The taco meat. It was smoking. The fire alarm went off.

"Oh balls!" Jack and I scream at the same time, while both running to the burner. I click it off, and we laugh at the craziness, as a cloud of smoke surrounds us.

"Open the window, will ya?" I ask through a fit of laughter and coughing. I haven't laughed this much since I was a child. I start to feel something in my heart. But it's nothing. We've just met and he's into someone else anyway.

"Aye, lassie!" He says in a silly accent, and smiles at me with those big, blue eyes.

Then, he snaps up the window, to be met with a sickly sweet voice.

"Hiya Jackababy."
