Don't point out any mistakes.:3
Also, warning. This chapter deals with suicide. Remember that I love all so much.<3
Mitch couldn't understand what was going on.
All he knew was that Alex was sleeping peacefully on their front yard, nothing more or nothing less. Everyone besides him were crying once they saw Alex, their cheeks stained with tears. He couldn't understand why everyone did cry though. Who cried over someone taking a nap?
Well, he did when Kevin was in the coma. He knew why he was sad, but he didn't know why he was crying over Kevin 'taking a nap'. Naps weren't necessarily something to cry over. Maybe Alex wasn't napping, maybe just taking a long sleep because of being so tired during the day.
He watched as the E.M.T put Alex in a bodybag, titling his head a bit. He walked over to the E.M.T, talking on her holder to ask a question. She turned around, nodding to see what Mitch had to say.
"Why are you putting Alex in that bag?" Mitch asked innocently, wondering why he couldn't see the tall Omega's head. The E.M.T teared up a bit and was about to answer when Mitch widened his eyes a bit and smiled a bit. "Is that his sleeping bag?! It looked like he needed one. I wouldn't want to sleep on the ground without one."
"Mitch," Scott called out weakly, getting his Mate's attention. Mitch nodded, walking over to the Lead Alpha. "Honey, I'm sorry to say this, but that's not a sleeping bag."
"It's not?" Mitch asked, tilting his head. Scott wanted to cry even more, the innocence breaking his heart. "What is it?"
"It's a body bag, baby."
"Wait...what is that for?"
Scott put his hand on Mitch's cheek, wanting the Alpmega to calm down. His Mate's eyes teared up, not understanding what was going on. The Lead Alpha sighed, holding Mitch's hand with his other one.
"It's for dead people, Mitchy."
"But...Alex isn't dead," Mitch exclaimed, shaking his head. Scott's heart finally broke, the tears rolling down his face faster. "We just saw him yesterday! He was fine!"
"Mitchy, anything could happen in a day. Alex is gone."
"How?"
"He..." Scott started off, looking at the gun. He bit his lip, shaking his head to fend of the tears. "Do you remember the thing Kirstin and Jeremy committed?"
"Kind of. The thing that took their lives away?"
"Yes, baby," Scott answered, hugging Mitch tighter when he sobbed. "He committed that too."
Mitch cried loudly, wanting to hug Alex once more. He wants to forgive him for all he has done to him. He wanted Alex to know that he loves him because he loves everyone, no matter how much they hurt him.
He wants him to know that Scott still loves him, no matter what.
~~~
"He killed himself?!"
"Yes! What do we do now?!"
Kirstin started to pace back and forth, her anger growing by the second. Jeremy stayed far away from her, not wanting to anger her anymore.
"I want to have my revenge," Kirstin yelled, picking up a vase. She threw it near Jeremy's head, making him jump. "I want him dead!"
"We all do," Jeremy commented, shaking his head. He uncrossed his arms and walks over to Kirstin, Rubin her arms carefully. "I'll kill if you want me to."
"No, you'll screw up like you always do. It won't surprise me if I gave you the job and Mitch is saved because of you."
Jeremy's heart began to hurt after that, wondering why Kirstin was so abusive towards him. Honestly, he doesn't even want to hurt the Pack anymore. They really don't matter to him anymore and he didn't want to deal with them. Kirstin thought differently though as she wanted them to all die under her wrath.
"What could I do?!"
Kirstin's eyes suddenly lightened up as she smirked, walking over to a file cabinet. She took a folder out, smiling evilly as she opened it. Jeremy looked at her anxiously, wondering what she had in her hands.
"Look what I got," Kirstin told her boyfriend, throwing the folder on the table. "These are Mitch's birth records. They show his ranking and everything of that sort."
"So?" Jeremy asked, closing the folder. Kirstin glared at him, opening it once more. "He's an Omega. We don't need to kn-"
"He's Divergent. It says so on his records. He's an Alphmega."
Jeremy widened his eyes a bit, wanting to smile. He was taught that Alphmegas were fictional because it was highly impossible for a rank to be both until a Beta did some research on a Omega and found out the Omega's eyes turned red and blue. The Beta did this with Alphas whose eyes turned yellow and red, who are called Alpetas. Betas whose eyes turned blue and yellow are called Betmegas. The research shocked all, causing the Council to protect those who were like this so they won't be hurt. In no time, these group of rare people were all named Divergents.
A rouge group, however, hated these types of people. They killed the Divergents whenever they could, especially the Omegas who could be Alphas too. They are called the Committee and will do anything to kill these Divergents.
The worst part?
Unlike the Council, anyone could be a part of the Committee.
Kirstin looked up at Jeremy, a scary smile on her face. The Alpha shook his head, not wanting Mitch to die. The Alphmega is special and needs to be protected.
"Kirstin, no."
"We finally get what we want though."
"I refuse!"
"Too bad. I'm the one in charge. We're going to join the Committee and kill Mitchell Grassi."
~~~
Mitch hugged Scott from the side, a frown on his face. The Lead Alpha ran a hand through the purple hair, wondering why this happened to them. Nobody went back to sleep, tramutized by today's events.
"Scott?" Mitch asked softly, looking up at his Mate. Scott nodded, a blank look on his face. "Why did Alex commit that?"
"I don't know, baby," Scott whispered, kissing Mitch's forehead. "He might have been upset, baby. In so sorry that you had to see that."
Mitch nodded, closing his eyes a bit. He was tired and he wanted to sleep the day away. He can't believe that this happened.
"I need to go the hospital. I'm taking Alyssa with me," Tori informed the couple, Alyssa right behind her. Scott nodded, his eyes filling up with tears. "I'm right here if you need anything. I love you two so much."
"I love you two too," Alyssa spoke up, frowning as tears gathered in her eyes. "You are not alone. We're going to help you."
The both of them left without another word. Mitch curled up to Scott closer, crying silently. The Lead Alpha kissed him, not wanting him to cry anymore. Jessi and Ben are in their rooms, not wanting anyone to see them cry. They can't believe that this happened.
"Scott, Scott!"
Scott sat up to see Avi and Kevin standing in front of them, smiles on their faces despite of why happened today. He sat up quickly, Mitch secured in his arms.
"What happened?!"
"I have some good news," Kevin spoke excitedly, looking down at Mitch. "Mitchy?"
"Yes?" Mitch asked tiredly, looking up at Kevin innocently. "What's the matter?"
"I remember you."
