George Weasley x OC

Fred Weasley was gone. Sooner than people expected, sooner than he, himself expected. Or so they thought.

It was brief second mistake that George was mistaken as Fred and was named dead. Fred, meanwhile, was too sad for his family to admit he was not George. They thought Fred was gone anyway...

So the secret was born and it was only known by a couple of people.

However, even if George admired his brother's choice, even as a ghost he was not a man that said no to jokes. Even if by then he was supposed to learn that some jokes are taken seriously by people or in his case, ghosts.

"I wonder who I was suppose to marry, you know if I was alive."

He did not think a simple sentence that was said as a joke would cause him to open his eyes in Hogwarts castle, as a ghost. And he did not expect his suppose to be significant other to be seventh year Ravenclaw, who was devastated in the war and needed a little bit fun in their life.

"What are you, Peeves Junior?"

"I am anything but Junior, darling."

✧ OC can be female or male.

✧ I am imagining it as a story with lots of humour but you can add angst as well of course.

✧ Takes place a year after war. So, OC was in Hogwarts before when Fred and George were still students.

✧ This story will not follow canon (not all parts.)

✧ George will make attempts to meet his family and Fred, so you can also add many of spells he tried to cast (failed and asked help from OC).

✧ Harry can tell twins apart so he is one of few people that kept the secret. (Maybe alongside with Bill or Charlie or Percy)
