jamie's eyes could barely focus and she barely heard the doorbell ring.

she quickly got to her feet, nearly toppling over.

unsteadily and she went to the door, looking through the peephole.

she looked at the profile picture of jaemin on her phone, then at the male, before opening the door.

she nearly fell when she did, jaemin quickly going to catch her.

"you reek," he mumbled, helping her into the apartment.

he noticed it was small for three people, but clean. empty bottles of soju sat on a coffee table in front of a L shaped couch. friends was on, the tv the only light in the house. everything was modern, the color scheme a white and grey with accents of blue, fake plants littering the room along with stuffed animals and cute throws.

jamie could barely hum, the world seeming distorted.

jaemin lightly laid her on the couch before going into the kitchen.

he mumbled to himself as he looked for a glass, then filled it with water.

a betta fish sitting on the counter distracted him, a little note next to it saying not to forget to feed with a daily chart, check marks on some of the dates.

a giggle left his lips before he went back over to jamie.

he pulled out of the bag he brought with him some pills, looking at them and trying to decide which ones were best for her.

"what exactly is wrong jamie?" he asked softly, brushing back a strand of her orange hair that had fallen in her face.

her eyes were squeezed shut in pain, her orange hair in a messy bun on the crown of her head, most of it falling out. she had a baggy sweatshirt on, an american college on the front, with a pair of leggings and cute slippers with bunny ears on the top.

"migraine," she muttered, opening her eyes a little to see the male, "i also feel sick."

"well it looks like someone is hungover," he teased lightly, running a hand through his bangs, "can you still not breathe?"

jamie shook her head, "i can now."

jaemin nodded, "maybe it was anxiety."

jamie did a half-hearted shrug, admiring the pretty boy in front of her.

his brown hair was messy and reached his eyes, waves making it look so soft. his eyes had a caring and concerned look in it, the soft brown matching his hair. there was a bandage on his cheek and another that poked out from underneath his sweater, dark jeans and a pair of jaehyun's slippers he found at the door on.

jamie subconsciously reached up and rested her hand lightly against the bandaid jaemin had on his face.

he flinched before freezing, watching as she sleepily studied him.

after a second he realized what was happening and moved her hand, putting it on her lap, "you should go to bed, it's late and you need all the sleep you can get, it's been an eventful week."

"are you staying?" jamie asked softly, glancing at him, her eyes half-lidded.

jaemin smiled softly, "of course. where is your room?"

jamie seemed to think for a second, her eyes closing more, a hum leaving her lips, "room? down the hall."

jaemin laughed, "really? shock. where in the hall?"

jamie sat up slowly, wobbling to the side. jaemin, seeing that she was going to lead him there, helped her up.

the two walked down the hall in silence, the big windows letting in the soft lights from other apartments outside and street lights.

jamie stopped in front of a room so jaemin opened the door.

two beds were in the room, one on each side.

one side had a bunch of stuffed animals all over the bed, shelves at the end of it, with blue covers on it.

the other side had soft peach blankets, a few stuffed animals on the bed, a guitar sat at the foot of the bed with school books thrown all over it.

jaemin giggled, moving the books and letting jamie lay down.

he helped her take her slippers off and pulled the covers over her.

"i'm going to sleep on the couch okay?" jaemin said, kneeling next to her bed.

"can you stay in johnny's bed?" jamie asked, "i changed his sheets while he was gone, i'll do it again."

jaemin nodded, "i can."

"do you need pants? in my bottom drawer there should be a pair of black pair of sweatpants... they're jaehyun's i kind of stole them. i think there is a shirt that will be more comfortable too."

jaemin went to her drawer and found the pants and shirt she was talking about.

"where is the bathroom?" he asked, turning to her.

"across the hall is jae's room, next to it is the bathroom," jamie said softly.

jaemin left and came back, walking over to jamie.

jamie was dead asleep, a stuffed cooky pillow in her arms.

jaemin smiled, "good night... thank you for giving me a reason to leave my house."
