After a while, Etana and Seiji let go of each other. „What are you going to do now?" Etana asked. „Are you going back?", „I can't go back..." Seiji whispered. „I want to be better... But I won't get better if I go back..." he sighed. „I wonder if there was a way to do so but I don't think so... But I have no where to go... Not with that curse of mine... I would be a danger to everyone around me..." Etana folded her arms. "It's not a curse, in fact... it's a gift.", "What?", "At least... if you know how to make use of it consciously." She stood up. "You are not the only person with strange powers... I have them too." Seiji slowly got up too. "You... have?", "Yeah..." She nodded. "Some others too..." She stretched out her fingers and shot sticky strings from them. "...That's like Spiderman", Seiji commented. Etana smiled slightly. "Yeah, kind of. But that's not the only power I have, tho...", "You got more than one?", "Yeah, it's pretty rare..." She touched Seiji's arm. "Raise your hand." Seiji shrugged when his arm raised itself without him wanting it. "What the-", "Control", she said. Then, she snapped with her fingers and Seiji could control his own arm again and take it down. "That's... scary... But... where do such powers come from? Humans aren't supposed to...", "No, indeed. But I am not a human..." Etana said and turned around to him. "Just like you aren't.", "What? That isn't true, I AM human!", "You once maybe were..." Etanas voice lowered itself. "...but now, you're not anymore.", "But I..." He wanted to protest, but then, he kept quiet. Instead, he remembered the night where he had woken up from the pain. After that, his eyes had changed color and this entire curse-thing had started. "When I am no longer a human..." he muttered softly and his voice was little more than a whisper. "...what does that make me?" Etana walked closer to him and leaned over before whispering in his ear: "...a demon."

Seiji's eyes widened and a shiver rattled down his spine. "A. . . D. . . It can't be..." Etana stepped back again. "It can", she said. Then, she pointed to one of the windows on the house walls. "Look inside.", "I, uh... I don't know if I... want...", "You don't have to be afraid. Come..." Etana reached for his hand as if to encourage him. Seiji hesitated intimidated before letting her lead him to the window. He looked inside. Saw his reflection. His red hair, interspersed with light blue streaks. Under his visible red eye, a curved black line was visible. Besides, his eyes fell on something else. Little white horns peeking out of his hair. He almost screamed. They really hadn't been there before. "...! Wa-", "Don't panic..." Etana put a hand on his shoulder. "You can hide them.", "H-how?", "You must want it.", "Huh?!", "Your body is at your will, Seiji. You must bend it to your will. And you can. Close your eyes." Seiji thought he had gone crazy, but he couldn't have imagined that much... never. "I... don't know if..." His heart was racing. Seiji hesitated before closing his eyes. 'Go away', he thought. 'Please just go away...' When he opened his eyes again, the horns were gone. "See?" Etana smiled. "All is well.", "Nothing is well..." He breathed out. "If all this is true, then... I am a..." He suppressed to say what he thought, but Etana seemed to know what he wanted to say. "...Monster?" He gritted his teeth and nodded imperceptibly. Etana scrutinized him. "...No", she said. "You're not a monster... Demons are not trust-worthy after all.", "Why do you think that?", "Isn't that what religion preaches every time?", "Don't believe that kind of crap..." She snorted. "You can trust me or you can't, you can come with me or stay here, but I can tell you you won't get through this alone." He kept quiet.
"You might be right..." he said after a while. "I can't do this alone... I've never been able to do anything on my own... Alone I would...", "Come with me", Etana said. "You can leave anytime, but you should at least give us a chance to show you that we are not evil...", "But... but what about... the devil? Is he real? If there are demons, I mean..." Etana was silent before she took a deep breath. "... Yeah, he really exists", she said then. "He's our leader, more or less, but.. He's not what you think he is." She stretched out her arm. "Open... Gate to Rauco." A shining light illuminated the surroundings as a portal opened. She took Seijis arm. "What is that?", "An interdimensional gate. We live on it's other side. Come." She went through it with him.

Seiji was fascinated from the bizarre world he saw. And he was fascinated about the little village they came past. Near a water spring stood a blonde-haired guy. As he saw them, coming, he turned his head. "...? Oh, somebody new?" Etana stopped. "Yeah. That's Seiji.", "Hi..." Seiji looked the blondie up and down. He was pretty much lacking size. "Hi. I'm Cayonim", the blonde-haired said. "...Hello, Cayonim...", "...?" Cayonim tilted his head. "Something wrong? You stare.", "Uh, sorry, I just... never saw someone of your...", "...size?" Cayonim folded his arms. "Yeah, I'm a dwarf. Sorry 'bout that.", "Yeaaaah, that makes you cute~" A big guy with black hair joined them. Seiji could literally see the black cloud above Cayo's head when he turned around. "Az. I am not cute, you fuckass.", "You just can't see yourself." Azra giggled. Cayonim cracked his knuckles. "I'm gonna electrocute you, you-", "Cayoooo!" Another blue-haired girl joined them. "What, Auroria?" he asked and looked at her. "C'mon, you're such a cute teddy bear, everyone wants to cuddle you." Cayonim blushed. "Excuse me, what the fu-", "Awww, look, he's blushing!", "LIKE HELL I AM!!", "Cayo, calm down. Your temper is as short as your legs, how about chillin'?" Azra asked. Cayonim turned around to him. "... Az.", "Who-oh...", "...run.", "Uh...", "I'M GONNA FREAKING KILL YOU!!!" Cayonim hissed and attacked Azra while lightning was flashing around him. Azra quickly ran away and Cayonim chased after him. Auroria laughed. "Hahaha..." Then, she noticed Seiji's look. "...You didn't expect that, right? They're crackheads, ignore that.", "Is that... usual?", "What?", "That they... try to murder each other?", "That happens once or twice per day..." she meant. "But that's just a sign of how much they like each other. Don't mind that." She went towards him. "I'm Auroria.", "Seiji...", "Welcome, boy." She smiled gently. "Sorry that these idiots overwhelmed you like this. I hope you're fine after all...?" Seiji kept quiet. That girl called him a boy. She didn't... taunt him because of how he looked? "You... I mean... you aren't joking about my... look?", "Uh?" Auroria tilted her head. "Uhm... should I?", "N-no, I mean... Many people mistook me for a girl...", "...Did they? Oh. Poor bean." She shrugged. "No, I am not joking about that. That's not nice. And you don't need to be shy, you know. I mean, it's cute and all, but we won't bite you.", "Uh... thank you." Seiji tried a smile and it worked out pretty well. He felt like smiling for the first time. "Thanks for being so open.", "No biggie. Now then, see ya around~!" She waved and walked away. "...They seem nice", Seiji mumbled. Etana smiled. "Yeah. We're like... a big family.", "Family...?", "They're good friends. We don't have anyone else anymore, to be seriously honest. So..." She smiled. "It's a relief to have friends like them. They are a mess, but that makes the adventure. Now then, follow me. I am going to introduce Lucifer to you." She started walking again. Seiji walked after her and his insecurity returned. '...Lucifer, huh... The devil himself...'
