When Rowan and Toka returned to the house, they went into their separate rooms. During this time, Toka thought long and hard about everything previously mentioned. One thing kept Toka in a blushing mess. The part where Leon thought he and Rowan were an item. Yes, his green eyes were something, but Toka only sees him as a boss and a good friend now. Maybe a small part of him wants to see where everything will end up. He doesn't really know what to say about what was mentioned. Also, the fact that Leon was also a caregiver and his boyfriend is a little. The fact that now two people at the company know about his secret. Plus one that doesn't work there. Add in someone that's in jail. Then you've got yourself a whole amount of four people knowing about his secret. 

Well, as for Rowan, he was also thinking the same thing, about the romantic aspect. Yes, he did think a few times of that, but he's holding back only to let Toka get all his emotions out about Chris. Then once everything is settled, he will finally work up the courage to ask him out. Until then, he will wait on the sidelines. Rowan took a deep breath and started reading a fiction book about elves. Sometimes fantasy books are good. Not everything has to be nonfiction. 

Toka was lying down with his phone scrolling through a blog made by some random person talking about relationships. They were saying that "It may be someone right in front of you that likes you." Toka shot up with a blushing face again and face palmed because he was trying to get those thoughts out of his head. Let's just say neither one of them had a good rest that night. 

The next day during break, Toka wanted to get a couple of snacks from the little convenience store that was down the road. He hadn't been over there since he lived in the apartment. He was in there looking for some snacks, paid for them, and left. On his way out he was trying to put the straw in the slushie cup, he got with some granola bars. He soon bumped into a stranger walking the street and the slushie spilled onto the stranger. Toka started panicking and grabbing napkins out of his pocket that he got from the store. 

After trying to get most of it off he found out it was a suit and looked at the stranger. The stranger looked at Toka for a whole second then changed his whole mood to sour. "Why didn't you fucking watch where you were going?" The stranger yelled at Toka who flinched upon hearing the yelling. 

"I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean it." Toka stuttered while fidgeting with his hands and looking down. 

"Well, I'm going to need this dry cleaned. I don't have enough to get this shit cleaned." 

"I'll pay for it..."Toka whispered. The stranger looked smugly at Toka. 

"Give me your phone number then. We'll get it sorted out." The stranger shoved his phone into Toka who timidly put his phone number in the stranger's contacts. He gave back the phone and the stranger looked at his phone and smirked slightly. "Thanks, I'll get in contact with you soon," then he quickly walked away. 

Toka looked down at the spilled cup on the ground and then picked it up to throw it away. An old lady from the store ran out and stopped Toka before he walked back to the company. Toka looked down at the lady who was holding a new slushie for him. 

"I knew you looked a bit tired today. This new one is on the house! Guys around here can be mean sometimes. Especially some customers. I can tell you are different. You've come in every time with nothing but a good heart. I can see right through people you know," she cheered happily. "Here you go, hun! Work hard but also leave some room for fun!" She handed over the slushie and hurried back into the store to help some other customers. Toka smiled slightly and ran back because he knew he was late getting back to the workplace. 

"Are you okay? You look pretty exhausted." Leon got up from the desk and walked over to Toka who was sweating buckets and panting. 

"Yes, I'm sorry to cause you concern." Toka looked down at the floor. "There was a slight problem on my way back from the store. 

"No worries. Just making sure you're okay. Make sure you tell Rowan you're back." 

"I will," Toka assured Leon.
