I was holding the baby when felt the bed move. It was my mate. She was finally awake. I smile at her and hand her baby. She pulls the baby close to her and jumps back. She must be afraid but I wouldn't hurt her. I move closer to her. She jumps back again. I could see the fear in her eyes. I keep moving closer to her. "Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you."I said. She looks at me scared. She jumps up and tries to run but falls and the baby sounds off. I laugh and go to help her up. "Are you ok? " I ask. She backs away from me. I move closer to her. "Calm down. " I said sotfly. She hides her face with arm. I see a blood mark on her arm. My eyes got big as I look at the mark. I get closer to her again and hides her face. I move her arm away. "Why are you scared? " I ask trying to go scare her. I can all the fear in her eyes. "Wouldn't you be if-" she cut herself from talking. "If what? " I said confused. She looks at me. 'She's afraid because she got attacked and she don't know where she is. I talk to her wolf Maddie.Our mate's name is Amber.' Ryan called in my head. Amber!?! I like that name. "Was it the attack? " I ask. I heard her scream.
