Harry was in potion class when Neville's cauldron exploded and Snape was picking on him making Harry angry at the man.

"FUCKING LEAVE NEVILLE ALONE OR ELSE I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" Snape had never seen Harry this angry since the mountain troll on Halloween night.
