It's early morning and I was driving my way to the office while humming along to the songs on high volume in the car. I don't mind listening to songs in my free time.

*Phone rings*

I looked at my phone. It was Ayden. Isn't it too early for him? I put the volume down and picked up his call.

"Hey brother!" he greeted with excitement.

"Hello! Isn't it too early for you?" I teased.

"Ah, way too much but the wolves here don't understand."

I chuckled.

"Harry told me you were home last night?"

"Yes, some work came up so I came. Later it got late so stayed the night."

"Why didn't you tell me?! I had to tell something really important to you. If I would have known we could have talked in person. Anyway, what are you doing?"

"I'm halfway to my office in Berlin. Talk about what?"

"Okay. I had to tell you that... just come back tonight cause you're coming with me tomorrow! And I'm not asking. Got it?" he ordered.

"No," I replied as I remembered I will be busy tomorrow.

"Whyyy?"

"Stop whining like a kid! I have a meeting tomorrow and that's important."

"Arrrggh! This is just not fair Adrian! You got time for everyone around you except me. You never come for me. Can't you even cancel one useless meeting for me?!" he was complaining like a toddler.

"How old are you again?" I asked sarcastically.

"Just say yes or no. Kommst du?" he asked with an irritated voice.

[Are you coming?]

"ich kann nicht-" Before I could finish he hangs up the call.

[I can't]

Wow. What a great start to the day it was!

I groaned.

But why all of a sudden did he want me to tag along? He didn't even say anything clearly about what he wanted me and why?

Ayden is never this stretchy about tagging me along rather he keeps me away from his stuff in most places. Then why is he suddenly like this? Has he killed someone and wants me to cover for him?! Ahh.. no. He can't even kill a rat.

Then? Has he been... suspended from his college? Yes, what else. He is never worried about his studies. Definitely, this is only the reason! Or I'm sure it's something about his college.

I mind link crayon.

'Yes, Alpha'.

'Can you go check on Ayden and see what he's up to tomorrow as soon as possible?'

'Of course. I'll get the information and let you know quickly. Anything else, Alpha?'

'No.'

I put the music volume back up and hummed with the song.

*Text notification sound*

I check my phone. There was a text from Harry, my personal assistant.

>> You have a meeting in the next 20 mins boss. You coming? <<

<< Yes. Be there in 10. >>

"Does anyone else have any other better option," I asked turning my gaze at everyone present in the meeting.

They shook their heads in refusal.

"Let's take the votes then?" Harry asked.

The votes came in favour of building the plant in India. Harry dismissed the meeting after getting the signature of the trustees. She suggested a few companies' names for the joint venture that are favourable to us. We will have to meet the owners of the companies there and do the bargain in person.

India is one of the highest developing countries with the 2nd highest population. That is one of the biggest plus points for us.

Everyone else had left the meeting hall. I was collecting my files and Harry was doing something on her laptop.

"Sir, I have already spoken to some clients in India and two companies just sent me the meeting times," she informed.

I looked at her to find her grinning and her blue eyes gleaming. Woah how smart of a wolf she can be!

I collected my files in my hand and stood up from my chair.

"You're a very clever wolf."

She looked up from her laptop and bowed her head with her eyes closed. Her funny response made me chuckle.

"How were you so sure the project would get a green signal?" I asked her while grabbing a water bottle from the table after putting the files there for a while. I walked over to her chair while drinking from the bottle.

"Ah I just knew it will pass," she said while her fingers were working on the laptop keys.

I smirked as an evil idea popped into my brain.

I spilt all the remaining water on her laptop and let the bottle slip off my hand on the laptop.

"Oops"

"What the-" she shouted and immediately stood up off her chair and took a step back as the water started running down the table. I started laughing as she was still in shock with her both hands on her head.

"Why would you do that?!?!" she was fuming now.

I grinned and took a step back.

"So you can give some rest to your brain," I said and started to walk out of the hall.

"It had all the important files, darn it!" she said putting a hand on her head.

"Ah don't try to fool me. There is always a backup." I stopped in my tracks & looked back," Ah remembered from the file, I forgot my files there, you get them and put them in my cabin without forgetting, okay?"

"I will not!"

"Well, no problem. Your half salary will be deducted from the paycheck as you don't follow the orders of your boss," I told her with a satisfied grin on my face and turned on my heels.

Harry is an intelligent wolf. The most intelligent of all when it comes to money.

She's a werewolf from my pack. I don't like any human assistants as they are extremely slow and highly nosy. I can't let anyone know about my reality. If they even become zero per cent aware of our existence these humans won't let me leave in peace. The scientists will come to eat my brain and might even try to kill us all. Thankfully they aren't even a tiny bit aware of my reality.

Before I could get comfortable in my chair in my office, Crayon mind linked me. I was almost annoyed. I was thinking to take a nap. Ugh.

'Alpha I got the information you asked me to gather,' he said.

'Yeah tell me?' I asked him while scrolling through reels.

'Ayden got qualified in a race. It's a worldwide competition. '

'You mean a bike race?'

'Yes, Alpha.'

'Ah, that's why he wanted me to go with him?' Everything started to make sense now.

'Yes, and um... he was also very disappointed and sad after you denied him.'

'He has never asked for anything from you ever, this is the first time he is asking you for something. Won't you even do that?'

Zedd spoke in my head as if I were the world's most careless brother living on the planet.

'Zedd, you're not helping at all! Please go back to sleep as you did the whole day,' I replied.

' Ah, how I feel bad for Ayden! Poor him but what can I do? You are the one more powerful... You are the Alpha of the pack...' he dramatically taunts to boil my blood.

'Have you taken the pledge to suck all the blood of your human.? I irritatedly replied.

'Okay. Finger on my lips.'

Arghhh. I want a divorce from him!

'Where is the competition held, Crayon?'

Whatever may happen I can't let down my own brother. After all, he is my favourite brother.

'He's our only brother, stupid,' Zedd comments.

I blocked him.

'As it's a worldwide completion, every year the place keeps on changing to a different country. This year it is taking place in India.' Crayon explained.

India, here as well.

'Book my flight to India and don't let him know about this conversation of ours,' I said.

'I'll send you the details of your flight timings.'

*Airplane lands*

I got my luggage and started walking towards the terminal. I looked at my phone. It's 2.42 A.M.

It's a Saturday morning. Right now I was supposed to be sleeping in my warm bed but, no. Ayden had to take part in some stupid ass race and wanted my ass there! That idiot!

I checked my phone for the text Crayon sent me about the hotel.

"SURPRISE!" someone dumb shouted near my ear.

"What the-," I go mute when I see Harry standing in front of my eyes.

"What are you doing here?!"

"Following my Boss," she replied as if that was one obvious thing. "I'm still mad about the laptop."

"Yeah. How can you stay apart from the sexy boss!" I winked at her. "I'm not sorry for that at all."

"No I'm here for business," she said with an evil smile creeping up on her face.

"Ahh, you always keep on working yourself off for the money!" I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the road.

"So? It's important," she states while walking behind me.

*Tires squeal*

"It arrived. I booked it. It'll take us to the hotel," she exclaimed.

I looked at the beautiful shining black car in front of me and we both walked towards it.
