??? POV(IK an actual POV):

I swear I saw Toka get carried into Rowan's office with a Pokemon blanket. So why bring me in here? I don't understand why he would bring me in when Toka is clearly in that office. I mean I'm getting good pay here so I'm not complaining. 

What I did hear was some crying and coughing which I assumed was Toka. So I'm guessing he wasn't feeling well. 

A little while afterward, I looked up from the desk and I saw Rowan walk out of the office. I might just play it off. I called out to him from where I was sitting. "Hey! Boss! I have a question." After getting his attention, he walked over to me. 

"What may I assist you with?" Rowan asked. I eyed the door for a couple of seconds which I don't think I caught on.

"I was wondering what made you want to bring me here today. Was the secretary sick or something?" I asked Rowan, hoping he could at least tell me he was in the office. 

Instead, I saw him look over my shoulder which I assume was looking for other people in the room, which there were. "Hm, I did receive a call from him and I'm planning on sending a get-well basket. So yes, he is feeling a bit under the weather," Rowan lied. I can usually tell when he lies. It's pretty easy. For everyone. I've been one of his friends since high school. So it's pretty obvious that he is a horrible liar. It's another reason he is so likable because he always has to tell the truth. 

I nodded and walked back over to the desk. Once I saw him go back into the office, I went up to the door and listened in. I heard some quiet whispers. Some I couldn't comprehend. Right before Rowan walked back into the office though, I did hear some words that sounded like babbling. I do have an ear for these things. 

"Mr. Forester, could you fill some of these out?" One of the staff members said. I nodded and got back to work.

After I got done with work, I walked out of the building and got into my car. I saw Toka and Rowan get into the same car, which didn't surprise me by this point so I decided to take off back home. 

Once I got back home, I usually waited until my boyfriend came back. He was a joy at all the parties I used to go to. We met at one. We found some common interests and we decided after a few dates, that he and I would take things to another step. 

I heard my phone ring and saw it was Rowan. I answered it and put the phone on speaker while cooking for when my boyfriend got home. 

"Hey Leon, I'm sorry about earlier, I know you probably thought I was lying to you, but Toka is actually under the weather. So there will be days I'll be calling you in more." 

"It's okay. I know it's something that I shouldn't be butting into. So you take care of Toka, alright? Rooting for you."

I heard a laugh from the other side. "Alright, will do. Tell your boyfriend I said hi. Alright?"

"Sure thing." After that, we said our goodbyes and hung up. 

I checked the macaroni to see if it fully cooked all the way which it did. I put the macaroni in the strainer and put it back in the pot with a little water still in it. Then I put the cheese packet in the cookware and by that time, I heard the door open. 

I heard little taps coming from a pair of feet walking up behind me. The next thing I knew was that I got tackled from behind in a hug. I turned around to see my boyfriend. 

"I scare you?" Oliver asked. I chuckled and shook my head. Which earned a pout.

I ruffled his hair. "Go on and get something comfortable Mr. Tiny." Don't look at me, it's a nickname. 

I heard a giggle from Oli and he ran off. Gosh, he is adorable. I finished the macaroni and there were also chicken nuggets and carrots so he can have a vegetable. They aren't cooked because he usually likes carrots and ranch, so I got all the stuff prepared. 

A few minutes after I set the table all up, I heard the same feet run over to me and cling to me. "Ahhhh a baby monster is coming to attack me!" I heard giggling come from my shorter pair. 

"Nooo daddy, it's me! Oli!" Oliver yelled out which I chuckled at and picked him up. I spun him around which earned more giggles and set him down on one of the chairs. 

"Let's get something into your tummy, hm?" I brought over his plate, then brought mine over so both of us can eat. 

Well, here we have a new couple! Both of them will be colliding worlds soon. Obviously. Lmao. I hope you all will like this new couple! So, have a great day!!
