We kept struggling with the knife, Melissa held the sharp part of it- if that is not my mind playing with me

Where did she learn to take such risk

The moment I left the knife, she took it to my face

"O my goooood" I screamed holding my chin

I was wrong she want to hurt me!!

She steeped back and exhaled

"There" Melissa  said putting the knife back in her bag "Stubborn Head- don't thank me"

I wasn't 🙄
I could have lost blood

I cleared my throat

It wasn't painful, I didn't feel any pain, but the thought that a knife blade just breeze my Jaw, I literally just know it should be painful

She turned to the mirror, took a lip gloss out of her bag, and dart them on her lip, I just stared at her with my mouth open

Where did this Melissa come from
This wasn't the Melissa I knew😩

"What!" She shouted still looking at herself on the mirror

That right is bad to stare

I quickly turned to the sink to wash my hands, I seriously forgot I had to use the toilet

"You want some birthday girl?" She stretched out the gloss

"Are those fine-babies cotton candy gloss!!"  I said excitedly

Damn one thing didn't change Melissa still spend her dad money on good things

"Whatever" she said closing the gloss and dropping it in her bag

She walked passed me heading for the door

"You almost killed me Melissa, but thank you"
"Trust me I can handle a knife" she smiled a little

Melissa dilaurentis smiled a real smile, not the evil smile
I haven't seen those lips curved like forever

"And I also learnt how to chunk it down into people's throat without them shouting" she said, and my smile turned into a frown

She smiled evilly and left the toilet, I turned around to continue washing my hands, I ran my hands in my hair

I closed the tap and looked at myself in the mirror

Truth be told I wasn't making progress using my nails, I hate to say it but Melissa kinda knife helped

Oh great, now Mr Philip, Oscar and Russel eyes are on me

"Oscar you kidding right?" Russel asked "Mona didn't throw any punch, there wasn't a punch"

"You said you couldn't remember a thing from yesterday, but I bet you remember saying that earlier today right?"

"Fair Oscar, Mona you lied to Russel?" Mr Philip said agreeing to with Oscar and Russel had no words to say in his confused state of mind

I mean who doesn't like to be a super hero, how was I going to say why I lied when it seems like all the oxygen in Mr Philip office is lost😑

Am about to start talking, explaining how things really went yesterday before the game, when Mr Philip door went open and Scare Crow came in

"You are forgetting someone Humphrey"

"What does Melissa has to do with this?" Mr Philip asked, I could tell he didn't enjoy her presence just like I didn't

"Okay" he said, he was tired of hearing different stories but I genuinely thinks he wants all of this to end up with Oscar being the prey

I said exactly, exactly exactly not missing anything out of any details of what happened, I hope Russel forgives me for lying to him🥺
but this was my tuition Oscar was dragging into this

"...I took Russel to the recovery bay, and that was how it happened"
"Everyone agrees to that?" Mr Philip asked playing with his pen
"Ohh Mona" Scare crow gave a smirk "Humphrey that wasn't how things went" she said

"It was a Peaceful day before the match started, Russel here" she pointed at him

She acted like she was trying to remember, I know she cooking up the lie in her scare crow head

"Was looking for his locker, Probably, was it your locker Russel?"

There was silence, we were waiting for Russel to speak up

He wouldn't dare say yes, he was lost on his was to the library, Melissa pick a better route to lie 😏

Russel looked at me, I saw the face Melissa was giving to Russel

No Russel don't agree with Scare crow, I know I lied but don't do this😒

"Yes Melissa is right" Russel finally said
"That is not-
"Chill Mona we allowed you to talk" she said "Yes Humphrey like I said, Russel was looking for his locker, he didn't exactly know everything about the school and how to go around and stuff like that" she paused

Where is she heading to with whatever she saying

"In his search for his locker, he opened Oscar's locker, Oscar got so mad at him- he wouldn't hurt him, but he just held his neck"

If what she said was right or wrong I didn't know, I only showed up when Oscar was holding his neck
But Russel 😡
said he was searching for the library

"You weren't-
"No no no, am not finished Humphrey" she interrupted Mr Philip
"Well Mona here" she pointed at me "Saw Oscar holding Russel neck and wanted to help, she blew him on his nose and that how everything happened"

I can't believe this😧

"Yeah we have been cleared about that, Mona threw the first punch- but Oscar didn't?" Mr Philip didn't seem convinced

Please he shouldn't believe this story

"I didn't" he said
"Wow" Mr Philip straightened up in his Chair
"Mona Bradford, why did you lie?"
"Lie? I didn't lie to you" I said almost shouting "Let's Ask Melissa, where does she come in and how does she know all this" I smirked

My smirking turn girl

She laughed

Why she laughing🤨

"Mona Bradford are you even in this school at all, I got appointed  since last Year, to be the school eyes and I have been carrying out my job really well, I only came to report the truth of everything I saw"

How was I going to know if she was lying!!!!
But she was the one that gave the mouth punch, I sawwwwwww it 😨

"Right Oscar?" She looked at Oscar
"Painful to move a neck, true Melissa" Oscar replied
"No" I shouted "she is lying-
"Tell her Russell, you were at the basketball court, am not lying am I?"

"Oscar?" She raised an eyebrow looking at Oscar

There was silence in the room, every attempt I made in convincing Mr Philip was just void, he knew I lied already to the nerd, I punched Oscar but all these is just on me???

"Okay" Mr Philip finally spoke, he cleared his throat "Rusty" he pointed to him "Welcome to Little Rock High and be careful, you always won't be a new student" he laughed

This is the point he gives his verdict judgment or punishment whatever 😣

"Oscar? Since the trouble one, this would have been your last pass trust me" he was looking at Oscar "But well all I can say is be careful also"

"Mona" he turned to me "I don't really know what to say to you

"There is no punishment for that now, doesn't mean it should repeat itself" he was pointing at me

Mr Philip said as we all stood up to leave his office "Mona stay back"
