Sometimes I wish I was creative enough to start my own internet challenges like some you see on tik tok. But like there's a mental block there. HOW ARE PEOPLE COMING UP WITH THESE RANDOM THINGS?! 🤔

Honestly I low key just want to be internet famous. (But for positive reasons 👀)

It was a Thurday night and Taehyung just got off from work. He was walking on the night streets of Seoul watching people go in and out of bars. He wished to hang out too but he was too tired. Instead, he opted to just go to the convenience store and pick up some snacks and Ramyun. Maybe some soju to drink by himself at home.

Just when he got to the convenience store, his phone rang. It was his mother and so he immediately answered "Hey mom, what's going on?"

"Taehyung-ah, I have bad news for you"

The male paused as he was picking up drinks from the stores refrigerator "Oh what happened?"

" A few days ago I injured my back while I was working. I fell down trying to pick up a bag of fertilizer. The doctors said I need surgery. It'll take some time for me to recover. I can't work the flower farm anymore.... I need your help" She explained hesitantly

Taehyung sighs " You need me to stay with you?"

"I-I know you like being in Seoul and all. I don't want to impede too much. I'm just... I'm really despera—"

"I'll come. Don't worry about it mom, it's not a problem for me" He said softly "Ive actually been thinking of seeing you. Staying with you might be best."

"Oh Taehyung-ah you'll move back for me? I hope that's not too much trouble for you" she said wincing slightly in pain

"Are you hurting a lot mom?"

"Y-Yes, I am. My surgery is in two weeks. Right now all I can do is endure the pain with over the counter pain meds. I'm actually about to sleep now. I'll let you know the details later"

"Okay mom. I'll talk to you soon. Love you, bye"

"Love you too son, bye"

After he hung up he immediately thought of Yoongi. He has to move away so suddenly. But he needs to be there for his mother. A couple years ago his father had died due to a factory accident. Taehyung's parents have always lived in the country side and didn't have much money. His father became victim to working a dangerous machine while he was exhausted working overtime.

His father died when Taehyung was living in Seoul. He knew his mother was devestated but he couldn't bring himself to move back because of the trauma. He didn't want to be reminded of his father after just losing him. He felt bed his mother was alone. Which is why he use to send her gifts every weekend, call her everyday, and even made his coworkers order flowers from her farm so she can have more business.

He felt guilty though. So maybe this was a perfect excuse to truly be there for his mother. He nodded his head agreeing to his own thoughts. He took the snacks he picked and drinks to the cashier. Afterward he leaves the store and called his best friend Jimin for advice. What was he supposed to do about Yoongi.

The phone rang a few times until Jimin answered with his soft voice. In the background he can hear yelling

"Tae! What's up"

"Oh am I disturbing you? you sound like you're hanging with the others"

"Oh yeah, i'm with Kookie and Hoseokie. Today it's game night at Kookie's house. Those two are playing Mario cart on the Switch. Let me go in another room" There was fumbling noises for a minute "Anyways, what did you need?"

Taehyung was now at his apartment door unlocking it "I'm moving back to town soon. My mom got into an accident and needs back surgery"

"Oh my Gosh! Do you need me to check on your mom? And wow I'm so happy you're coming back we miss you"

Taehyung chuckles "Yeah if you can check on her that would be great. Also i'm sad to go. Remember that guy I'm crushing on?"

"Ohh yeahh why? You're serious about him?"

"Yeah...he's literally everything to me. But moving away will make it difficult to see him often... now i'm sad" Taehyung pouts as he slumps down on the couch

"Okay well since you're serious about this guy then tell me his name first? You need your best friends approval first."

Taehyung smiles thinking of Yoongi's face "His name is Min Yoongi. And he's the fluffiest and most beautiful doll I've ever seen"

"Wait Min Yoongi? As in the son of the Min SungJin? The most powerful business man in korea!?"

"Oh? You know about him?" Taehyung asked surprised. It's crazy how he wasn't aware of Yoongi's family but everyone else were

"Hell yeah I know about him! How do you even know him Tae"

"Oh one day he came to my restaurant and we kept seeing each other here and there. It was love at first sight"

"Okay wait wait wait! So the man you comforted and started going on basically dates with is Min Yoongi. He's a whole married man! Tae you're a home-wrecker"

Taehyung laughs "Yeah but for a good reason. I didn't tell you this. And promise me you won't tell anyone"

"Okay I promise"

"His husband is abusing him. Yoongi is also being controlled by his parents too. He's... depressed. And I just want to lift my little angle up. I want to be there for him. Which is why... moving will be difficult for me" Taehyung explained feeling choked up for some reason. He really did develop strong feelings for Yoongj. He developed then quickly

"Tae I know you're upset. This is a pretty sticky situation. But you have to be there for your mom too. It's not like y'all can be in a log distance relationship. A long distance relationship with a married man. That wouldn't work" Jimin snorts "Thats a terrible Ide—"

" THATS A GREAT IDEA!" Taehyung shoots up from his seat "I'll be able to keep tabs on him. I'll visit him every weekend"

"Tae no that's ridiculous. Look these are powerful rich people. Don't mess anything up in their lives. Next thing you know you'll be a target"

"But I have to help him Jimin. He needs me. The other day we went out to the park for this festival. He told me a lot about his life. W-We almost kissed too! I know he's the one. I just know it" The taller was getting worked up

"Okay Okay I know, take deep breaths for me please"

Taehyung breathed in and out. Just when he calmed down he heard Jungkook's voice in the background

"Jimin hyung, who are you on the phone with? You're missing me beat Hobi at Mario cart" Jungkook whined in the background "Yeah babe I know. I'm just talking to Tae"

"Hey Kookie" Taehyung greeted

"Oh!? Taehyung hyung! Hey! I'll let you and Jimin talk. Babe I wanted to tell you we're ordering pizza" Jungkook said still in the distance "Oh okay, i'm fine with that"

"How are you and Jungkook?" Taehyung smirked thinking of his two friends. They've been dating for a few months now. He remembers Jungkook use to follow Jimin around like a puppy when they were in school. Now that they are adults he managed to make Jimin his boyfriend

"Me and Kookie are good" Jimin said in a sing song tone

"Ohhh I can hear the smile in your voice. Can't wait to see you guys being all lovey dovey" Taehyung started making kissing noises in the phone

"Oh stop it!" Jimin laughs "Anyways I should go. I'll check on your mom in the morning"

"Thanks Jiminie. Tell Hoseok and Jungkook I said hello and goodnight. Bye bye!"

"Bye Tae!"

They hang up and Taehyung throws his phone beside him on the couch. He stared up at his ceiling thinking of Yoongi. Maybe he should just confess before he leaves. Confessing his feelings will put him at ease at least.
