Lexi was in tears she had never had someone care this much about her, at least not in a long time. Her mom stopped caring a long time ago. Her dad was never really home so it never felt like he cared enough and as for friends? She never had any, not true ones anyways. She did have her grandma that cared deeply for her but she passed away years ago, Lexi was in the middle of her 6th grade year making her about 11. So growing up after that things became difficult and she started distancing herself a lot from everyone, including the few friends she had made that year.
