WARNING: implication of attempted suicide, suicidal thoughts, drinking

Mitch held his Rilakkuma stuffed bear close to him, the smell of Scott's cologne breaking his heart. Scott had Korilakkuma because Mitch convinced the Lead Alpha that they should get the bears since they are the 'best of friends' and that's what the Alphmega sees them as.

The best of friends who got married because they wanted to stay friends forever.

Does Scott still want to be my best of friend?

"Mitch? It's time to go in."

Mitch looked at the sliding glass doors, wanting to scratch the self-inflicted scars on his arms. It turned out that he he had more than the doctor thought and was a couple inches shy of ending his life.

I wish that could have happened.

"Mitch?"

He looked over at Tori, noticing how she was looking at him in a motherly way. She apologized to him endless for choosing rehab without his consent. She blamed herself for practically abandoning him here at this place and isolating him so he could get better. It's good for him, but he really needed his closest friends with him.

Avi is the complete opposite. Don't get him wrong because he loves Mitch with all his heart, but the Alpha decided rehab will be best for him. It was obvious that Mitch has been depressed and had anxiety for the longest time, but he's held it in for all these years  and Scott leaving him finally made him break. Holding in all his emotions from childhood all the way to what happened recently was not healthy and being in rehab will make him better.

He will finally be happy.

"Yes?" Mitch asked softly, hugging Rilakkuma tighter. Tori looked away, not wanting to cry in front of him. "What do you need to say, Alpha Avi?"

"It's time to go inside," Avi told him gently, putting a hand on his back. Mitch jumped, not wanting to go in. "Mitch, this will be best for you. Do this for us, Melody, Wyatt, N.J and Alex. You're be going stronger at the end of this."

Mitch began to tear up, biting his lip so sobs won't escape. He failed, putting his face on the top of Rilakkuma's head so he wouldn't be caught crying in public. Tori wasn't ashamed of crying, hugging the Alphmega close to her so he could have someone to hold him. Avi sighed, tearing up at the sight as he walked inside.

"Come on, Mitchy. It'll be okay."

Mitch nodded, walking inside. He wanted nothing more than to hold Melody, who was in Avi's arms right now. Jordyn was in Tori's arms, wondering what was going on. Tori held his hand, running her thumb over his knuckles to comfort him.

A perky Beta walked up to them, a big smile on her face. Mitch looked down at the ground, his timid nature taking the best of him. Avi sighed, smiling at the Beta as she stuck out her hand.

"I'm Ariana! Welcome to One Woods Rehabilitation Center! Visiting hours will be twelve hours long on the weekdays and ten hours on the weekends since the patients do not have group therapy during the weekends. They will rest and do whatever they please if they receive a yes from a worker. Who is the patient?"

"Mitchell Grassi-Hoying," Avi answered, putting a hand on Mitch's back. Melody cooed loudly, extending her arms towards her mommy. "He's right here."

"Ah, yes. He will be in the double disorder dorms. Those in double disorder rooms have two mental disorders, which is pretty self-exclamatory. Because of this, they will have double of the group therapies yet more resting periods than anyone else. Are you ready to go, Mitchell?"

Mitch shook his head, tears falling down his cheeks. Tori walked out, not wanting to see him cry. The bags near his feet broke Ariana's heart, wondering how she could never get used to new patients being left here in hopes to get better. The tears in their eyes made her sad and she cried every night because of it.

"May I hold Melody one last time? Please?"

"Of course."

Mitch set down Rilakkuma, taking his daughter instantly. He cried as she held onto him tightly, not wanting to let her go.

"Mommy's going to be gone for a little while, okay? She's really, really sad."

Melody whimpered, wanting to hold onto her mom. Mitch sighed as he began to whisper in her ear, his voice shaking:

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make happy, when skies are gray
You'll never know, dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

Mitch gave Melody to Avi, crying loudly when she began to scream. Avi took her, hugging Mitch one last time before he left. Ariana rubbed his back, looking up at him sadly.

"I'm so sorry, Mitch. I'm so sorry."

I'm doing this for you, Scott.

~~~
"Why is she so obsessed with Scott?!"
Jeremy sighed as he shook his head, bitting his lip. Jake waited patiently, wondering what the Alpha had to say.
"Because his family is rich and Avi's family isn't. After she realized how much money the Hoyings made, she wanted more. She was actually going to break up with Avi, but she decided against it when she realized how much money he got paid because of him having a career as a guitar teacher."
"So why did she cheat on him with you? That's the part I don't get."
"My family has a company that has been running for five generations. Everyone knows who we are. We're also great friends with the Maldonados. Our dads used to play gold with each other or something."
"So, let me get this straight. She only dates and likes people who are rich and have stable jobs?"
"Pretty much. Scott is a vocal coach, Avi is a guitar teacher, and I have a business. All of these pay a lot of money, something that Kirstin wants and if she doesn't get anything, then she leaves them in a heartbeat."
"So she's a gold digger?" Jake asked, raising an eyebrow. Jeremy nodded, rubbing his hands over his face. "What a stuck up bi-"
The doorbell rang, causing Jeremy to look at it cautiously. He looked over at Jake, his eyes wide as he walked over. The Beat followed him, scared of what could behind the door.
"Hello?"
He opened the door, screaming when a petite figure jumped on him. He screamed louder when he felt the figure jabbed at his sides and shoulders, knowing who it was automatically.
"JESSA, STOP!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BROTHER! WHAT DROVE HIM TO GO TO REHAB?!"
Jeremy widened his eyes, just being informed of this. Jessa caught this, raising an eyebrow as she looked up at him.
"You don't know anything about this, uh? Basically, I wanted to take my daughter to see her uncle. When I went to his house, he wasn't there. His Pack told me why he left and told me it was because of Scott and his childhood, but they didn't explain it all too well. What do you think happened?"
Jeremy was about to answer when a rock flew through the window at that moment. Everyone jumped, the sound of breaking glass taking a shock out of them. Jake picked it up, reading the message. He looked up at them, widening his eyes.
"Guys? I think I know what Scott did. Only problem is...I think he's being forced."
The two others read the rock, widening their eyes at the message. They shook their heads, not wanting it to be true.
"What in the world?"
It read:
Scott is all mine now. Mitch though he left him, but Scott is lying. Too bad that Mitch didn't kill himself. The world will be a better place.
Love, Kirstin <3
~~~

Scott wiped his mouth, the taste of Kirstin still on his lips. He sniffed, wondering why he ever hurt his Pack.

The drinking and verbal abuse started after Alex left. Through his grief, Scott began to drink. Bottles of vodka and beer made his room dirty, the bottom of the bottle his solution to temporary happiness. Avi and Kevin helped him endless in hopes to get him better, but he refused. Drinking was his way out of his sadnesses

He didn't realized his serious his drinking problem was until he began to verbally abuse the Pack. Kirstin told him that the best way to get over a heartbreaking event is to tell everyone how he felt about them, no matter how cruel the words were.

He called Kevin dumb.

He called Avi a terrible Alpha.

He called Kirstin stupid.

He couldn't handle it and thought that he was doing the right thing until Avi snapped at him about what he was doing wrong. He realized what he was doing and promised to stop. He apologized to everyone he hurt, tears rolling down his cheeks while doing so. The last day he drank was the day when he felt like giving up. He was slightly tipsy and got better as the day passed so he could drive Kevin and Kirstin to a test, but he wanted to drink some more.

Until he met Mitch.

Mitch made him realize how his abuse and addiction hurt everyone and stopped right away. He rarely drank anymore and strayed away from any kind of alcoholic beverage. He will slip a few times then and now, but he is improving a lot.

Not right now.

Scott squeezed his Korilakkuma teddy bear, imagining Mitch in his arms as he stood up. He wanted o go back home and apologize for all he has done. He never wants to let go of him.

I'm so sorry, Mitch.

Kirstin went away for a couple of hours. Scott had to admit that she had a nice place, but be wanted to get out. He wanted to see Mitch again.

I love you so much.

He walked over to the refrigerator, tapping his fingers nervously against the cold metal. He closed his eyes, not being able to stop himself.

I hate myself for telling you that. You deserve more.

He opened the refrigerator, looking around to find anything to get him out of his depressed state. He found a bottle of wine, satisfied by the results.

I love Alex, but I love you more.

He opened the wine bottle, looking at the liquid inside. A tear rolled down his cheek, wanting this instantly.

I'll be back, Mitchy. We'll be together again.

After a whole year of being clean, Scott began to drink again.

I'm so sorry, Mitch.

A/N: Well, this is sad.:( Sorry for the late update. I had to do some stuff, lol. Also, I'm getting my senior plaque for choir on Saturday and I can't wait! Eight years of choir, omg. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed the chapter as remember that I love you all.:)
