SPECIAL AMERICA
That time in America
when everyone would say,
it reminded me it wasn't my place,
but I sought you anyway,
nothing would stop my chase.
Kissing beneath
the Statue of Liberty's gaze,
and walking together
through New York's maze.
Across the continent,
I seek to see if you lie,
in Arizona's cold nights,
with the day's heat nearby.
Your arms give me trust
to face my fear,
to say those words,
only "I love you," near.
I have so much confusion,
I don't know what's true,
and who has less,
now I confess to you.
Between kisses and whispers,
between magic and charms,
we walk hand in hand
to the lake's calm arms.
Like Brazil's famous carnival,
bringing joy to my soul,
filling me with happiness,
making my heart whole.
