the next morning, hyunjin waited at the school gate. he wanted to greet seungmin and ask him how his morning was going. but minutes of waiting, his patience level started going down. making him tired of seeing each student pass by that was not seungmin.

"who you waiting for?" minho then questioned, woojin by his side as he waved.

"seungmin."

"that's interesting, you didn't apologize yesterday?" woojin asked, hyunjin shook his head as a no.

"why not."

"he didn't give me the chance to! he just kept being salty that I made him spill his tea on him. he actually hates me and does not want to be friends with me."

"well, isn't that final then. he doesn't like you and doesn't want to be friends with you." as minho chuckled. hyunjin just poured and threw his hands up in the air.

"that's not the point! I want him to like me! I'm very like-able, I am right! hyunjin whined.

"just stop annoying him. you're giving a bad impression to him. but here he comes now with his friend. so do whatever you got to do tiger." woojin told. minho and woojin then waved goodbye, walking into the school.

seungmin and felix arriving near the gate. hyunjin stopped right in front of them, somewhat startling felix.

"you scared me!" felix yelled, hyunjin smiling nervously towards the boy.

"sorry..but good morning seungmin!! how's it going."

"it was going well until you popped up. if you don't mind, can you move out of the way? felix and i are in a hurry to go help jeongin with his homework."

felix nodded, "jeongin isn't much of a world studies person."

"now if you'll excuse us we have to-"

"hey felix was it?"

"yes?"

"well I had a question for seungmin about our english homework, I promise that he'll catch up with you in a bit. alright?" hyunjin then flashed a smile, felix unfazed by it he shrugged.

"whatever dude, I'll see you at jeongin's locker alright minnie?"

seungmin nodded and once felix left. seungmin's expression changed immediately. "first of all hyunjin, we don't have any homework for english."

"well first of all, I want to give you a nice and sincere apology. and also I want to take you out to get coffee or ice cream after school! to make up for everything."

the boy shaking his head as a no. he rejected his offer quickly without any hesitation. "look, I get your apology. sure I'll accept it. but you don't have to go that far for me just to like you."

"no buts. you can't reject me, I'm taking you out for ice cream after school!"

"I definitely can reject you, kim seungmin DOES NOT want to go out with you after school. that's final sweetie." seungmin then blasted off away. making his way to felix and jeongin. hyunjin watching his every step has he left.

"did I just see rejection towards the great hwang hyunjin!" chan shouted. hyunjin turned around quickly, seeing chan and changbin laughing their asses off once again.

"look this isn't funny!"

"you're right it isn't. the fact that changbin is forced to be tutored by a second year is more embarrassing."

"first of all. I suck at math, don't judge me. everyone has their weaknesses and math is just one of them." changbin pointed out. "but supposedly his name is felix and he's making me meet up with him at the nearby café."

"f-felix! that's seungmin's friend!" hyunjin then told, their was many thoughts running through his head and he snapped his fingers. "I'm coming with you after school to that cafe."

"and why?" changbin questioned.

"duh, so I can show seungmin that I'm a really nice guy." he hit his head and gave a derp expression.

chan sighed, "what's up with you and impressing this dude. it's not like he's gonna affect you in any way."

"i can't bear with someone hating me! or disliking me!"

"you're such a weirdo. let's just get inside the school before something else happens." chan then put his arms around changbin and hyunjin. making them following him into the school.
