I walked out of the common room with my hard shoes clicking against the marble floor of the hallway. I hiked it towards the dining hall thinking and craving the chocolate chip pancakes that were only given on Sundays. I plopped down on the bench next to a tired Draco. "Morning." I said out of breath. "Mm hm." He replied groggily. He yawned and placed his head on my shoulder. "Looks like someone didn't get much sleep last night." I said laughing. "Ugh I was up last night calculating and recalculating the girls. I must have missed one." I was so tired of him being blind. I finished my pancakes quickly and silently and left him the drawing I've been working on. I slipped the pencil into my bag and walked to my room. I threw my rucksack onto my bed and sat at my desk to draw. I was drawing a picture of my beautiful owl when I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened it. It was Neville. "Oh hey Neville! What's up?"
"Um well how do I ask a girl out?" He asked nervously. I chuckled and let him into my room. "Well Who are you asking out?"
"Luna."
"Luna? She's a nice girl isn't she?"
"Yes, and cute and smart." He smiled.
"Well you like this girl don't you?"
"Yes, very much so."
"Well, talk to her. Somehow transition into asking her out. If she wants you to date her it was meant to be, if not, there will be someone else. But I personally hope she says yes." I winked. He smiled and laughed and walked out. "Good luck!" I shouted. "Thanks!" He shouted back. I shook my head and started drawing again. It was about half an hour later of me sketching shading and drawing when I heard another knock. I think it's Neville. I walked over to the door and as I opened it I asked "did you get her?" I looked up to see Draco. "Oh sorry I though you were Neville."
"That's Okay But, you should ask me this time."
"Oh yeah did you get the girl?"
"Not yet. Cause she doesn't know that I know."
"Really? Well then why don't you tell her?"
"Because I'm telling her now."
I stood there.
"Y/n I know it's you. I'm sorry I was so dumb to miss you. If you would would you be with me this Christmas?"
"Of course." I said hugging him.
I invited him in and he sat on my bed while I sat on my desk chair in my short shorts and t shirt.
"So what do you want to do? We have like two days." I said.
"Well I have your present. And I know you have mine." He smirked. I blushed because he knows I bought it for him like a month ago.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"Um 2:30 why?"
"Crap! I have to be somewhere! I'm so sorry!" I rushed.
"Woah woah woah, where?"
"Um I have to be at a- a place. It's private."
"Oh okay." He said giving in.
"I'm sorry. I'll be back soon." I kissed his cheek and he smiled.
I ran out the door with my rucksack and ran to the room of requirement.
