The day had finally come... after Robin and Maria waiting years until their guardians considered them old enough, it was the wedding. Maria worked herself into a frenzied nervousness that morning by racing all over the manor to fix the slightest details. Her nervousness spilled over into her designated time for Loveday to fix her hair in a fancy updo. "What if he changes his mind? What if he thinks its too early? I mean, we are only nineteen, well almost nineteen. But still... What if I get nervous and want to wait? What if... I don't know... Robin contracts a fever and can't come and he dies!"

Loveday simply smiled knowingly and continued to work, trying not to bump Maria with her swollen belly. "First of all, hold still, I don't want to accidentally stab you in the head with one of these pins and ruin your lovely dress. Secondly, you know Robin loves you, and I would hope you know that you love Robin. Also, the two of you have been through a lot in your lives for such a young age, and those things have matured you enough to be able to take the next step and marry the one you love. Lastly, the chances of Robin contracting a fever and dying this afternoon are nonexistent. It wouldn't happen. Just put your worries to rest and calm down a little but."

"But-"

"No 'buts,' just calm down and let yourself breathe." Maria decided to listen to the advice of her step-aunt. Breaths steadying to a normal rate, she could feel herself calming down. She looked at her dress in the mirror. The bodice had a lacy white design covering it. A strip of white satin formed a belt, silky waves of material flowing under it and forming the skirt. Ok. I can do this. I got shot in the shoulder for this boy. My nerves were steady then, I can do this.

For awhile, Robin paced around the room Benjamin had let him get dressed in so he wouldn't need to traverse the woods in a tuxedo. His nerves were frayed seemingly beyond repair. Would she want to back out? What if she thought they were too young? What if she didn't really love him? Maybe it was just an illusion and they only thought they loved each other.

Wanting to get his mind off of his doubts, Robin sauntered to the hedge maze. Maria eventually taught him to reach the center. A faint smile played on his lips as the ghostly whispers of his memories walked into the hedge maze, talking and laughing. Once in the center, Robin walked to where the hole in the hedge was when he fell through on Benjamin and Loveday's wedding night. The hedge still hasn't completely grown back yet. He sat on the very same bench he sat with Maria a little over a year ago. He remembered the way she gazed at him while they danced in the moonlight, the way he felt holding her in his arms. With the reminisces of moment shared with Maria on his mind, Robin slowly stood and walked back toward the manor. It was time.

Okay, I know I haven't posted in three months but I'm really sorry. A lot has happened and my life has been crazy. I just got back from an overnight couples conference my church hosted because I went with a family to babysit their six year old son. Anyways, I got back and wanted to check my notifications on Wattpad. I was entirely blown away by all the votes I got. Plus, i have almost four thousand views which made me super happy. Also, I'm dedicating this chapter to two people, @taylor1184 because her comments made me laugh when I saw them a while back and @lucky35_panda because all her amazing comments motivated me to update even though I'm about to fall asleep. Btw I hope there are no spelling errors. Well this chapter is kind of fluff but I should update the next chapter (aka Robin and Maria's wedding) soon. Love all my readers. Vote and comment if you liked.
