Chapter 31

I didn't have a hand kink until I met Kim Namjoon

I didn't have a lot of kinks until I met Kim Namjoon

Now I'd let him run me over with his bicycle and call it bike daddy

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Baby it's getting late." Yoongi said, looking through his phone to the student.

Namjoon glanced at the corner of the laptop screen, seeing it was a little past midnight. "I still have some time. I just wanna brush up on ancient Egypt because it's been a while since we reviewed that, and I just know it's gunna be on the test."

He yawned, feeling tired, though he pushed that aside.

Yoongi hummed, admiring his studious boy. "I thought you said you don't even need to study."

"I don't." Namjoon retorted. "But fuck Taehyung, I want to get a 150/100. Imagine his stupid face when he only gets 98!"

Yoongi smiled. "Nerd."

"Pervert."

"Baby."

"Asshole."

"Mine."

"Mm."

Yoongi yawned into his hand. "Well I'm gunna head to bed soon."

Namjoon pouted, looking up at the dom. "You're not gunna stay up with me?"

Yoongi sighed dramatically, flopping back onto the couch. "Must I?"

"Thoust must." Namjoon nodded, flipping a page in his textbook.

Yoongi watched him study through the screen, admiring how cute the boy looked as he talked to himself and scribbled down notes. His cute little nose scrunching up every now and then, his lips pursed as he concentrated, occasionally taking out a cupcake from the basket.

"Namjoon..."

Namjoon looked up, swaying a little in his seat.

"What do you think about...us ending this bet?" Yoongi asked, his voice deep with sleepiness.

"No." Namjoon scowled.

"Hear me out. We end it, and instead...just date."

There was silence for longer than Yoongi expected, and he opened his eyes, seeing Namjoon looking pained.

"It doesn't matter who wins, at the end of the day we're going to be tied to each other for life. And you deserve a healthy relationship, not an ownership." Yoongi explained. "I wouldn't want you as my pet or property, just as my boyfriend. My baby to treasure and value and love and respect. Don't you want the same if you win and I lose?"

Namjoon didn't know what to say. His eyes felt unnaturally heavy, and it was hard to move his limbs.

"Baby?"

Yoongi sounded far away.

Namjoon's heart pounded as he panicked.

Yoongi's words and the scary familiar feeling of being drugged were making him freak out.

He tried to tell Yoongi that he needed him, but nothing came out.

"Namjoon!" Yoongi gasped when he saw the boy fall off his chair, hitting the ground and not getting back up. "Namjoon!"

The student didn't reply, didn't get back in the frame.

"Namjoon!" Yoongi shouted, scrambling up from the couch, suddenly wide awake.

Did he have a seizure? Was he that stressed about Yoongi's question? Was there something else Namjoon was hiding from him?

Yoongi was about to get in his car and race over, but then he remembered he didn't know where the student lived. Nor did he know how to get inside legally.

Fuckfuckfuck, what could he do? Call the cops? That would get Namjoon's parents involved and they would question Yoongi, question their relationship-

Hoseok.

He still had that other students number from when Hoseok had signed Namjoon up for that first session all those days ago.

Yoongi took his phone with him as he ran to his computer, checking the small screen to see nothing had changed.

"Namjoon!" Yoongi shook his phone, as if that would affect the boy at all.

He growled in panicked frustration as his laptop slowly booted up, clicking to his emails and scrolling all the way back to August.

There!

Yoongi clicked on it, and quickly dialed Hoseok's number.

It rang out, and Yoongi called again, not caring about how late it was.

Finally, after three attempts, a sleepy Hoseok picked up. "Hullo?"

"Hoseok, it's Yoongi!" Yoongi said.

"Yoongi?" Hoseok yawned. "Bruh, the fuck? It's like, dark o'clock, what's-"

"You need to go help Namjoon!" Yoongi cut him off.

"Huh?" Hoseok sat up. "Help Namjoon?"

"He collapsed suddenly and I can't help him, I don't know his address or garage code." Yoongi paced, one stressed hand grabbing his hair. "He's not responding to me and I don't even know if he's breathing or-" He couldn't even finish that sentence.

He could hear Hoseok jumping out of bed. "What the fuck- okay, I'll text you the address and Kook and I will meet you there."

Yoongi could have collapsed in relief. "Thank you, hurry!"

He hung up and checked the video call, seeing nothing had changed still. He didn't know if that was a good or bad thing yet.

A text came in, an address and a small code, and Yoongi raced to his car.

He sped down the road, ignoring the stop signs.

He had to stop at the red lights though, and as he impatiently waited for it to turn green, he scrubbed a tear away.

He hadn't even realized he was crying.

He was so worried for the boy, he just needed Namjoon to be okay.

Please please please, let him be okay...please don't take him from me...my baby...

-

Yoongi killed his headlights as he turned down Namjoon's street, slowing the car down to turn into a driveway.

He shut off the engine and closed his door as quiet as he could, not wanting to wake up Namjoon's parents.

A car screeched around the corner on two wheels, knocking over someone's trashcan loudly and came to a jarring halt an inch away from Yoongi's car.

Hoseok poked his head out the window. "Hey Mr. Min!"

Jungkook leaned out the window too, looking sick.

"Quiet!" Yoongi hissed. "We can't wake up his parents!"

Hoseok hurried over, Jungkook a little slower. "So what happened?"

Yoongi explained as they walked to the garage. "We were video chatting and then he just...fell. I don't know, he's not waking up or answering me. Do you know if he's ever done this before or if he has any kind of medical condition that would cause this?"

Hoseok shook his head as he punched in the garage code and the big door slowly lifted.

Yoongi cringed at the noise, but hopefully Namjoon's parents were deep sleepers.

They raced inside, shutting the door quietly behind them as they kicked off their shoes.

"No, he's never collapsed in front of me or Kook before, but I don't know if he's done it at home or something." Hoseok whispered as they slowly climbed the stairs.

Jungkook held Hoseok's hand, heart pounding as he hoped for Namjoon to be okay.

Hoseok pointed to a closed door, showing Yoongi it was Namjoon's bedroom, and Yoongi knocked on it.

There was no reply, even after he knocked again, a little louder.

He twisted the knob and was relieved it wasn't locked.

He pushed it open and gasped when he saw Namjoon laying on the ground. His chair had tipped over when he fell, landing on the boys legs.

"Baby!" He raced over, suddenly not caring if he woke up the whole damn neighborhood.

Nothing in the world mattered except for Namjoon.

He fell to his knees beside the unresponsive boy, shoving the chair away and shaking Namjoon's shoulder roughly. "Namjoon! Namjoon!"

"Is he breathing?" Hoseok raced over as well while Jungkook hovered by the closed door, keeping an ear open for footsteps.

Yoongi rolled the boy over onto his back and pressed his hand on Namjoon's chest, feeling a faint heartbeat. He checked his watch and saw how slow Namjoon's heart was going. Leaning down to the boys face, he felt small, weak puffs of air.

"He's alive," he sighed.

He's alive. He's not dead.

"But something's wrong, he's unresponsive and his heart rate is too faint." Yoongi frowned, wondering what was wrong.

"That doesn't make sense, Nyumjoobie is the healthiest dude alive!" Hoseok frowned. "How can his heart be weak at nineteen years of age?"

"Did he take some bad medication?" Jungkook whispered.

"As far as I know, he doesn't have any illnesses to take medication for." Yoongi said, recalling how he briefly saw Namjoon's papers from the clinic that day they got the STD tests done.

"What do we do?" Hoseok whispered, reaching out to shake Namjoon's arm.

The boy didn't wake up, didn't acknowledge he even felt Hoseok's touch.

Yoongi looked down, softly cupping the sleeping boys cheek. He brushed his thumb over the spot where Namjoon's cute dimples would show if he was smiling.

His precious, stubborn, annoying, pain in the ass baby.

Yoongi didn't care if this got the bet exposed and he lost, he was taking Namjoon to the hospital.

He would rather lose the bet than lose Namjoon any day.

He picked up his baby, holding him bridal style and close to his heart. "We're checking him into the hospital."

"Isn't this kidnapping?" Jungkook wondered.

"We're saving his life." Hoseok said, following Yoongi out of the room.

"Well yeah, but isn't it still kidnapping?" Jungkook hurried after them. "Like, technically?"

"If he was conscious I'm sure he would consent to us taking him to a hospital." Hoseok said. "Since the alternative is death."

"But you don't know that for sure." Jungkook said. "So it could be against his will, which would make this kidnapping."

"Are you calling Nambaby suicidal?"

"No! Well maybe. I dunno, I'm just trying to figure out what exactly we're doing. Are we going to get in trouble for this or not?"

Yoongi let them talk as he gently laid Namjoon in the backseat of his car. He pulled the buckle over the boys legs and chest, leaning in to kiss his face a few times in the process.

"It's okay baby, dom's got you."

-

It was an uncomfortable check in process, as Yoongi had to do all the talking since Namjoon couldn't.

"Does he have any known medical conditions that would trigger this state?"

"Uh, I don't know."

"What has he ingested in the past twenty four hours?"

"I'm not really sure..."

"What's his medical insurance?"

"I don't...know.

"Any allergies?"

"I don't know that either."

Up until about an hour ago, Yoongi didn't even know the boys address.

He realized he barely knew anything about Namjoon.

Finally, the nurses wheeled him away, and though Yoongi wanted to go with, he wasn't in Namjoon's emergency contact list, and wasn't allowed.

He sighed, leaning against the white wall of the waiting room and closed his eyes, suddenly exhausted. His fear had tired him out.

"Mr. Min?" Jungkook asked meekly. "Is...is Namjoon going to be okay?"

Yoongi opened his eyes to see Hoseok and Jungkook looking at him with big eyes. They looked like preschoolers with their scared expressions.

Not that Yoongi could blame them, he was scared too.

He sighed. "He's in the doctors hands now, he's where he needs to be. You two should get home and get some sleep. You have midterms tomorrow."

Hoseok shook his head. "No way. I'm not even going to blink until I hear that Nyumbooboobabycakes is okay."

"Yeah, I was going to fail those tests anyways." Jungkook agreed, sitting down in a chair to wait. "I want to stay."

Yoongi smiled, glad Namjoon had such good friends, even if he didn't realize it yet.

"You'll get in trouble for skipping class." He reminded them. "Go home and get ready for tomorrow. I'll call you if anything changes here."

"All due respect, Mr. Min." Hoseok said, suddenly serious. "I've known Namjoon since we were still in diapers. He is an arrogant, conceited jerk, and sometimes I want to hit him with my car. But he's my best friend, and I'm not leaving this hospital unless I'm leaving with him right beside me."

He plopped down next to Jungkook, who nodded. "Ditto."

Yoongi nodded, respecting that. "Alright. Then I'll get us some coffee and snacks."

-

It was a while before a nurse came up to them, finally having an update.

She led them back to Namjoon's room as she explained.

"We had to run a few tests, since we didn't know what we were looking for, but then we found copious amounts of melatonin in his system."

Yoongi stopped. "Melatonin?"

"What's that?" Hoseok asked. "The stuff that makes your skin dark?"

"That's melanin." Jungkook told him.

"Melatonin is a hormone that your pineal gland makes to help you fall asleep naturally." She told them. "The body makes about 6 micrograms a day, but we found about 30 milligrams in his bloodstream, which is 5000 times the normal dose."

"Five thousand?!" Hoseok looked like he was about to faint.

"He's not dead, right?" Jungkook felt the need to confirm this.

She shook her head. "No, melatonin is not lethal for humans. Or at least, not at 30mg. But it has side effects, like lowered heartrate, which could be fatal if one has a preexisting heart condition. But luckily, Mr. Kim is healthy and that wasn't the case. When he wakes up, he'll be dizzy, light headed, sensitive to light and loud sounds, as well as have migraines or headaches, but he will wake up."

She opened the door and led them into the room.

Yoongi saw Namjoon laying on the hospital cot, and his heart clenched in pain.

He rushed to the boys side, his breath catching at how small and pale his baby looked, hooked up to IV's and machines to monitor him.

"We're transfusing out the excess melatonin, so he'll wake up in about three hours." She said. "If you need anything, press that button there and a nurse will be in shortly." She gave them a smile and left.

Yoonig held Namjoon's hand, locking their fingers together. "Oh, Namjoon" He sat down in the uncomfortable chair, reaching his other hand up to stroke the boys hair.

"I don't get it." Hoseok said. "Why would he take so much melawhatever? He's not an idiot, he wouldn't take a whole bottle just to fall asleep."

Jungkook looked worried. "Maybe he really is suicidal..."

Yoongi shook his head. "No, we were video calling ever since I dropped him off at home. He didn't take any pills. This had to have happened before..." He trailed off, thinking back.

"I know Namjoon. Even though his parents suck and he's under a lot of pressure and stress, he would never try to kill himself." Hoseok stated.

"But then...that means...if he didn't take the pills willingly, then someone slipped it to him." Jungkook said. "Who would do that to him? Who would go this far?"

Yoongi thought back. He was with Namjoon nearly all day, ever since he got home from school. He couldn't have taken the pills then, because he would have collapsed way earlier. He was with him when they got to Seokjin's house. It couldn't have been in the bread or cupcakes, Seokjin had no reason to poison Namjoon, and Yoongi and Seokjin had both eaten that as well without getting affected.

The giftbasket.

It was the only thing Namjoon ate that Yoongi didn't.

The basket from Seokjin.

But Seokjin wouldn't- he had no reason to hurt Namjoon- neither would Jimin-

But Taehyung would.

Yoongi jumped up suddenly, startling the two students as he kicked the chair across the room.

"Fuck!" He shouted, enraged. "Kim fucking Taehyung!"

"Taehyung?" Jungkook gasped.

Hoseok jumped up too, punching his fist in his palm. "Of course! That bastard! He wanted Namjoon to miss the midterms so he could be number one for once! Ooo, let me get my bat-"

"You two stay here." Yoongi growled, stalking to the door. "I'll handle Taehyung; for real this time."

Hoseok looked like he wanted to argue to come with, but Jungkook held him back.

"Mr. Min's got this." He said. "We should be here in case Namjoon wakes up early."

Hoseok agreed and slowly sat back down.

He watched through the window as Yoongi walked across the parking lot to his car.

"Taehyung dun fucked up."

-

It was only a twenty minute drive to Seokjin's house from the hospital, so Yoongi still had about two and a half hours before Namjoon should wake up.

But he only needed five minutes to finish this.

He kicked the door in after unlocking it with his key that Seokjin gave him, not caring if it woke everyone up.

He stormed down the hall and broke down Taehyung's door, waking up the boy instantly.

"What- Yoongi?" The boy looked alarmed as Yoongi flicked on the light. "What the hell- what are you-"

Yoongi climbed onto the bed, pinning Taehyung down, his nails digging into the boys arms.

"Ow! What the fuck are you-"

"You fucking drugged Namjoon." Yoongi spat, fury in his eyes that Taehyung had never seen before. "You could have killed him!"

Taehyung balked, not knowing how Yoongi figured this out. "I- I-"

"Enough with your stupid games! You've gone too fucking far and fucking pissed me off! I'm calling the police on your ass, and you'll be damn lucky if I decide to drag you into the station in one piece!"

Taehyung screamed when Yoongi raised his fist, and then Seokjin burst in.

"Yoongi?" He was shocked to see his best friend about to beat up his little brother. "What's going on?"

"Jinnie!" Taehyung scrambled to his brothers side. "He's crazy! He broke in here to kill me!"

"I'm sure that's not true, right Yoon-"

"Damn fucking right I did." Yoongi spat.

Seokjin blinked.

"Uh...?" Jimin scrubbed his eye with one hand, still in his pajamas. "What?"

"He poisoned Namjoon!" Yoongi accused, pointing at Taehyung. "He's in the hospital now!"

"What?!" Seokjin gasped. "What- Taehyung wouldn't do that!"

"Yeah, you don't have any proof!" Taehyung hid behind his brother.

Yoongi didn't care what they thought, he knew what he knew.

He ducked into the boys bathroom and searched, flinging towels and face products around until he opened the medicine cabinet and found what he was looking for.

He grabbed the bottle of sleeping pills and felt how light it was. Like it had recently been emptied.

He marched back and showed them the bottle. He opened it and dumped out a few pills, all that was left.

"He used these!" Yoongi said. "He slipped them into that gift basket and Namjoon ate those cupcakes!"

Seokjin and Jimin looked to Taehyung.

"Tete...you wouldn't go that far..." Seokjin frowned. "Would you?"

Taehyung shook his head rapidly. "No! Of course not! I have no idea what he's saying! Please, Chimmy, Jinnie, call the cops on him!"

"You hate Namjoon" Jimin said slowly. "You've hated him for years. And then he gets sick after coming over here...it kinda adds up."

"How do you know he didn't just take some pills at home?" Taehyung argued. "Why would I slip him my own?"

"Because midterms are tomorrow and you wanted Namjoon to oversleep and miss them." Yoongi growled. He pocketed the bottle, intending to use it as evidence. "But you gave him too much, and now he's in the hospital. I know he didn't take any pills because we were video calling all evening. He had to have been poisoned from here, from you!"

Jimin stepped away, as if being an asshole was contagious. He looked to Yoongi. "What hospital is he in? Can I ride there with you?"

"I didn't do anything!" Taehyung insisted. "Really, Jinnie, you believe me right?"

Seokjin hesitated. "I...I don't know, I need to think-"

Yoongi pushed past them, wanting to get back to see his baby. The police will trace the melatonin in Namjoon to those cupcakes, and from them to this bottle.

Jimin raced after him. "Wait, Yoongi! Can I come with, please?"

Yoongi slowed down and looked at the boy. "Why?"

"I need to see him," Jimin confessed. "I have to make sure he's okay."

"He's fine." Yoongi turned and walked to the door.

"Please!" Jimin begged. "I...I really care for him. Please...let me come with you."

Yoongi stopped, hearing the pain in Jimin's voice. He sighed, facing him. "Fine. Come on."

Jimin beamed, racing over to pull his shoes on.

They got into Yoongi's car and headed to the hospital.

-

Seokjin pulled Taehyung into his lap, hugging his crying baby brother.

"Tete, be honest with me." He said sternly, cupping Taehyung's face. "Did you really drug Namjoon?"

Taehyung sniffed and hiccuped, scrubbing his eyes. "Y-you don't understand, Jinnie! Namjoon is him!"

"Him?" Seokjin was confused.

"The one Yoongi is in that bet with!" Taehyung insisted.

Seokjin froze, all the pieces clicking into place.

"How old is he?"

"Eighteen."

Namjoon was a high school student.

It made sense why Namjoon and Yoongi were always together when they came over. The way Yoongi was always close by to him, always looking at him fondly, the reason why Namjoon was wearing Yoongi's favorite sweatshirt.

He knew from Taehyung how stubborn Namjoon could be, he was definitely the cocky type to make bets.

The bet Yoongi had lied about being over with.

Namjoon was the reason Seokjin couldn't have his first love.

Arrogant, asshole Kim Namjoon had made this stupid bet with his Yoongichi.

Yoongi, who obviously was head over heels for the student.

Yoongi, who was going to lose the bet, and have his life ruined, owned by a high schooler.

Taehyung could see the change in his brother and gripped his shirt.

"Help me, Jinnie! I wanna beat Namjoon at school and you want to beat him for Yoongi's heart! I'm sure you know what happens if Yoongi loses, do you really want that for him? Namjoon's a fucking jerk, I know that first hand! Come on, we'll make him lose, and then you can date Yoongi! He can date Jimin instead, and that makes both of you happy! And I'll be happy once he drops out of school and I can take the number one spot! It's a triple win! And if Yoongi doesn't lose, he gets to keep his life, so technically it's a win-win-win-win!"

Seokjin knew it was a bad idea to get involved with this.

He knew Yoongi wouldn't want him to interfere.

But Yoongi was blind with his love for Namjoon, and Seokjin had to see for him. Open the doms eyes for him.

Taehyung was right, anyways. Everyone but Namjoon would win if Taehyung got his way.

But Namjoon was an asshole, so it still worked out.

Seokjin finally nodded.

"Okay."

Taehyung grinned. "You made the right decision, Jinnie. Trust me."

Seokjin pulled out his phone and scrolled through his pictures of him and Yoongi together, laughing and kissing.

Min fucking Yoongichi...I'll save you.

You'll lose this bet if I don't.

This is for your own good.

He's a brat anyways, what do you see in him?

You belong with me.

I've loved you longer, I'll love you better.

Min fucking Yoongichi...
