You are a little bit away from the TARDIS one day while The Doctor does something. You are sitting on a tree stump in a wooded area waiting. All of a sudden, a cute, brown pug puppy wobbles up to you. It yips and nips at your pant leg playfully. It has no collar. "You poor thing, Do you not have an owner." You say, petting the dog. It just looks at you and whines. "Oh! Let's get you some food!" You say, picking up the puppy. You walk to the nearest Pet Co and get the puppy a small bag of dog food,a TARDIS blue collar, and a matching leash. "Awwww. who's the cute little pug? You are!" You say to the dog after putting its collar on it. "I've gotta keep him!" You think. You walk the puppy back to the tree stump and wait. "Hmm." You think and hide the dog in the small backpack you are wearing, leaving a hole so the dog can breathe as the TARDIS materializes in front of you. "Hey (y/n), You alright?" The Doctor says. "Yeah, just bored." You say. "Well let's go then!" The Doctor says. You stand up and walk towards the TARDIS. As you reach the doors, the puppy starts squirming around in your backpack. "Just hold on!" You think. When you get inside you go straight to your room and shut the door. "Here ya' go." You say, letting the puppy out of the bag. The puppy runs around the room and lets out a rather loud yip. "Shhhhh! I'm keeping you secret for a little bit!" You whisper to the playful pug. "Everything alright?" The Doctor calls. "Yeah, just fine!" You call back. The rambunctious pug knocks over a nightstand. "Um
(y/n), you sure?" The Doctor says again, but more suspiciously. "I AM PERFECTLY FINE!" You call back. After that, the pug sniffs at the door. "Oh, you want out do you?" You ask. You know letting it out will immediately make The Doctor notice it, but not letting it out will make the dog sad. "Here ya' go." You say, opening the door. It yips happily and runs, of course, straight to the room The Doctor is in. When you get to the room, you see the pug crazily sniffing and licking The Doctor's face and him sitting in a chair, half laughing, half trying to keep the puppy from licking him in the mouth. "I think he can tell that you're not human." You say. "Ya' Think!?" The Doctor laughs. The pug then climbs onto the top of The Doctor's head and starts messing up his already wild hair. "Well, at least he's not chewing on my Converse." The Doctor laughs, raising a red shoed foot. "I WAS trying to keep him a secret." You laugh. "No need! I couldn't possibly LEAVE a dog like this!" The Doctor says, reaching up to pet the puppy. In result it play nips his hand with sharp puppy teeth. "So name?" The Doctor asks as the pug returns to the floor. "I was thinking that he looks like an Ian." You say, picking him up with a smile. "No, not annoying enough!" The Doctor laughs, obviously making a reference to somebody. "He also kinda seems like an Andy, no, or Aiden, no, or.....A.....Ai......Ad........" You stammer, knowing that the dog just has to have an "A" name. "How about Adric?" The Doctor asks. "YEAH! You like it.....Adric?" You ask the puppy. "It gives a confirming yip and play nips you. "Adric it is then!" The Doctor says, petting the dog. The Doctor then looks at you and says," You know, I've always been one for K-9s."
