,,Ready to meet new people?" Stephen asked and was ready to open the door.

Emily shook her head and smiled nervously. ,,No."

,,Okay. Here we go." Stephen said and opened the door.

Emily saw a lot of people standing outside. Men and women. A lot of men. She blushed. Some of them were very handsome, she had to admit. Like that one with long blonde hair and that guy next to him with black hair. Or-

,,Avengers, guardians and everyone between, I'd like to introduce Emily Black, my student." The doctor said. Everyone turned to Emily and that made her blush. That much of attention was definitely not for her.

,,Hey." She said shyly and waved to everyone.

,,Hi!"

,,Hello!"

,,How are you?"

They seemed to be very friendly and nice.

,,Hello, I'm..." The long haired blonde guy looked at Stephen for a second. The sorcerer nodded. ,,...Thor." He finished his sentence. ,,And this is my brother Loki." He turned to the black haired guy behind him. Loki was arguing with a...raccoon?

Thor coughed and Loki turned to him. He saw Emily and smiled nervously.

,,Yeah, he is a jerk sometimes." Thor said and earned a poke from Loki. Emily laughed and moved forward, leaving two friendly brawling brothers behind.

,,Hi, I'm Wanda...Scarlet Witch and this is Vision." A woman with long red hair said to her with a friendly smile and pointed at a man standing next to her. Emily waved to both of them.

She is so beautiful. I wonder what kind of powers she has?

Then, a man bumped onto her. Luckily, Wanda caught her and sent an angry look to someone. ,,Clint, please tame yourself!"

,,But it was Quill!" Emily saw a man in black with a bow and arrows and then a man, Quill, who was laughing. Then he smiled naughtily and said hi.

,,My name is Quill aka the Star-Lord." He introduced himself and bowed down, a naughty smile still on his face.

,,You stupid jerk." Someone said and a green woman pushed Quill away. ,,Go and act like a five-year-old if you want."

Quill laughed and ran away, probably trying to catch that Clint named man.

,,He is like a baby." Green woman said. She had purple and black hair and wore black clothes and boots. ,,I'm sorry." She apologized. ,,And nice to meet you. My name is Gamora." She offered Emily her hand.

Emily accepted it. ,,Emily Black." She wanted to say something else too but was cut off by shouting.

,,GEEEET OUUUT THE WAAAY!" Someone screamed. Everyone started to look around and Emily saw one elder man with glasses sighing. Then, something fast flew past her quickly. Emily heard a thump and then, a few seconds later, an apologizing voice said,
,,I'm so sorry Mister Stark. I tried to be fast but-"

,,You were too fast, yes, I saw. We all saw." The man who had sighed said.

,,That's Tony Stark. Iron Man. And that young boy is Peter Parker aka the Spider-Man." Wanda whispered.

Emily smirked. The doctor had told her a little bit about the Spider-Man and Iron Man

Everyone giggled.

,,So-" Peter started but Tony Stark cut him off.

,,This is Emily Black." He said, nodding at her and Peter turned around to see her.

,,Hello, hi, yeah...God. It's nice to meet you." He was funny and very clumsy.

,,Let me guess, you don't have very good experience with women?" Emily asked, smiling. She was feeling more and more comfortable in this company.

Peter shrugged. ,,Yeah..." He rubbed his nape and smiled nervously.

When Tony was sure that Peter and Emily won't hear him, he asked, ,,So, Strange, what's up with...this?" He kept his eye on Peter and Emily. They seemed to get along very well.

,,What do you mean?"

,,That whole teaching thing, and how can she even enchant like you?" Tony was confused now.

,,I taught her all this." Stephen said while looking at Emily who seemed to get along with everyone very well. ,,Actually, I found her on the street. Alone. And took her home. One day, she accidentally discovered me while I was practicing my fighting skills and that's how it went."

,,Yes, but still, how?"

Stephen turned to Tony and frowned. ,,What makes you think that I'll tell you?"

,,I just-"

,,I won't tell you."

,,I just think that are you ready for this?" Tony asked. ,,Me and Peter-"

,,Look." Stephen was angry now. How dare is he to compare his life to Stephen's? Those are totally different things. ,,Don't compare your and Parker's father-son relationship with my and Emily's master and student relationship. Got it?"

Tony backed a bit. ,,Yes. Jesus, calm down." His eyes moved around and stopped at Steve Rogers who talked with Thor and Ant-Man. Their conversation seemed to be about something serious and Tony walked to them and asked,

,,What's going on?"

,,He is coming." Thor said right out. Everyone else nodded.

,,Who?" It was Stephen who had quietly appeared next to Tony.

,,Thanos." Thor replied. ,,And he'll be here within one-two days."

,,So we don't have much time." Steve said. ,,The guardians already know about this and Mantis tried to find the fighting place. She kinda found something but I'll deal with this later."

,,So now everyone knows. Good. Then we will be ready when he comes."

,,Where's Barnes?" Tony asked.

,,Coming. He will be here." Steve said. Bucky was still a sensitive topic for them.

Tony nodded. ,,Good. We will need him."

,,Wait, nobody didn't talk about fighting!" Ant-Man interrupted.

,,We will fight. I know Thanos. He isn't into talking."

,,Steve's right." Thor said. ,,And he has the Soul Stone. Now he is after the Time Stone."

Everyone looked at Stephen.

The doctor said, ,,Emily is ready."

,,What?" Tony pressed trough his teeth. ,,You are going to drag her into this? A fight? A sorceress who doesn't have really any idea about her powers? No way."

,,It's not your business at all." Stephen said, surprised by Tony's sudden anger. ,,She is my student and I know that she's ready. Besides, what did you do differently with Parker?" Stephen glanced at Emily.

Tony rolled his eyes.

Emily had already noticed while speaking to that Rocket Raccoon animal that few men stood kinda isolated and talked about something. Something important. She wanted to know what, so badly. She said bye to Rocket and walked slowly to the bunch, hoping that they won't see her.

Suddenly, she felt that something touched her shoulder and she almost screamed. Wincing, Emily turned around and saw one man with a metal arm? This was getting weirder and weirder.

,,Hey. Don't better interrupt their conversation, afterwards, they'll be mad." He smiled friendly. ,,I'm Bucky Barnes and you are...Emily Black? That student of Doctor Strange?" He guessed.

,,Yes." Emily said, a little bit mad that he had stopped her.

,,Nice to meet you."

,,You too." Emily answered. That sweet smile. Emily didn't want to insult anyone but he was probably the nicest person she had met so far. He just had something that nobody else didn't. Except Stephen.

,,Come." Bucky offered. ,,Let's meet others too." He saw Emily's eyes quickly looking at the bunch and said, ,,Don't worry, Doctor Strange will probably tell you about that later." He smiled and Emily followed him even though she didn't really want to.

Emily met everyone and it was a very cool day. She liked Loki and Bucky very much. They were funny and awesome people. Bucky Barnes was a very friendly person and his metal arm seemed to be the coolest thing one hero could have. His hair touched his shoulders and he wore black leather clothes. At the end of the day, Emily understood that they had become very good friends. There was just something that connected them. Loki was naughty, funny and teased his brother Thor all the time. But, when needed, he could do a very serious face. Emily felt a shiver when she once looked at Loki while he was serious. Jeez.

,,So, how was the first impression of all of us?" Bucky asked in the evening when almost everyone had left and Stephen was still out, sending away Tony Stark and Peter Parker. Emily saw how a white sticky cobweb came out of Peter's aka the Spider-Man's hand and he pulled himself up with that and swung away while yelling goodbye. Okay, it was a little bit cool, she had to admit. She heard Tony sighing and starting to talk again with Stephen.

,,Good." Emily replied and laughed. ,,No, it was actually very cool. It was nice to get some new friends." Suddenly, she felt sad. Why, she didn't know.

An awkward silence landed between them.

Emily fidgeted. ,,So I guess we'll see soon?"

,,Yeah, I think." Bucky said and waved for a goodbye. ,,See you!"

,,See you!" Emily waved back and sent Bucky with her eyes. Stephen had just sent Tony away and turned around to walk to the bookshop when he and Bucky almost bumped into each other. Bucky was a little bit embarrassed but nodded to him. Stephen answered with a nod and walked into the bookstore, frowning.

Emily closed the door. ,,What is it?" She asked. Did she do something wrong? Or did Bucky?

But the doctor just shook his head and said, ,,Nothing. Come on, let's go and make some dinner." He smiled.

Emily forced herself to smile too but she knew that something was wrong with Stephen. He was usually serious or sincerely happy. But this wasn't him right now. He was...annoyed? Emily didn't know. She only kept her fake smile and followed Stephen to the kitchen.
