21⚡ Boss Bitch

I am not a BOSS BITCH,
            I'm a BOSS, bitch....

"What is Commissioner Jae doing here?" Soobin asked himself, narrowing his eyes as he watched the superior exiting from a room. Jae's behavior struck him as suspicious; the commissioner kept glancing in every direction, as if he were committing a crime and trying to avoid being seen.

Feeling a sense of urgency, Soobin quickly called Officer Jung and informed him about his new discovery. Hoseok listened intently and ordered him to follow the commissioner, instructing him to call for backup if the situation escalated. Without a moment to waste, Soobin left his drink untouched, the whiskey glistening in the glass as he traced Mr. Jae's steps through the crowded casino.

Meanwhile, S had changed back into her original attire. She wore a crisp white t-shirt under a fitted black leather jacket that accentuated her figure, paired with sleek black ankle-length jeans. Her hair was left loose, cascading down her back with a modern flair, the ends highlighted in a striking shade of purple that added an edge to her look. As she made her way through the casino, her presence commanded attention, effortlessly blending into the glamorous atmosphere while keeping her intentions hidden.

Arin and the other Titans followed their boss into the central portion of the casino. As she made her way through the crowd, people instinctively parted for her, the waiters who recognized her identity bowing in respect.

Sri's strides halted abruptly when she spotted a familiar brunette. A girl leaning close to Taehyung, playfully toying with the collar of his shirt. To her disbelief, the doctor seemed to enjoy the interaction. Her jaw clenched in anger. How dare she touch my... The thought nagged at her, uncertain how to label him in that moment.

Arin smirked at the scene, knowing all too well that Taehyung was about to face the wrath of S. He let out a low whistle and casually made his exit from the casino, guards flanking him, leaving the duo behind.

Sri snatched a glass of wine from the nearest patron and stomped toward Taehyung. In one swift motion, she poured the light orange liquid over the girl's head, the wine cascading down her hair and soaking into her semi-transparent dress.

"What the fuck?!" the girl exclaimed, rising in annoyance. The dress clung to her body, accentuating her curves and revealing that she wasn't wearing a bra. Sri scowled; she loathed women who sold their bodies for petty cash. This one was definitely an outsider in her casino.

"Find a dog to fuck. There are many in the streets," S spat, her voice cutting through the silence of the hall. Gasps echoed as the audience absorbed the unfolding drama, each person eager for the spectacle.

Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise at Sri's aggressive demeanor. He had witnessed some of her worst moments but had never seen her so unapologetically possessive. A smirk crept across his lips; he found her jealousy oddly thrilling. This is a nice change, he mused, his heart racing at the confrontation.

"How dare you? You whore!" the girl retaliated, her anger boiling over as she raised her hand, ready to slap.

Sri caught the girl's hand mid-air, stopping the impending slap. "Don't do something you might regret..." she warned, her voice cold and commanding. In one fluid motion, she kicked the girl's kneecap, sending her crashing to the floor before S's feet. "This is your correct place."

Kneeling to match the girl's level, Sri locked her dark orbs onto the girl's hazel ones. The shift in Sri's expression was palpable; the badass facade melted away to reveal a far more menacing threat. The smirk that once danced on her lips was replaced by a tense twitch of her facial muscles.

She leaned in closer, her voice a chilling whisper in the girl's ear. "I'll kill you if I ever see you in front of me again." The threat was icy, sending a wave of fear coursing through the girl. She knew she had picked a fight with the wrong person.

As Sri stood back up, the girl looked up, trembling. "I-I'm sorry," she stammered, panic etched across her face.

"You better be," Sri replied curtly, grabbing Taehyung's hand and striding out of the casino with an air of finality.

Once they had left, the girl slowly regained her composure, needing the bar for support as her knees shook from the residual fear. The atmosphere in the casino shifted, breaking out into hushed whispers. Confused, she glanced at the bartender, seeking an explanation.

"She is S, the queen of Titans and the owner of this casino," he informed her, his tone filled with a mixture of awe and fear. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks, and she began hyperventilating, unable to process that she had just encountered the country's living nightmare. The trembling in her body intensified until someone draped a jacket around her soaked shoulders, pulling her back to reality.

"You are not allowed to talk to any other girls," Sri warned, her tone firm and unyielding.

"Why? Is that a crime?" the brunette shot back defiantly. "It should be fine as long as I remain in your custody."

"No means no! I will decide what to do. I brought you here to get some fresh air, not to fuck the girls!" she fired back, her irritation evident.

"Excuse you! I was just talking to her as a friend. And why are you so bothered?"

"Sure! Getting seduced is what you call 'friendly'?" Sri retorted, crossing her arms.

"Are you probably jealous?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, teasing her.

"Does a psychopath feel jealousy?" Sri replied bluntly before turning away and striding toward the car, leaving Taehyung momentarily stunned. He had expected her to be fiery, but this response caught him off guard.

Arin opened the back door of the car with a wide grin, clearly pleased with the exchange. He was happy to see Sri angry at Taehyung. The bastard, oops, doctor, deserves it. However, she didn't spare him a glance and boarded the car without hesitation.

Taehyung was about to get in when Arin, quick on the draw, pushed him aside and slipped into the seat next to Sri, clearly relishing the chance to be closer to her.

"Move over," Taehyung muttered, rolling his eyes. He would love to punch the kid if he ever got the chance. Not wanting to sit beside the annoying orange-haired one, he opted for the passenger seat instead, muttering under his breath as he buckled in.

......

Soobin followed the commissioner's car on his motorbike, his head covered by a black helmet that rendered him unrecognizable. The commissioner was driving to an unknown location, heading in the opposite direction from his house.

"Make sure you adjust the button camera properly." Hoseok's voice crackled in his earpiece.

"Yes, Sunbae."  He checked the second button of his shirt to confirm.

"Very well. I will stay in touch with you. Keep me updated."

The call disconnected. As he rode, Soobin could hear the sea waves crashing against the shore on his right. The moonlight sparkled on the white foams, creating an eerie glow. After driving for about an hour, Mr. Jae finally took a sharp right turn and parked his car on the beach.

Soobin waited, his heart racing as he observed the commissioner getting out. He parked his bike and sprinted toward him. The sight before him was unsettling—an old fish factory loomed ahead, its tin and iron structure appearing menacing under the moonlight. He watched as Commissioner Jae grabbed the rusty door handle, then abruptly glanced around to check if  he was being followed. Soobin ducked behind a large tin shade, holding his breath.

Once he was sure no one else was present, Mr. Jae pushed the door open and slipped inside. Soobin quietly crept toward the entrance, the roaring sea still audible behind him. He turned his head and caught sight of a distant ship and a lifeboat on the shore. Someone else was likely inside.

Though curiosity tugged at him to investigate the boat, he couldn't risk losing sight of Mr. Jae. Steeling himself, he stepped inside the factory. The stench of rotten fish assaulted his senses, and he nearly gagged as he surveyed the scene. Blood stained the floor, and he couldn't tell if it was from fish or something far worse. The dim lighting made the high ceiling and the massive iron chains hanging from it look even more foreboding. A few tattered fishermen's shirts hung in one corner, swaying gently as if to mock the eerie atmosphere.

Suddenly, faint whispers reached his ears. Soobin gripped the knife in his pocket, heart pounding in his chest as he approached the source of the voices. He wished for a gun, but his had been confiscated. Police were not allowed to carry firearms while suspended, and he cursed the higher-ups for their rules. He might die today because of their bullshit.

His cautious steps led him through the door, revealing the faces of the speakers. One was Commissioner Jae; the other was unfamiliar—a man with a white-black beard, wearing a blue tuxedo, his hair neatly combed. A couple of bodyguards loomed nearby. Soobin crouched behind a large tin trunk, straining to hear their conversation.

"This is the best product manufactured this year," the commissioner stated, his tone formal but tinged with urgency.

The gang leader took the brown bag and ordered his men to open it. He inhaled the contents deeply, a satisfied smile creeping across his face. "I like it. We look forward to buying more products from your boss."

Soobin's ears perked up at the mention of 'boss.'

"Thank you, sir. Please make your payment and leave as soon as you can. I noticed some cops around," the commissioner urged, bowing slightly.

"Soobin, what do you see? Why isn't the camera showing anything?" Hoseok's voice suddenly startled him.

"It's because I'm crouching. I can see the commissioner handing over a bag to a man. There's a boat on the shore and a ship at some distance." He struggled to keep his voice low, tension mounting in his chest.

Hoseok paused for a moment before responding. "Can you describe the man?"

"He's tall, with white skin. White-Black beard, neatly combed hair. He looks like a gangster. They're discussing some kind of business."

"Oh my God!" Hoseok gasped on the other end. "Get out of there right now!  My I am not wrong, that's America's fearsome drug lord and the leader of CupidX Gang, Hardin Steel. You can't take him on alone! Just get out of there, NOW!"

"I get it, Sunbae—" Soobin began, but he was abruptly cut off by a voice.

"Who is there?!"

"Stop the car," S ordered the driver. He complied, parking in front of an old warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Taehyung frowned, glancing uneasily at the back seat.

Arin hopped out of the car, followed closely by Sri. Just as Taehyung reached for the door handle, he realized it was still locked.

"Take him home," Sri instructed the driver, who immediately revved the engine.

"Why? What's going on? Why aren't you two coming with me?" Tae protested, his voice laced with confusion and concern. Sri ignored him, striding away without a backward glance.

Arin stepped over to Taehyung, a teasing smile on his face. "We just have a little affair to handle. We'll meet you back at the mansion." He winked before rushing off to catch up with Sri.

The driver sped away, the tires screeching as Taehyung's protests faded into the distance. He watched the figures of Arin and Sri shrink in the rearview mirror, standing alone in the middle of the fog-shrouded road.

With a growing sense of unease, Taehyung turned to look back, curiosity gnawing at him. They were almost invisible now, the mist enveloping them. The last thing he saw before the car took a sharp left turn, cutting off his view, was a glint of metal—someone attacking Sri with a knife.

Was it interesting?

No? *jumps off a cliff* Bye- 😀
