Tatiana's eyes were pressed on the two of them with her lips also curled into a frown. She demanded answers, and Dominique only stared at her wondering how she and Alex had even known each other. Well, that's a question for another time. Right now, she just wanted to be in his arms. So, Tatiana could go to hell for all she cared.

As if they shared the same thoughts, Alex simply looked away from the frowning lady and back to her with a smile, "Let's get out of here, Minnie."

She nodded, "Of course," She said but then remembered her work behind the stands, and her face fell, "but, I'm on a shift here."

Alex's raised one eyebrow, "A shift?"

She was about to reply, when Genesis's voice came up from behind them, and the three turned to her. Her tray was empty, so it was obvious that she had maxed out the drinks and came for a refill. Dominique instantly felt bad - she could not possibly leave all the work to Gen.

"What are you still waiting for, Dom?" Genesis asked.

Dominique pursed her lips, "You mean I can go?"

Genesis rolled her eyes, and sighed. "C'mon, go!"

Dominique could not believe that Genesis was okay with her going with Alex, and she smiled broadly. She reached for Alex's hand and pulled him along with her.

"Thanks, Gen. I owe you one!" She excitedly said to Genesis who smiled and watched as they both left the stand.

She then turned around to see the frozen look on Tatiana's face and she laughed. "Hey, missy, are you okay?"

Tatiana turned her shocked eyes to Genesis, and shook her head in disbelief, "What just happened?"

Genesis laughed, "I believe you just got dumped," She said, and laughed harder.

Tatiana's face grew red like a tomato, and she blared at Genesis, "You savages!" She gritted.

Genesis pretended to be surprised at her actions, "Oh, dear, I hope you're not mad," She said and eyed her, before hissing, "You better be, because a savage just stole a man right from your side."

Tatiana snapped in anger, "Fuck you all!," She scowled and marched away.

Genesis bent over, and held her side as she laughed so hard at Tatiana. Whosoever that man was, a ruthless woman like Tatiana didn't deserve him, but someone like her friend was perfect.

Alexander and Dominique walked hand in hand to his vehicle which was parked at the side of the hostel. They hadn't said a word to each other, and only let the sensation in between them speak for the both of them. She wondered what had happened while she was away from him, and at this thought, she also began considering how the future would be.

No matter how deaf she wanted to be towards the sick things in her life, she just couldn't help but be tortured by Vincent's words. She wished she could tell Alex about his father, and what he had said to her. But, her heart was heavy and her lips reluctant to speak.

It was just minutes after seeing again, and he couldn't take his eyes off her, for he feared that if he did, she might leave again, and he just knew he'll not be able to bear that.

As much as he craved answers, his heart was pallid to searching the roots of his questions or demanding the stems of her answers. One day, in her free will, Dominique would share it all with him, and that time would be perfect. For now, all he could do was to follow the leads of his destiny with her. However, if destiny or fate plays a joke on separating him from his beloved, then he'll just have to fuck it up, and take control of his own fate.

As they got to the car, Alex opened the side door for Minnie, and she got right in. But a few feet from them, was Paul just arriving on his bike. Upon seeing the man with Dominique, he flared up, and let his emotions take over him.

He jumped off his bike, and dashed to them, and without warning, he yanked Alex away from the door, and threw him to the ground.

This happened so fast, that Dominique was caught off guards, but her hairs stood up when she saw Alex fall to the ground. She wasn't even given the opportunity to react to this, when Paul got to Alex, and began raining blows on him.

For a while, Alex used his arms to barricade his face from the strange attacker, however, once he got back control of himself, he whisked Paul in the face, and kicked him off.

Paul tumbled over and met the ground with his face. Seeing that his attacker was down, Alex stood up to his feet, and stepped back from the man on the ground. Paul pulled himself back up, and stared Alex down. His face instantly took a different form as his eyebrows furrowed, and his lips twitched. He clenched his fists to a ball, and his jaws hardened up.

"Didn't I tell you to stay the hell away from her?" Paul blared through his tightened jaws.

Alex pulled his brows together in a scowl as he watched the strange man carefully. He had no idea what the mad man was yakking about, but he knew very well that the man was bent of harming him.

"Listen man-" He tried to explain, but Paul cut his short with a laugh.

"You just never learn, do you?" Paul gritted, and launched to Alex with his balled fists. Dominique's eyes flashed in fear, and she dashed out of the car, and in front of Alex.

"Paul!"

He instantly froze on seeing her, and his fist hung in the midair. His eyes went wide as he saw her stand in front of Alex - she was protecting him. Why would she? He had tried to hurt her before. Alex placed his hands around her, in a protective manner, but Paul's eyes darted from Minnie, and back to Alex.

A vein popped out in his neck and his expression hardened, "Dom, get away from him!" He gritted as he moved to grasp Alex, and fear crossed her face, and she teared open her lips.

"He's not Andrew!" She yelled out.

Both Alex and Paul threw their eyes at her, and all at once, the whole streets seemed to go quiet. Each man had their reasons for being taken aback by her outword. Paul, for the fact that he had no idea how this man wasn't the man he had earlier beaten to a pulp. While Alex was filled with the confirmation that his brother had really seen Dominique, and kept this from him.

Paul's jaw went slack as he took a second look at the man he had attacked, and saw that truly there was a difference somewhere, he just couldn't fathom what it was. He turned his eyes back to Dominique, "You mean he's a twin?"

Dominique nodded slowly, and the color drained out from his face. He snapped his eyes back to Alex, but this time around his face was pale with regrets - he had just hit an innocent man.

"Shit," Paul gasped, "I'm really sorry, man," He said to Alex, even though he knew that what he had done was way off the line, but he was sincerely sorry.

Alex's face was blanked with confusion at the turnouts of actions from the attacker, and his own girlfriend. He ignored Paul, and turned Dominique to face himself. Her lips were turned down and her brows were wrinkled. He looked into her eyes, and gave the sides of her arms a slight squeeze.

"Was Andrew here with you?"

Without hesitation, Dominique nodded. "He had shown up in the bar where I worked, and-" She paused, reluctant to tell Alex that his brother had assaulted her that night.

Maybe she was, but Paul certainly wasn't. Just looking at the way Alexander's eyes sparkle with the image of Dominique, he knew that she had found someone who was willing to do anything to protect her, more than he could. He looked at Dominique and saw her hesitation, and so, he chose to speak up. "Your brother, Andrew, if I am right," he cut in, "had assaulted Dominique that same night."

Alex's eyes went wide with the whites showing clearly, and in a stance, terror overtook his face, and his eyes darted to Paul, and then back to Dominique. "Minnie, is this true?"

Reluctantly, she nodded. "Yes."

Alex scrunched up in anger, and his veins pulsed in his temple, as the words settled into his mind. Andrew had the guts to lay his hand on her? He bared his teeth. He would deal heavily with that brother of his, in such a way, that their mother wouldn't even recognize him.

Andrew will pay dearly for what he did to Dominique. Alexander promised himself.
