Lances POV
I walked excitedly down the hall and walked into the dining room. "Hey guys do you know what day it is?" I waited for an answer but got nothing. My smile disappeared a bit. ".....guys?" Still everyone ignored me. I grabbed my plate of goo and looked down. I sighed and left. Keith was still at the blade so I was alone. I went back to my room and sat on my bed cross cross. I pulled out a candle that I got at the space mall and put it inside my goo. I looked at it and frowned.
"Happy birthday to me......happy birthday...to me.." I felt my eyes water and cloud with tears. I chocked back a sob as I tried to sing to myself. I placed it down and sobbed into my hands. I soon heard footsteps and held them back as laughter of my team passed me. I held my breathe as I tried to listen to what they were saying.
"Lance's birthday would have been so boring if we threw him a party. Plus it'd be too much work!" Pidge mocked, "look at me I'm Lance! Oh look Allura! Hey there sweet thing!" My breath hitched as I tried not to cry more. I heard laughing and i felt my breath hitch. No one said anything or stood up for me. i felt my hot tears roll down my cheek. i heard their voices slowly fade out. i went over to my  door and opened it and looked around and saw no one so i ran to blues hangar. I saw her and ran faster and sobbing. Blue opened up her mouth and I ran in and sobbed into the pilot seat. 

"I just want to have a normal birthday blue....why do they mock me and hurt me?" I screamed out.  'my cub do not cry over those who scorn you. Don't let them get you down. you are my cub and an amazing person and pilot. You my cub hold the team together. you protect them from their human urges. such as an all nighter in order to save another from the pride. You comfort anxiety and those who suffer from nightmares and flashbacks. You are strong.'  Blues calmness washed over me, i shivered and smiled slightly feel less hysterical. i wiped my eyes on my sleeve and slowly stood up.

"Thank you i just want to feel loved by them. Hunk seems to have turned his back on me. I just-im lonely" I suddenly felt what i said weigh me down and my heart ached. I want that gap to be filled by love. by passion. by joy. I stood there shell shocked. 

"I'm.......lonely......" I slowly spoke out to myself and blue. I heard her roar and the rest roar after. I quickly ran out and as i stood there i saw the lions form a circle around me and combine their barriers and keep me in the middle. My eyes filled with tears as i realized what they were doing. Protecting me and giving me company.  I laughed as i stood there i heard all of the lions in my head a soft purr from all.      

"LANCE!" I heard Shiro shout i turned around as tears still rolled down my face. Shiros face looked startled. 

"What did he do this time?" I heard a groan and saw Pidge walk in with Hunk right behind her. 

"UGH" I heard Hunk growl.

"Lance seriously stop goofing off and get out of there!" I heard Allura she didn't sound happy at all. I felt my anger rise. I marched over to the edge of the barrier and i punched it. the sound echoed through the room loud and very clear. 

"Now that i have your fucking attention." I slowly straighten up and I glare at them all. They stood shocked and wide eyed. 

"Who helps everyone sleep at night? oh that's right me! Who helps clean and make sure you don't pas-"

"Lance what are you goin-" Pigde starts by interrupting me.

"Shut. Up. This is my time to talk and to tell you all how i feel. How you've made me feel. So sit down and shut up." I growled out. Pidge's mouth shut and she looked at me almost scared.

"I hold this team together, yet you all make me feel like im not important like i could be cast away at any time! Im sick of it. im sick of the lets ignore Lance! Im so tired. I am tired of living! You use me and then throw me away like a napkin! Im sick of it. Today was suppose to be my 18th birthday and the one day i could be selfish. Even a lil. yet here you all are ignoring me just so you didn't have to what? throw me a party. Thats really shitty and pathetic. Even  one happy birthday would have been better than being ignored by the people you care most about! The hole will never be covered. it'll leave a permanent scar. you all were making me wanna die even more. So until you can get your act together and recognize what i do im not talking to you, im not fighting either. Neither will they. They came to protect me from my own friends! That is sick. Im so angry! Im angry that you do this to me! I take care of you and you just tell me to shut up, to be more serious, to stop. being. me. i make jokes to help you all with the stress and you all scorn me for what i do for you." I was huffing by the end of it. I was of course backed up by the lions as they roared. 

The rest of the team was quiet and looked at me guilty. Allura stepped up to the glass and gently put her hand on the barrier and i saw she had tears down her cheeks like a beautiful and sad waterfall. The lions growled except for Blue but, they let just her in. Allura wrapped me up in a hug and started to apologize. I hugged her back desperately and sobbed into her shoulder. I heard foot steps and my heart stopped for a second. I saw all of the rest of my team just walking away. The way they walked they were all mad and hurt. I watched them go and saw some of my heart leave with each one especially Hunk. I looked at Allura and she turned and glared at them. 

"Tch. They aren't worth your time. Im so sorry. i never should have stood by and watched. How about we go have a spa day?" She looked into my eyes and I smiled slightly and nodded. 

"Yeah.....that sounds nice."
