Kevin opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light in front of him. He rubbed at his eyes as they adjusted, wondering if this is what it looked like when you go to Heaven. All he heard was crying all over the place, making him raise an eyebrow.

Why would Angels cry for you?

"Oh my goodness, Kevin!"

He turned his head towards Alyssa, recognizing that voice from anywhere. She was crying and gasping for air, but it looked like she didn't care at that moment. She hugged Kevin righty yet carefully, so grateful to see her husband healthy and well.

"Oh my gosh, Kevin! I thought I lost you."

Uh?

"Kevin?" A timid voice asked, causing him to look at his other side. Mitch was there, playing with his sleeves. "I missed you. You took a very long nap."

I was in a coma?

"Ah, Mr. Olusola," a doctor exclaimed, walking in the room. Kevin looked at him, his confusion growing. "You look very well. You are suffering from a small brain injury and temporary paralysis. With some therapy, you will be okay in no time."

Kevin nodded, still confused by what landed him in the hospital. Why change remember anything? All he remembered was someone hitting the back of his car and he went towards a hill...

Oh...

"I'm so sorry I yelled at you, baby," Alyssa told him sweetly, kissing his cheek. "I hope you could forgive me."

Mitch gave him his Rilakkuma bear, smiling when Kevin squeezed it a bit. The male Beta, however, was confused. He had one question, a question he has yet to figure out.

"Doctor?"

"Yes, Kevin?"

"Why are these nurses being nice to me?"

"He forgot who you are?" Scott asked, widening his eyes. Mitch nodded, trying his best not to cry. "Mitchy, I'm so sorry. How's Alyssa?"

"She's not any better," Mitch answered sadly, his voice shaking. Alyssa stayed there at the hospital, trying to figure out why Kevin forgot about them. "It was like he forgot every memory we had with each other. He was, is, an older brother to me."

Scott held Mitch's hand, brushing his thumb over the small knuckles. The Omega did not deserve to go through that at that moment. When he thought Kevin woke up from that 'long nap', he thought the Beta will be okay and joking around with him like always. Now he can't remember a single thing about him and he honestly doesn't know why, which brought him to the conversation he had with Alyssa before Kevin woke up.

"Scott?"

"Yes, baby?"

"Do I have a mentality of a child?"

Scot sighed as he nodded, gripping onto the small hand tighter. Mitch looked down at his lap, ashamed of his mentality.

"Yes, you do. Your parents and I talk about it all the time. You were diagnosed when you were only five years old. Right now, you have a mentality of a kindergartener, maybe a first grader. Your doctor is confused because you act like a fully developed Omega even though you haven't attended Omega School. Nobody knows the real reason why you act or think the way you do. It's okay though, baby. You're special."

"I don't want to be special though," Mitch whispered, his voice shaking. Scott squeezed his hand tighter, his heart breaking when Mitch began to cry. "I want to be normal, just like you."

"Avi, come down here!"

The Alpha obeyed, smiling when he saw Tori surrounded by wedding magazines. Jordyn was in her lap, trying to grab a magazine and stick it into her mouth. Avi walked up to his wife and sat down next to her, wondering where everyone was.

"Scott picked Mitch up from the hospital and Ben and Jessi are somewhere around here. I don't know."

"Oh, okay."

At that moment, Ben came running downstairs. He was laughing hysterically, looking up at something. Tori looked up to se what was wrong, widening her eyes when she saw Jessi going down the stairs...

On a mattress.

"Jessi, what are you doing?!"

Jessi stopped at the bottom, laughing along with Ben. They stood up from the mattress, hugging their Mate close to them. The couple walked up to the other couple, laughing too hard to answer.

"We're sorry," Ben apologized, giggling quietly. "We were mattress surfing!"

"Mattress surfing?" Avi asked, raising an eyebrow. Jessi nodded, their smile wide and eyes full of glee.

"You go downstairs on a mattress. Have you watched The Princess Diaries: The Royal Engagement?"

"Oh my gosh, yes," Tori exclaimed, standing up. She picked Jordyn up with her, smiling contagiously. "That movie was my childhood!"

"Do you want to do it?!"

"Of course!"

She gave Jordyn to Avi, going upstairs with the mattress trailing behind her. Once she got up there, she went on the mattress and slid down, laughing hysterically. Avi shook his head, looking down at his daughter.

"Mommy's really happy today, huh?"

"Mama!"

"TORI, SHE SAID MAMA!"

Tori stopped what she was doing, widening her eyes a bit. She walked up to her family and took her baby, spinning around with her.

"You finally said Mama! You now know three words!"

"Yep! Scömìche, Mitchy, and Mama," Ben listed off, smiling at the little baby. He looked at Avi, nodding this head. "Jordyn is going to be exactly like you, Avi. You are an amazing father. I wish I could be like you when I become a father."

Avi smiled as his cheeks grew red, hugging the Omega close to him. Ben had his sweet moments and whenever he did, it made everyone happy.

"Thank you, Ben. Thank you."

"You're welcome, Alpha Avi. You're welcome."

"At least he lost his memory."

"I would've preferred him dead, but I guess that works too. Anything to get him to forget who Mitch is."

"Why would him forgetting about Mitch do anything?" Alex asked, crossing his arms. He didn't understand that all too well."

"If Kevin forgets who Mitch is, that's one less person to love him" Kirstin explained, glaring at the tall Omega a bit. She began to pave back and forth, exasperated by the stupidity of Alex. "Kevin forgetting about Mitch will make him not love him anymore. Mitch deserves that because he stole the love everyone gave to me."

"Evil people don't deserve love."

Kirstin glared at the Omega, shaking her head. Jeremy did nothing besides stare at Alex disapprovingly, shaking his head slightly. Alex walked off, wondering if he could go home.

I wonder if Jake still loves me.

He thought about that constantly. Sure, he was only in rehab for a couple of days, but Jake didn't see him. He wondered if his Mate didn't love him anymore.

"I love you, Jake."

He wished that the Beta was here to say something back, but he wasn't.

And that only broke Alex's heart more.

A/N: This is a bittersweet chapter, j guess??? I don't know how to explain it, but a lot didn't happen so I guess it's a filler. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoyed the chapter and remember that I love you all.:)
