Sebastian stood in front of Santana holding the Wham! Top hits CD, feeling a little embarrassed as he doesn't listen to the band nor does he like them, and to put it lightly he despises Santana a lot, Santana and Brittany both he tolerated them for Quinn's sake. Santana looked at Sebastian and said
"I didn't know you would be town still." Sebastian really didn't want to talk to her, and Sebastian knew Santana wouldn't have known as they aren't friends, they only hung because of Quinn. Santana kept the conversation going not knowing Sebastian actually wanted it to end.
"No-one is town. Everyone is off in the Bahamas and Florida, but not in town." Sebastian zoned as she kept talking
"I'm actually trying to find something for my sister for Christmas. She's into singing." Sebastian then thought it may as well as be polite to talk
"Yeah I remember that she is." Santana then remembered about her party and said
"Listen about my Christmas Eve party that I host every year, I would have invited you to it I thought it would be awkward and weird, but if you want to come to the party since you are in town and everything." Sebastian didn't want to go, he didn't want to spend another Christmas Eve with Santana and Brittany, he thought of an idea and said
"I would love to but my dad is actually taking me to Europe tomorrow." Santana was surprised and said
"Europe?" Sebastian was pleased that she actually brought it and said
"Yeah apparently it's meant to be amazing in December." Santana wasn't sure if Sebastian was being serious and said
"Well it's too bad, Quinn is coming." Sebastian was quiet he didn't know how to reply, he hadn't seen Quinn in so long, well since she broke up with him and said
"Quinn is back?" Santana smiled and said
"Yeah she is, but only for holidays before she goes back to Brazil." It was then Santana saw the Wham! Top Hits CD and the My Fair Lady Vinyl record. she looked at the CD and the Vinyl in Sebastian's hands and then at him and Sebastian didn't know how he was going to get out of it, especially with Santana, and she said
"Is there anything Quinn should know and worry about?" Sebastian looked at them and said
"tell her I'm interested in different things." Santana was confused and was about to leave when Sebastian
"Santana wait, this is for your sister." He hands her the Barbra Streisand album and said
"It's Barbra Streisand's most popular album, I'm sure your sister would love it." Santana accepted the CD and then walked. Sebastian was pleased and delighted when she walked away. He opened up the notebook and started piecing the clues together, and read if girls aren't on your spectrum put the book back, but if you've made it this far you're obviously very clever, are you brave? Sebastian was confused when all of sudden a piece of paper dropped on the floor. He bent down to pick it up, he opened it and saw that it was lyrics to the Wham! song. Sebastian will admit that he does secretly like the song but the band. He stood up and walked to the microphone that was situated at the front of the store. He stood there and said
"I've been asked to read a song. apologies to Wham!" Sebastian took a deep breath when he got everyone's attention and spoke

Just as Sebastian finished the second verse, the microphone was turned off, by Puck and Sebastian turned to him and said frustrated
"I wasn't finished." Puck looked at him and said
"Yes you are. You go the last clue from the second word of the first two verses." Puck then walked away leaving Sebastian even more confused. He walked over to the closet table and pieced all the clues together and read Will you be alone on Christmas? Sebastian read the question over and over again and he didn't know. He then read what was underneath it The next step is up to you. Leave me a message telling me how this time of year makes you feel, and if I like your answer you might hear from me. If you're not scared that is.
Sebastian closed the book walked up to the counter and said
"Who is she?" Puck couldn't let on that it was his cousin Rachel, he was not at lability to say. he was sworn to secrecy. Puck sighed and said
"If I knew I couldn't tell you and I wouldn't, you have to put the book back so someone else can play." Sebastian not satisfied with his answer walked away ignoring Puck's calls and thought I'm not scared Broadway, I'm hooked and intrigued. Sebastian knew there is only person who could help him. He walked to Breadstix down the road avoiding carolers and people carrying trees. He walked inside Breadstix and was immediately greeted by his best friend Thaddeus Harwood, or just Thad who worked there.
Thad saw him walk in from behind the counter and said
"Dude, you're going to Europe, and you didn't tell me?" Sebastian stopped and was now worried about who told his best friend. Sebastian then knew it had to have been Santana and said
"Let me guess Santana told you."
"Yeah, she messaged and said you were acting weird. well weird even for you." Sebastian leaned on the counter and didn't know what to say but was also worried at what else Santana had said, Sebastian nervously asked
"Did she say anything else?" Thad walked out from behind the counter and said
"Just so you know, I love that band and musical too." Sebastian chuckled and said
"Thanks Harwood, but I still don't like Wham! or My Fair Lady, and I'm not going to Europe, I'm just trying to avoid everyone over the break and the holiday." Thad was worried and said
"Even me?" Sebastian could never avoid his best friend and said
"No man, I need you for the food and coffees." Thad laughed and then walked back behind the counter and Sebastian said
"For your Christmas with your family you have to let me know when you open your presents." Thad was confused and said
"Why, do I have to tell you Smythe?" Sebastian smirked and said
"Because I helped your mum pick your present." Thad then became excited and said
"Now you have to give me a hint Smythe." Sebastian knew Thad was trying to get it out of him and said
"I'm not going to tell you what it is." Thad really wanted to know and kept begging Sebastian to give him a hint, but Sebastian wasn't budging and wasn't going to give in to his best friend. As Thad went back to work. Sebastian pulled out the notebook from his pocket and started looking at it, which caught Thad's attention as he said
"You have a diary I don't know about?" Sebastian shook his head and said
"I actually found it at the Westerville music store." he then showed Thad and said
"You don't recognise this hand writing do you?" Thad looked at the hand writing in the book and said
"A girl definitely wrote that. The cursive is too perfect to be a guy's." Sebastian worried and said
"It's not Santana's right?" Thad looked at Sebastian confused and said
"I'm pretty Santana only writes on her phone." Sebastian was pleased, he hated Santana a lot and was pleased that it wasn't Santana and he said
"The notebook had clues like a little scavenger hunt. I've been wondering about the girl who wrote it that's all." Thad knew what Sebastian meant, if he didn't directly say it, Thad knew he still said it, and Thad gave him a knowing smile and said
"Don't think I don't know what you basically said Bassy." Sebastian was confused and Thad gave him a really look and said
"That you like her." Sebastian quickly responded with
"Thaddeus, we're not in the third grade. We don't say "you like her."" Thad knew his best friend more than himself and said
"But you do." Sebastian shook his head and said
"I don't even know her." Thad walked closer to the counter once more and said
"Which is why it's weirder that you like her. I mean, I haven't heard you talk about a girl since." Sebastian then looked at Thad and said
"You can say her name Thad. She's not Voldermort." Thad quickly rebuttled with his knowledge of his favourite movies and said
"Actually, you're meant to say Voldermort's name, it takes away his power." Sebastian stood up from his chair not wanting to hear anymore about Harry Potter and walked to the DVD stand and said
"I don't actually know if want to meet notebook girl. I just want to know more about her and get to know her more before I make any decisions about that." Thad then excitedly said
"I got it. We set up a Sting operation. You send her a message telling her to order from Breadstix. When she calls and places the order in, boom we have her name." Sebastian was unsure and said
"I will consider the idea." Sebastian walked back and said
"I'm going to get this." Thad was intrigued by it, and said
"What did you pick up." Sebastian looked at the film cover and then at Thad and said
"It's a French film about murder." Sebastian then walked away with the movie and his Breadstix order leaving Thad concerned for his best friend.
