I sighed, it was almost dusk.  "Who cares... does anyone even care?"  I said softly.  An older man passed by. 

"Hello."  He said.  I answered with a short 'hi'.  "Are you hungry?"  He asked.  Not knowing about how dangerous the world really was, I said I was.  "Want me to buy you something?"  I told him that it was getting dark, so I was going to go to sleep.  He left saying good luck.

It was in the middle of the night, when I woke up.  Cops were around.  I heard sirens.  'Whats happening?'  I thought.  A cop came out of the hotel across from my little home.  A man with something in his hand, was behind him in cuffs.  I was frightened to say the least.  I sat still on my blanket, my stuffed bear in hand.  "W-whats happening?"  I murmured.
