"This is a nice room" said jack

       "there's only two beds? one of us Is going to have to sleep of the floor" said Rose

"I only need a few hours of sleep so I'll take the floor" said the doctor

        "Seriously hmm I didn't know that, how many hours?" asked Rose

" about two to three" answered the Doctor

Rose looked surprised, she didn't know that. Then she was distracted by the view of the ocean as the rooms were on the lower levels, out the windows was the underwater world of Populus. Rose saw the mermaid that had waved at her in reception again, she was so fascinated by them. 

"they're beautiful" said Rose with wide eyes

       "yes they are!" said Jack

  "Oi, stop it" said The Doctor

       "I'm only saying they look nice" said Jack

The Doctor didn't look right at all, he was pale and he couldn't breathe, he looked like he was going to fall over just by touching him.

"Doctor are you alright, you look really pale?" asked Rose who looked worried she'd never see him like this before and it scared her.

        "I'm fine, I just ......." He collapsed

"Doctor!" shouted Rose

Rose and Jack tried everything to wake him up but their efforts yielded no results, he just laid their, he looked dead...... but he was breathing which was a good thing at least. then Jack remembered he had a Medical scanner, he scanned the Doctor and what he found was odd, odd indeed.

"Jack what's wrong with him?" asked Rose

       "I don't know the scanner doesn't recognise him, as a person, somethings interfering with it."  "what do you know about him?" he asked

"Umm, he has two hearts, he's telepathic, he regenerates and Uhh, he has two spleens." answered Rose

      "OF COURSE he's telepathic its his mind, its interfering with the scanner.........He has two spleens?"

" yes, how can his mind interfere with a machine?" asked Rose

       " I don't know that's what scares me." said Jack

What Jack and Rose didn't know was that the Doctor was having a vision of the future. Its a power all Time Lords have the power to see what was, what is, what could be and what must not. The Doctor was seeing Jack and Rose walking on the beach and the mermaid that Rose waved at in reception swam by, so he knew that the vision was of them here and now on Populas.

The Doctor's pov

"I'll be back in a minute I forgot my phone" shouted Jack

       "Okay I'll wait here" Rose shouted back 

A few seconds later Rose asked " OW what was that????"

Rose felt a sharp pain on her neck, turns out she was hit with a tranquiliser dart, she fell to the ground. The next thing the Doctor saw was Rose tied to a chair, still out of it, in some sort of a hut and a hooded figure was standing over her. The hooded figure pulled Rose's head back by her hair and another hooded figure came out of nowhere and shot her with a Blaster, she disintegrated. Just like that Rose Tyler was dead

ROSE AND JACK'S POV

"AWWW  OWW my head" whined the Doctor

      "Doctor you alright?" asked Rose

"you gave us quite a scare" said Jack

Jack had lifted the Doc onto one of the beds just to keep him comfy, while he was out cold.

"I'm fine, I'm fine what happened? asked the Doctor

        " Don't you remember? You collapsed and we couldn't wake you, You scared the hell out of me.... What happened are you okay?" said Rose with a worried look on her face

"Oh, sorry for scaring you, I don't know I've been feeling off ever since I walked through the door, had a gut feeling that's all, I'm okay no need to worry"

The Doctor stood up and Rose hugged him, she'd never been so worried about him before,

       "Don't you ever do that to me again, okay?" said Rose

"I'll try not to, promise"

Although she knew he couldn't keep the promise, she still felt safe with him.

"Right who's up for exploring?"
