Seating by the pool, my hands leaning back, while my legs played with the water, class was about to start, at the other side of the swim pool coach Britney was yelling at one of the girls, I don't know why, but I think cause she wasn't putting on her yellow dolphin swim suit

At the other end, a new swimmer was learning the back stroke

The swimmer girl was still struggling to leave my grip, I could feel Melissa eyes burning on me, waiting for my next move
"Stay out of this Melissa" I turned to her, she was down from the locker, on her feet as usual on her black cloth and pen knife, if them boys were scared of her I wasn't, the corridor was quiet, only the swimmer girl making sounds of struggle

She began to walk towards my direction, the boys walked back, I was left standing where I was, she was still toying with the knife and singing under her breath
"I want to mess with the devil" she laughed, repeating what I had said to the swimmer girl "Leave the girl alone" this time she said it slowly to register its finality and what she meant
"Melissa stay out of this" I said a little frightened, contemplating if I should just let the girl go and walk away, Melissa didn't reply me this time
