After watching the SuperM concert and having their own little party Chanyeol lays on his bed thinking of the smaller as he holds his chest while coughing. He really doesn't feel well and can't seem to calm his coughing down.

" Yeol are you ok?" Sehun bursts in the bedroom door and rushes to his friend coughing on the bed and who is turning red.

"JAEHYUN CALL AN AMBULANCE" Sehun rushes to open the window as Chanyeol keeps coughing.

" Why am I calling an ambulance ?" Jaehyun enters the room seeing his friend gasp for small bits of air. He quickly calls 112 and explains what is wrong.

" Chanyeol stay with us ok help is on the way" Sehun tries to comfort his friend as best he can but the taller is grabbing at him to help him breathe better.

" What do we do Sehun?" Jaehyun grabs his hair in his hands not knowing what to do to help his friend.

" We can't do anything but be here for him and hope the ambulance arrives soon" Sehun can feel the tears in his eyes but he holds them back so he can be strong for his friend who could be dying right in his arms.

BANG BANG

" That's them" Jaehyun runs as quickly as he can to let the paramedics in and shows them the way

" Ok how long has he been like this?" The paramedic says as two of them rush into the room dropping their bag onto the floor and reaching for Chanyeol.

" Five minutes" Sehun steps away to let them look him over.

Watching as the paramedic gives Chanyeol some oxygen Jaehyun and Sehun watch on holding each other's arm hoping Chanyeol will be ok

"Ok what's his name?" one asks as he get a needle ready for Chanyeol's arm.

" Its Chanyeol he has been suffering with a chest infection and he was getting better but today he just can't seem to stop coughing" Sehun can't hold it back anymore and he lets go of his tears.

" Ok one of you get me the antibiotics he was taking and the other on come and hold his hand we need to try get him to relax so I can give him this injection that should open the lungs so he can breathe"

Jaehyun pushes Sehun towards Chanyeol as he makes a run to get the medicine Chanyeol has been taking.

" Here" he passes the medicine to the paramedic as he reads the label and puts them in his pocket. " Ok Chanyeol I want you to take a deep breath for me after three" the paramedic injects Chanyeol and counts to three.

Chanyeol does as he was told and takes a deep breath and lets out a cough and grips Sehun's hand harder as tears roll down his eyes

" There you go keep taking some deep breathes for me" The paramedic seems happy now that his patient is breathing a bit better.

" You gave us such a scare Yeol" Sehun kisses his friend on top of his head as Chanyeol won't let his hand go.

" Ok we need to get him to the hospital so if one of you could maybe grab him some clothes in an overnight bag just in case" the paramedics help Chanyeol up and put him in a wheelchair as it will be easier to get him down to the ambulance.

" I will follow with a bag for him I don't think he will let your hand go Sehun" Jaehyun watches as Sehun hugs him with his free arm before leaving the apartment .

At the hospital

"How is he doing?" Jaehyun arrives seeing Chanyeol fast asleep as he makes his way over to the far side of the bed and takes a seat.

" He is ok now just resting . They said the chest infection was worse than thought . They gave him some steroids to help open up his lung and have him on a drip of antibiotics" Sehun rubs Chanyeol's hand to let him know he is still there for him. 

" He was so lucky Sehun" Jaehyun holds the free hand of the taller as they sit and watch Chanyeol breathing while sleeping

buzz buzz

" I think that's his phone" Jaehyun moves to grab the phone next to him and passes it across to Sehun

" Its Baekhyun" Sehun looks up at his friend not knowing what to do.

"Oh fuck what do we do now?" Jaehyun stands up and paces the floor as Sehun keep starting at the thumb pad on the screen

" He don't want Baekhyun to know he is in hospital. He didn't want to tell him he was sick till I told Kai I was worried about him"

" What do we do then?" Jaehyun sits beside Sehun as they both look at the phone

" We need to lie to him ; we need to lie to them all" Sehun lifts up Chanyeol thumb and presses it on the screen of his phone

" I'm so sorry but he will thank me later I know he will" Sehun says as he opens the messages from Baekhyun

Across in LA

" Hey Baekhyun, we are heading out for some drink to celebrate are you coming with us please say you are?" Mark says as he waits patiently for an answer

" I just want to check in on Chanyeol and I will be right with you don't go without me ok" Baekhyun winks as he moves back into this bedroom he shares with Kai and sends a message.

Baekhyun waits to hope Chanyeol will reply before he has to leave . Seeing the word seen come across the screen he smiles and waits.

Closing his phone Baekhyun finishes off getting dressed and heads off out to enjoy his night of finally cracking America before his boss comes bang his door down.

Seoul hospital

"I feel so bad doing this we should have just ignored him Sehun" Jaehyun looks on with worry as he starts to panic, they will get into big trouble for this.

" Look Jae we had to do this. Yeol wouldn't have liked us to have told Baekhyun he was in hospital. I know in my heart we done the right thing if not please say wonderful things at my funeral

Sehun looks down at the phone and closes the app hoping he did the right thing.

" I am so worried about him I got scared Sehun, and I know you did too" Jaehyun leans his head on Sehun shoulder as they continue to look at Chanyeol asleep in the bed with an oxygen mask on

" Me too but he is a fighter he will get through this and when he does, we can tell him what we did but for now let's keep it a secret from Kai and Tae also that way nobody will be rushing home. The last thing we need is a panic of Kpop idol rushing home from America to see his lover that the media have no clue about

" Ok I guess you are right I just hope they will be home soon"

" Hey, listen if we have to lie till the minute they get home then we will ok" Sehun holds out his pinkie finger hoping Jae will agree.

" Well it's too late now to pull out so yes, I guess I have to agree" Linking his pinkie with his friends they snuggle down and watch over their friend till they end up falling asleep.
