Freedom(?)

"Two days have passed since Christmas, meaning that it has been nearly two months since my best friend and head of paranormal research Sean McLoughlin was possessed by an unknown creature-"

"Hey, I have a name you know!"

Felix looked up from where he was sitting on the cold floor, pausing his observations he was scribbling in to glare at his former best friend trapped behind a sheet of bullet proof glass, his expression unamused.

"I know Anti." Felix sighed, setting his pencil down onto his notebook of observations propped open in his lap before rubbing his face with his hands in exasperation.

"You should really give up at this point. After all, there's no way I'm leaving this body no matter how long to wait or how hard you try and find a way to get rid of me." Anti remarked as he casually walked around his confined cell before settling down on the edge of his small bed tucked away in the corner.

"Why? What do you want?!" Felix snapped in frustration, shoving the notebook off of him.

The notebook hit the floor with a slap, the pencil rolling across the concrete floor as Felix abruptly stood up and stormed over to the glass.

"Isn't it obvious? This is my home! This is where I belong!" Anti laughed, gesturing to himself.

"You see Felix Kjelberg, I'm not an alien that some astronaut found. I was extracted from where I belong. This is your fault." Anti continued, pointing accusingly at Felix through the glass.

"What do you mean?" Felix prompted curiously, stepping closer to the glass so he could almost press his face to it.

"I'm a demon, but I'm not just any demon. I'm Jackaboy's dark side personified." Anti explained as he stood up off of the bed and started to saunter over to Felix with an amused smirk.

"Why would they lie to me and do this to Sean? I'm their boss, I never agreed to this!" Felix exclaimed in irritation, slamming a fist into the glass in anger.

"You see, Sean never signed up for this. Your so called "scientists" kidnapped him years ago and made him believe that this was his job after altering his memories. Obviously they never told you the truth, they just told you that he was new, so you accepted him and instantly promoted him to head of the paranormal research team. When they found a way to hypothetically remove all dark emotions and memories, they used Sean as their test subject." Anti paused abruptly, gauging Felix's reaction before continuing.

"Of course afterwards they wiped his memory of the painful testing that went on for weeks on end after he got his job before letting him go back to work, making him study me so they could see if they were successful. However, the other experiments were...unexpected. Their origins are unknown, even my sister's." Anti added.

"Your sister?" Felix repeated dumbly.

"Yes, what is it you called her? Oh yeah, Experiment C65." Anti scowled at the name.

"I thought she told Sean that she was from here." Felix interjected.

"She was lying dipshit, I know where she's really from." Anti scoffed.

"Tell me then." Felix demanded calmly.

"I'll tell you nothing until I've been let out of here." Anti huffed, folding his arms across his chest stubbornly.

"Why the hell would I fall for that? I'm not as stupid as you think." Felix countered.

"Fair enough. Besides, I was just trying to make this easier for you." Anti shrugged nonchalantly.

"What do you mean?" Felix replied warily.

Wordlessly, Anti punched the glass with full force, creating a spiderweb of cracks that arced in front of Felix's face much to his shocked astonishment.

"If I were you, I'd run right about now." Anti suggested as he pulled his fist back for another punch.

"I'm not afraid of you." Felix stated bravely, standing his ground.

"Your choice." Anti smirked before punching the glass once more, causing it to shatter into a million pieces that exploded out and cut Felix's body in multiple places.

"We'll meet again Felix, you can count on it." Anti winked before leaving Sean's body, causing Sean's body to collapse unconscious to the ground onto the shards of glass lying on the ground.

"Robin!" Felix barked as he ran out of the room, finding the scientist sitting at his desk and examining Sean's notes he had made for the escaped experiments.

"What's up sir?" Robin prompted as he stood up to face Felix.

"Take Sean to Brighton and take some time off to watch over him. Experiment A has escaped and will come back for him if we don't hide him." Felix spoke in a rush.

"Will he remember anything after being possessed?" Robin wondered aloud.

"I don't know." Felix admitted with a weary sigh.

"But what I do know is that this is far from over."
