there was silence as i laid in bed staring at the ceiling. it's what i do daily and it never seems to make me bored. somehow i stare and stare until i get a image of something on the rough surface either making me laugh a bit or just look at it weird.

i heard silent footsteps from the stairs making me sit up in happiness.
