"It was the reason I followed you. The reason I always took your side or raced with you, I wanted to get to know you. I read your journal... I joined the team because of you. Because I kept picturing you around... Being loved.." Thad confessed. " Half of my DNA came came from you. I'm an experment, made for onw purpose. Hurting them...  Cisco had it right when he called me the Reverse John Connor. " He couldn't look Nora in the eye after Sherloque broke the news, after Barry forced her back to the future.  Leaving him in the present the pipeline for a few days... He thought it was a dream when she came back.

"That's why you called me mom that day in training..." When Nora brought up that incident Thad recalled perfectly the reactions everyone gave. Amusement, and silence from everyone in the room when the words came out of his mouth. He sped out of the room after Killer Frost laughed and his entire face turned red. He spent the next hour and a half in the time vault regretting what he blurted out, fearing that he accidentally gave away the biggest secret.  He felt lucky afterward when no one connected the dots at first, it became a joke.

"Every time I saw you.. I saw you smile, when you were kind to me.. I thought I could have it. That role, the child from the future your just getting to know... A parent who cares. I was asking too much. Wanting something I never deserved...." Tears filled his eyes but what came next made him freeze.

She had her arms around him, hugging him."..You wanted the same thing I did.. You aren't weak, pathetic for this.. Your human, your a better person. You didn't hang on to what was planned, you followed your heart...and whenever you want. You call me mom.."

"A-are you sure?" He was conflicted between confused and amused...

"I've never been more sure.." She kissed his forehead.
