"Or you be a nun" Malinda said again giving me a very hard laughed, tears could probably be rolling out of her damn eyes
"That not what I meant" her laugh is creeping me out "Whatever girl we have a routine to practice" I said as I tied my hair to an updo and left the locker room, I still hear Malinda laugh following my ass to the gym

I was- I am the head Cheerleader of Little Rock High, OLR cheer, we had just returned from summer and Louise was looking too fat to raise a leg, Mary, probably everybody could have forgotten the routine, so we definitely need to take the edge out

When am seventy I probably would remember all my routines, and dance moves cause that was something I practiced while doing anything

"Okay okay, summer is over lovelies" I said looking at my team, few new faces I hoped they wouldn't disappointment "And our job is to Cheer huh" I took over from my Normal voice to my loud voice "Am Amara Tarma, your head cheer" I paused and I realized most people didn't know how to pronounce my name,

They pronounce it weirdly like AaaMaRA it should be Amara what the hustle there🙄

Then I added "Or you can call me AT, Kinston Have a game thursday, we doing old routine coach Becca says so, newbies you just watch and learn"

"And wait a minute, you said you be back here in twenty minutes time after you finish with setting up music-

"Okay maintain your position we go through this routine the last time" I took my position and Amy took hers

Now we complete, except Malinda shouting at the other side of the gym at newbies

I played the music and at my command we started the routine

Practice was finally over, I didn't want to change out of my cheer leader cloth, I really loved being in my black cheerleader cloth

"Yo you better learn how to drive" I shouted as I dropped my bag pack in the trunk
"I better do!!" She shouted back
"How was I suppose to reply to that?" I asked as I switched the ignition

"Girl those newbies couldn't even lift a leg none of them ever gone through gymnastics or something I almost hit one with my hands!" She was shouting when clearly we were just two in my car driving home

Malinda was Bipolar, on top of that she could loose her black ass mind to little stuffs, everyone in school knew it and we treated her with love she deserves.

Except that I still whoop and spank her ass when she ask for it, won't lie we best friends but fight a lot

My grand dad was bipolar too, just after he died we found out his secrets

Cause of the headache I had, I didn't know when I drifted asleep, Amara knows how to drive for real for someone with a permit, school wasn't too far from home but I was tired and I drifted
"Yo Malinda we at your pops crib"
Those were the first words I heard, I was just about getting up from how I comfortably sat and then

"Owwwww" I said getting up fully awakened, Amara took her tongue out
"That what you get bitch for laughing at me in front of everybody today" she said laughing
No this bitch didn't just- I struggled to get my way to pinch her right back, but she was just playing around with her hands avoiding me from doing so

She got down from the car and I did too, we were running on the lawn outside the gate of my place, I wanted my revenge, this wasn't the first I and Amara chased each other and fought over who was going to get the last pinch

So don't be surprised

"Leave me alone, you got what you deserved" Amara said laughing
"Uggghh You deserve to get some too"
"Girls!!" Someone called our attention

no one had that voice except!!!🤯

"Mom" I ran to hug her, Amara sluggishly did after she got up from the lawn, Amara been family, and my mom is her family

"You two still ain't gonna grow up from Fighting" she said holding we both to our waist now
"Sun, Malinda laughed at me unstoppable today at school"
"She said she was going to be a nun" I gave a squeal
"Girl, Amara?" She laughed out a long laughter, I felt justified by her laugh, cause no one would believe Amara ending up to be a lonely cat lady later in future, she was just in a toxic relationship with someone that lied to her and broke her doesn't mean she won't find love.

Yunno that what happens, they break your heart, you act like you never in it, till you in it and they break your heart again

"I better be going now, mom expecting me early" I knew Amara wouldn't stay longer cause my mom was here

"I would" I took my back pack, Amara didn't seem quite happy about mom being back, she got in her car reverse and drove away, she just kept waving at us and smiling
