The girl standing on the edge of the cliff proclaimed, "On the 5000th moon, I, Maria Merryweather, moon princess of Moonacre Valley, lift this curse and free this valley. Take back what is yours." She threw the pearl necklace out towards the sea. It hung suspended in the air for a second, but flew back to the girl. Maria broke the necklace and again threw the pearls to the sea. They flew back and embedded themselves in her dress. She knew what she had to do. She had to sacrifice herself to save the valley.
Robin saw her small, sad smile, but understood its meaning a second too late. "No, Maria! No!" But it was too late. One small step was all it took, and she plunged over the edge. Robin ran to the cliff and fell to his knees just in time to see the girl he had grown to love plunge into the murky sea far below.
Maria let the sea engulf her. She didn't try to escape its rushing water. She allowed herself to be dragged to the ocean floor. The pearls fell from her dress, and she was lost to dark world of unconsciousness.
The figures standing by the cliff's edge were startled when a blinding flash of light shot across the valley and a tidal wave rise up from the horizon. They could make out horses, white horses, rising up out of the foamy water. There was one horse, bigger than the rest that outdistanced them.
Robin couldn't be sure, but he thought he saw the dark shape of a girl on its back. Then, suddenly the wave crashed against the cliff with a tremendous roar. Water shot up in the air, drenching all those who stood there. When the water fell back to the ocean, they saw the horse that was, in fact, a unicorn. It was as pure white as moonlight, and laying on its back was Maria. She sat up slowly and looked around her.
"My sweet child!" Her uncle Benjamin ran up and embraced her. Maria hugged him, then turned Robin, who was standing a few feet away.
"Were you worried, Robin?" She teased
"No, anyone could've done that." was the indignant reply. Robin's sister who was standing next to him let out exclamation of playful rebuke and good-naturedly smacked the back of his black bowler hat.
Robin watched as Loveday walked up to Benjamin and began talking with him. He looked away in disgust when thu started to kiss. He looked at the entrance to the amphitheater and saw one of his father's men standing there.
"I will finish her now," he declared, pointing a gun at Maria. Couer de Noir's protested were ignored, but the man never had a chance to shoot his gun. Miss Heliotrope, who seemed to appear out if nowhere, kicked the man down the steps. This incident shook everyone up, but apprehension was replaced by joy.
"Will you marry me?" Benjamin asked Loveday. She, of course, said yes. Miss Heliotrope asked something about a wedding. Digweed mumbled something to her that made her blush, and he held her hand.
An unearthly roar shook the ground and brought the two couples back to reality. A large black lion stood at the top of the steps.
"Don't worry," Maria calmly stated. "It's only Wrolf." At this, the lion silently padded to the unicorn that was still standing at the edge if the cliff.

Yes I realize that this is the end of the movie, but I needed to do this to introduce part 2. Sorry I would've posted sooner but my iPod was messed up. Don't worry, it's all better now 😄. Bye for now.
