I just need to vent about my sister and her stupid-ass dance classes

My sister is a part of a local dance company, which I won't disclose the name of. They make the dancers wear makeup during recitals (and any performance, whether it's on stage or outside in an event)

Even the little kids. There was a little girl I saw in one of the pictures who looked four or five. Makeup was--I'm not exaggerating--CAKED onto her face. She had this dark eye shadow smeared all over her eyes, going up to practically her eyebrows, blood-red lipstick, too much eyeliner, WAY too much foundation, and so much blush and other makeup that it looked like her cheeks and eyes were sunken in.

And the recital outfits are pretty much made for sticks, or someone who was proportionately blown up from a stick. Since my sister's overweight, it fits awkwardly, and probably fits awkwardly on anyone who isn't a stick. Also, the costumes are VERY oversexualized. The skirts are short, and everything is made to be pretty damn tight.

Even the little kids have to wear the dumb-ass frilly tutus and shit. Whereas the few guys they have just wear T-shirts and sweatpants, basically.

And then there's the dances.

Dumb, cute in the case of little kids, but mostly just uncool. There's too much hip, chest, shoulder, etc. movement. It doesn't even look like dance sometimes.

The songs just emphasize the suckiness. They choose mainstream pop--i.e. Meghan Trainor, Nick Jonas, The Weeknd, etc.

And basically the whole thing sucks. But when I bring up that I don't want to go because I don't like watching little girls twerk (okay, that's exaggerating, but whatever...) my parents EXPLODE. They practically yell at me that I need to support my sister.

BUT WHAT THE FUCK HAS SHE EVER DONE TO SUPPORT ME?! Look at me without GAGGING?!

NOT constantly telling me to die--oh right she only says it SOMETIMES--or maybe not continually pointing out my bad points--wait, yes she fuckin' does.

Maybe she should do something other than PLAY ON HER PHONE during one of my events, then I'll consider not loathing recital time. BUT if I point OUT that she constantly plays on her phone during something for me, my parents also explode THEN.

Basically, if I say or do anything that my sister wouldn't say or somethings about my sister other than saying she's an angel and deserves to be a famous celebrity, I get SCOLDED.
