jamie's eyes barely opened, seeing an angry jaehyun standing at her doorway, johnny standing next to him.

jaemin was already up, standing next to jamie's bed in alert, protecting her.

one of jamie's hands was on her head, the other slowly pulling herself up, using jaemin was a crutch, "ah, oppa, why are you here so early?"

johnny laughed, "twelve pm is early to you?"

jamie's eyes went to her alarm clock, reading the digital numbers that confirmed johnny's claim.

jaemin visibly relaxed at the friendly banter the two did, assuming that man was jamie's brother.

he bowed, "i'm na jaemin, sorry for intruding, i'm a friend of jamie's."

"it's okay, i'm glad someone was keeping jamie company. where's yangyang though?" johnny asked, "busy?"

jaehyun's and jaemin's eyes shot towards her, both in confusion as jamie laughed nervously, flinching from the throbbing pain in her head.

"johnny, you know how yangyang is, he's always busy," she muttered, swinging her legs over the side of her bed, patting it for jaemin to sit.

the boy did and the other two sat on johnny's bed.

"nothing happened last night, right?" jaehyun asked, dad mode on.

jamie laughed lightly, shaking her head, "i was just lonely. you know how lonely it can get in here."

jaehyun narrowed his eyes at the girl who just smiled innocently back.

jaemin nodded in confirmation when jaehyun's eyes went to him.

"jaehyun, don't worry so much," johnny yawned, leaning against the wall of stuffed animals, surprisingly still in tact, "look, they slept in separate beds, if something happened they wouldn't have."

jaehyun's eyes blazed at the thought, causing jamie and jaemin to laugh lightly.

jamie flinched at the sound though, moving her hand to her head.

jaemin's eyes lit up and he got up, going to the side table and handing her a pill and a glass of water, "i hope you don't mind, but i went looking for this stuff when i woke up."

jamie shook her head, taking them, "don't worry, thank you."

"what's wrong?" johnny frowned, concern on his face.

"she's sick," jaemin answered for jamie, seeing her take the pill, "has a headache and a minor cold."

"i told you to not worry," johnny's frown deepened.

jaehyun seemed to understand the lies, going along with them, "that's why she didn't visit yesterday... or remember you were coming home today."

jamie flinched again at the sound, "jae just shut up will you?"

"thank you for taking care of my sister," johnny said, interrupting the war brewing between the other two, "she's so headstrong and independent so i'm surprised she even said anything to you."

jamie started to whine, protesting the thought, but jaemin nodded, a smile on his face.

"of course," he beamed, "jamie's a good friend of mine."

"you're welcome here anytime, no matter what jaehyun says," johnny grinned, "oh, i forgot to introduce myself. i'm johnny seo and this is jung jaehyun, we go to college at dulwich."

"it's nice to meet you," jaemin bowed again.

"what grade are you?" jaehyun asked.

"third year," jamie answered, "he goes to sopa."

"the man has a mouth jamie," johnny whined, "let him speak."

jamie pouted making jaemin giggle.

a timer went off and jaemin jumped up, "breakfast!"

he went out of the room, johnny and jaehyun turning towards jamie.

"he cooked breakfast?" johnny asked, in shock, "marry him before i do."

jaehyun slapped johnny's arm, "shut up. why was he here?"

"i already told you," jamie hummed, standing up and slipping her bunny slippers on, "now let's go eat!"
