Waking up in his new apartment Baekhyun looks around smiling seeing nobody is fussing over him as soon as he wakes and he likes it.

Getting into his wheelchair he heads to his bathroom to do his morning routine before fixing himself breakfast. He warned his friends lastnight that he would meet them in college today and not to come over as he can do this by himself.

Once he is dressed and ready and feeling good he hears some noise outside his apartment door. Lowering his head a little he knows he was mean to the post box guy and should make it up to him . Opening the door to his apartment he sees post box guy struggling with books dropping some to the floor

" Oh shit sorry man told you I was clumsy" post box guy smiles nervously while moving his books out of Baekhyuns way.

" Chanyeol is it?" Baekhyun asks as Chanyeol stands up straight " yep clumsy Chanyeol "

" I want to apologize for slamming the door in your face lastnight and for being so rude towards you"

" Its ok man honestly " Chanyeol smiles making Baekhyun blush a little . There standing in front of him is this tall handsome dark haired guy struggling holding his books looking so good in an oversized grey hoodie and matching bottoms

" Can you except my apology?" Baekhyun says with a more softer tone

" I guess so " Chanyeol winks trying to be cool before dropping some books to the floor again.

" Morning people" another tall guys bursts into the hallway making them both jump .

" Sehun man shit you scared me " Chanyeol tries to hold his books and stop his heart from coming out of his chest.

" Baekhyun this is my best mate Sehun , Sehun say hi"

" Hey how's it going , your in my bio class right?" Sehun shakes hands as Baekhyun searches his mind to see if he remembers

" Aww yes you hide down the back " Baekhyun smirks as Sehun stands proud " yep that will be me "

" Ok so we are running late we need to move fancy heading to college with us Baekhyun?" Chanyeol holds his books close to his chest hoping not to drop them again waiting for the answer

" Yeah I'd like that and don't you have a locker ?" Baekhyun moves out the door first as the others follow

" Dumb ass had a locker with a key then he lost the key. They gave me a combo lock then he forgot the combination" Sehun teases as he walks beside Baekhyun while Chanyeol rolls his eyes behind them as they head towards college

" Can't you get a new one, or a bag ?" Baekhyun shouts over his shoulder towards the taller behind him

" Yeah should have a new locker today that's why I have all my books, as for the bag , bags and I don't get along that's another mornings story " Chanyeol walks proudly as he hasn't dropped any books yet since leaving the building .

" Baek" they turn hearing a voice as Kai runs across the road smiling .

" Oh who is that fine thing?" Sehun says with a lower voice making Baekhyun laugh

" Hey Kai, this is Chanyeol and Sehun. Chanyeol lives nextdoor and Sehun well I don't know" he smiles as Sehun keeps looking at Kai as if he is dinner

" Nice to meet you guys , hey how did last night go?" Kai walks along side his friend as Sehun steps back to walk with Chanyeol

" Oh man the gods have answered my prayers " Sehun whispers so only Chanyeol can hear while he checks out Kai from the back.

" Down boy he could be with someone " Chanyeol whispers back hoping they can't hear

" Don't say that and ruin my morning man " Sehun huffs while still staring at how Kai's body moves as he walks.

" Sehun seriously dude you look like a perv" Chanyeol stops to face the taller as Sehun closes his mouth " I felt like one, thanks man" they continue to walk following the others as they finally arrive at college

" Ok so bio is first would you like some company?" Sehun asks Baekhyun as Baekhyun says goodbye to Kai and that he will meet him at lunch . " Yes sure " they wave goodbye to Chanyeol and head off down the halls for bio

" So I'm a bit of a prick and don't think before I speak but here goes. Why are you in the wheelchair ?" Sehun just goes for it instead of hiding away from the question he needed to ask.

" Wow straight to the point I like it " Baekhyun smiles making Sehun relax a bit more

" I was in a car crash. The other driver was drunk and walked away from the crash with not a scratch on him. I ended up not being able to move from the neck down at first . After alot of weeks in hospital and being fussed over I got the feeling back everywhere except my legs "

" Oh man what a dick and he walks away with not a scratch " Sehun shakes his head side to side annoyed someone could get behind the wheel of a car drunk not even he is that stupid to do that.

" So can I ask is it just the legs or?" Sehun blushes knowing he may have just crossed the line

" You wanna know if my dick still works ?' Baekhyun says making Sehun turn bright red and nod

" Yes it still works" Baekhyun laughs as he rolls into their classroom

" So can they not do anything?" Sehun takes a seat at the table beside Baekhyun placing his books down

" They said they can but it's been too long now" Baekhyun just shrugs his shoulders and turns to face the teacher who walked into class.

As Sehun zones out the teacher his mind drifts off to the god he saw this morning. He could have sworn he saw him running in slow motion across the road towards him earlier. Shaking the idea from his head he scribbles a note on his text book and taps Baekhyun on the arm discreetly.

Is your mate with anyone?

Baekhyun tries to hide his smile as this is not the first time anyone has asked about Kai.

He would eat you alive    Baekhyun pushes the book back as Sehun scribbles back

I hope he does 

Baekhyun covers his face from not bursting out laughing hoping the teacher doesn't notice. Hoping that has stopped Sehun asking anymore he pays attention to the teacher hoping the day will go fast as he just wants to go home and chill alone .

Lunchtime

"Baek there you are how did lastnight go?" Jaehyun walks beside him as they find a seat

" It was fine and look I got here all by myself" 

"Baek don't be like that you know we worry. We where up the hospital nearly everyday with you so no teasing us please "

"I know I'm sorry Jaehyun"

"It's ok I'll let you away with it" Jaehyun nudges his arm as they both take out some homemade lunches

" That teacher sure can go on and on" Kai moans as he joins them by plopping down onto the chair in front of them and laying his head on the table

" What teacher is this ?" Jaehyun asked while eating his lunch

"Mr pain in my ass" Kai mumbles

"Aww history" Baekhyun  and Jaehyun say at the same time before laughing making Kai moan out more

" What's wrong with your friend?" Sehun now stands at the table looking down at the god he saw this morning

" History" Baekhyun says as Sehun just laughs  "oh yeah Mr have to know all dates to pass my class " Sehun mocks the history teacher making them all laugh

"Jaehyun this is Sehun he is friends with my neighbor"

"Aww nice to meet you don't we have business class together?" Jaehyun looks puzzled trying to remember if it is the guy who hides in the corner

" Aww yeah that's me I hide down the back in most my classes" Sehun says so proudly as he invites himself to sit with them for lunch

" I need to write an essay on world war 2 before I cause world war 3 by killing my history teacher " Kai says while lifting his head up from the table making the others just stare at him in shock

" That's no biggie Google it" Sehun says while crunching on some crisps

" He will kill me " Kai huffs as he tucks into his lunch finally

" Hey can I join ?" A deep voice speaks making them all look up to see Chanyeol holding his lunch

" Yeah sure go right ahead your mate here just sat with us so you may as well join too"
Kai says so sarcastic while looking at Sehun

" Oh baby you wanted me to sit here" Sehun says with a smirk towards Kai

" I ain't your baby" Kai says with a blush before he continues to eat

" Not yet" Sehun whispers in his ear making Kai glow a nice deep red across his face .

" I'm late for some class .......I can't remember bye" Kai moves from the table making them all look in wonder where he could be going when lunch lasts another 20 minutes

" I'll go see if he is ok?" jaehyun grabs his stuff and goes to find Kai

" I'll go ...see if I can do anything" Sehun also stands up and leaves as Baekhyun and Chanyeol are left alone at the lunch table

" Sooo" Chanyeol starts as Baekhyun doesn't know what to say

" Fancy an animal biscuit?" Chanyeol holds out a small bag

" A what ?"

" It's a biscuit with one side chocolate in the shape of an animal " Chanyeol says so proud as he pops one in his mouth

" I'm good thanks , aren't they for kids?"

" Why should the kids get all the good stuff " Chanyeol just keeps stuffing them into his mouth while looking at Baekhyun

" So I guess you got your locker ?" Baekhyun changes the subject as Chanyeol nods his head in delight

" So where are your books for after lunch ?" Baekhyun says as Chanyeol has a look of panic all of a sudden across his face.

"Shit I left them on top of my locker, crap I'll be right back" Chanyeol leaves his lunch and makes a run out of the cafeteria towards his locker as Baekhyun continues his lunch alone

A few minutes later Chanyeol returns with his books all happy they where still where he left them

" I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached" he continues to eat as Baekhyun starts to stare at the beauty sitting in front of him that is now taking off his hoodie to leave a white t-shirt on underneath. He wants to let out a moan when he sees Chanyeol's muscled arms with the odd tattoo.

" You ok?" Chanyeol snaps Baekhyun out of it making him just smile.

"Yeah all good " he says before drinking his water

" Baekhyun fancy doing something later ?"

" I'm not sure" Baekhyun starts to clean up this lunch and try clear his mind of the un pure thoughts he has of the taller

"Ok it's just Sehun and I usually have a movie night tonight and I was wondering if you wanna join us in my place right next door?"

" I'm not sure I think I'd rather be alone tonight. I'm trying to get used to living alone"

"Yeah sure no problem but if you change your mind drop in about 7 "

"Thanks but I'll pass" Baekhyun  places his empty lunch box into his bag and excuses himself from the table as he heads off to his next class.

Later that night

As Baekhyun sits on his sofa with his teddy on his lap he can't help but wonder what his doctor will say at his appointment tomorrow. He feels bad for keeping it away from his friends and family but he wants to go to at least one appointment alone.

He hears voices in the hallway making him look at the clock on the wall seeing it's nearly 7 and that must be Sehun and Chanyeol arriving for movie night.

Buzz buzz

Picking up his phone he sees a message from Kai

That dude Sehun is kinda cute and a massive flirt

I can only imagine he made you run off quick

He whispered in my ear I wasn't his baby yet .... Yet he thinks will be together

Well you're not dating anymore so why don't you go out with him ?

I don't know

He is cute

I know and so is Chanyeol ....speaking of Mr tall dark and handsome how are things there?, I see the way he looks at you

Really I never paid much attention

Yeah the way he looks at you when he knows your not looking is so cute

Oh stop Kai you think everyone falls in love like a movie plus I didn't even notice Chanyeol before in college

Guy can dream and yeah me either he is rather hot not to be noticed

Why don't you go date Sehun

Na I'll make him work for it

You're so cruel Kai

I know... anyway I best try start this essay before tomorrow

Talk tomorrow

Putting his phone down he starts to think is Chanyeol looking at him the way Kai said

'Na why would he go for me a guy in a wheel chair' Baekhyun can feel his blood boil making him angry and think about not being able to move at all

Grabbing his teddy he starts to cry all of a sudden into it hoping it will muffle the sounds

"Did you hear that ? Chanyeol pauses the tv and listens carefully

"I can't hear anything so you must be loosing it " Sehun continues to eat his popcorn as Chanyeol could have sworn he heard something

" I really thought I heard crying " Chanyeol frowns knowing he really did hear something and he isn't making it up

"Na it's probably just the background noise in the movie " Sehun says making Chanyeol sit back and relax

"Yeah I guess so"

Chanyeol turns back in up the sound but can't help but this is it Baekhyun Crying
