"Is he okay?"

"He's had better days. He's with Melody right now."

Avi nodded somberly, looking at Melody's room. Mitch has been in and out of the room for the past couple of days, looking more very sad every time he did. It worried him to no end.

"Where's Scott?"

"He had to go to his parents' for a day," Alyssa answered, looking at the papers the hospital sent her. "My heart transplant surgery is in a few days. They're going to continue chemotherapy once I go up to Tahoe."

Avi nodded, not wanting the Olusolas to leave. They were running out of room of the house and the guest room was Jessi's room. The Pack's house doesn't enough room for all of them so moving seemed like a good option even though it was tearing them apart.

"Alyssa?"

"Yes, Avi?"

He sighed as he hugged her gently, trying his best not to cry. This is possibly the hardest decision he has ever made, but it will benefit the entire Pack...hopefully.

"I'm going to talk to Tori about moving after we're married."

"What are you trying to say?"

"I think it's time for the Pack to go their separate ways."

Alyssa was about to protest when crying came from Melody's room, but it wasn't the baby Beta. It was Mitch, his sobs echoing in the room. Avi walked upstairs immediately, not wanting to talk about this anymore. He doesn't want anyone to change his mind.

"Mitch, what's the matter?"

Mitch held Melody close, crying even harder as he put his other hand on his stomach. Avi hugged him gently, hopping that he will calm down a bit. The Alpha's shirt was wet, but he didn't care because Mitch was his only focus right now.

"I-I..."

"Don't stutter, Mouse. What happened?"

"I want another kid."

Avi couldn't tell if it was hormones or emotions that were acting up, but he hugged the Alphmega tighter. Mitch cried some more, wondering why this happened to him. He was being very careful too, so why did this happen? He wanted to have a lot of kids so they could be loved forever and forever.

"Avi?"

"Yes, Mitch?"

"Am I broken?"

"Why would you say that? Mitchy, what's wrong?"

Mitch let go of the hug, putting Melody in her crib. She whined a bit, calming down when she saw her mommy next to her. The Alphmega looked up at Avi tearfully, sobs ready to be released.

"I can't have another child. I'm broken."

Avi shook his head, tearing up himself. Mitch is not broken because of this current situation. He still the same Mitch he was before the twins were conceived. He is not, nor ever will be, broken.

"You will never be broken, Mitch. I'll make sure of it."

"Avi?"

"Yes, Mitch?"

"Promise me that you will never leave me."

Avi bit his lip, not knowing how to respond to that. He sighed sadly as he nodded, running his had through the purple hair.

"I promise."

Why do you always lie to him?

When Scott drove home later that night, he could sense that something was wrong the moment he pulled up. He got out of his car, his worry increasing by the minute. He had a nice and long talk with his parents about what Mitch went through and they both agreed adoption will be great for the both of them considering Mitch's background.

Thank you, Mom and Dad.

Scott opened the door, noticing how everyone seemed sad. Avi, Tori, Kevin, and Alyssa all sat on the chairs and couches in the living room while Erik and Ariel played quietly, the both of them giggling the entire time. The Omegas and Alphmega were upstairs, not knowing of the conversation that will commence.

"Scott?" Kevin asked, looking at him seriously. The Lead Alpha nodded, waiting for a response. "We've been talking about this for a couple hours."

"Yes?"

"We think it'll be best for all of us," Tori spoke up, looking at Avi sadly. Tears welled in her eyes, the entire situation making her emotionally drained. "We just want your input."

"What's the matter?"

"Kevin and I are moving to Lake Tahoe after I have my heart transplant. I will continue chemotherapy there," Alyssa spoke up, looking at Scott seriously. "The house is getting too small, Scott. You and Mitch use the attic for your bedroom while Ben uses the room for extra space as his bedroom. The only people that have real rooms are me and Kevin, Avi and Tori, Jordyn, Melody, and our babies. Jessi stays in the guest room, which is too small for them. It's time for a change."

"What kind of change?!"

Avi jumped a bit, not expecting Scott to get this angry. He thought that the Lead Alpha will approve of the idea, not yell at the Pack angrily. He stood up shakily, ready to tell Scott the news.

"It's time for the Pack to separate."

He stumbled back when Scott pushed him, causing Tori to gasp loudly. He stood up and punched the Lead Alpha across the face as hard as he could. The two Alphas fought as Tori and Kevin tried to separate them, the four of them yelling. Blood and punches were the only things that were shown in the room at that moment, scaring Alyssa half to death.

"GUYS, STOP! THE OMEGAS AND MITCH ARE ASLEEP!"

The fighting grew more intense, causing someone to come downstairs. Alyssa didn't get see who it was because she was watching Scott get ready to punch Avi harder than he has ever punched anyone before. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see Avi get hurt. She suddenly heard a gasp, causing her to open her eyes and gasp herself.

"Mitch, I'm so sorry."

Mitch's nose was bleeding and a tear ran down his face, causing him to look at Scott with teary eyes. The Alpha's eyes were wide as he began go tear up, moving towards to Mitch to hug him. The Alphmega backed up, refusing to be touched. Avi went up to hug him himself, but Mitch shook his head. Tori gave him a tissue, which he took gratefully as he glared at Scott and Avi.

"You two are supposed to be friends.
Don't let that end because of a decision that is good for all of us. Oh, and Avi?"

"Yes?"

"You broke your promise. You lied to me. You're leaving me."

Avi tried to apologize, but nothing came out. Alyssa and Tori took Mitch's hands, glaring at the two Alphas as they took him to the bathroom. Scott went upstairs immediately, not wanting to be seen anymore. Avi looked at the ground, ashamed of his actions and the promise he made for Mitch.

Why did I lie to him?

Jeremy was out of breath, trying to stabilize his breathing once he stopped. He saw a Committee member talking to the Head Person, hiding behind a wall quickly. He cannot be see because 'rouge' Committee members will be punished despite what their rank is.

"Jeremy Michael Lewis is missing. If you find him, take him to his Mate. She's worried about him."

Yeah right.

He ran towards the door, smiling when he went outside quickly. He cheered as he got off the premises, frowning instantly when he saw the sight in front of him.

"What in the world?"

It was a graveyard, one that wasn't too big or too small. He remembered coming here as a child, walking in slowly so the memories wouldn't come back too fast. His heart ached when he saw a coffin being lowered into the ground, the sobs of people the only sound he could hear. He walked in there, hoping to find what he wanted. He finally did, tearing up when he stood in front of the tombstones.

"I miss you two a lot. I don't know how Ben is doing, but I hope he's doing fine. He's with a better Pack."

He began to sob as he fell into his knees, wanting his parents to be alive. They were so kind to him and gave him all the love in the world even though they taught him that Omegas were weak. They changed their views after Ben was born but his didn't. He was so cruel to him growing up and now he wants nothing more than to hug his brother and tell him how much he loves him.

"I love you, Mommy and Daddy."

He stood up, his legs wobbly. The people from earlier began to leave, their sobs quieter now. He sighed as he began to leave too, widening his eyes when he saw a red headed man put down a bouquet of roses on a tombstone himself.

"Jake?!"

A/N: I am so sorry. I got mad at Scott and Avi, lol. What do you think? I don't know when to end this book since I want it to go to forty chapters so we shall see. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
