WARNING: Mention of the word 'suicide'

The taller Omega smiled weakly as he looked over at Scott. The Alpha grew scruff and he looked buff, more buff than he was when they were together. He looked the ring on his old Mate's left finger and his heart dropped, knowing that what happened between him and Scott will never happen again.

I'll get you back, Scott.

"How are you?" Alex asked, innocence in his words. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," Scott replied, looking back at Mitch. Mitch smiled as he got up, Melody in his arms. "Do you want to say to Alex, Mitch?"

"Hi, Alex," Mitch chirped, smiling when Melody waved at him. Alex Eve's back, raising an eyebrow at the child. "This is Melody. She is our child!"

Child...such as, Scott is married and has something that I wanted with him?

"That's cool," Alex lied, wanting to glare at the child. He looked over her once, tilting his head. "What's wrong with her? She looks weird."

Mitch frowned as he kissed his child, tearing up a bit. He looked up at Scott, shaking his head quickly.

"I have to go to the bathroom," Mitch told his Mate, his voice cracking at the end. He took a deep breath as he wiped his eyes, not wanting to cry in front of the older Omega. "I'll be right back."

Mitch gave Scott their child and walked upstairs, beginning to sob quietly. Avi followed him, making sure that he was okay. Scott glared at Alex, shaking his head.

"What's wrong with you? You never ask those kinds of questions!"

You could when someone took your love away.

"I'm sorry," Alex responded, keeping his statements small. Scott rolled his eyes as he put Melody in his arms. "Anyway, I need to stay with you. Something happened."

Scott sighed as he looked back upstairs, not wanting Alex anywhere near Mitch. The last time that happened, Alex brought back Mitch's voice. Ever since they got married, Mitch became new confident in himself and no longer had insecure thought about himself. It was like he was a brand new person! His confidence score went up to a 100-Medium, a huge increase from his old one. Alex could ruin that for the still mentally fragile Omega.

"What happened? Jake is your Mate. Did something happen between you two?"

Alex looked at the ground, tears running down his cheeks. Scott frowned, wandering why the Omega was sad all the sudden. He seemed kind of sheepish and timid, something that was a rarity for him. Alex sighed as looked back up at Scott, his eyes full of sadness.

"Jake is dead."

"Hey, Ben," Kevin greeted happily, unlocking the car door. Ben smiled but then frowned, looking at his lap. "What's the matter, Ben?"

"Ben Ben," Erik exclaimed, his smile wide. Ariel copied his actions and clapped loudly. "Ben Ben Ben!"

"Hey, guys," Ben replied, his voice lacking the vibrancy he usually has. Kevin looked at him sadly as he started the car, wondering what was going on with the Omega. "I want to go home. I'm tired."

Ben looked over at Ben once. The Omega held no physical appearances that associated with tiredness. Kevin sighed to himself, wanting to know what kind of tired Ben meant.

"Are you sleepy tired?" Kevin asked, focusing on the road. Ben shook his head as he felt more tears gather in his eyes. "What's wrong, kiddo?"

"I'm tired emotionally and mentally," Ben admitted, a tear rolling down his face slowly. He wiped at it quickly, not wanting to show any emotions. "I'm a terrible Omega."

"You've improved a lot though. You are more obedient. Were you thinking of something else?"

"Yes, yes I was."

"What was it?"

"Jeremy."

Kevin stopped the car suddenly, hugging Ben tightly. Ben cried onto the string shoulders, sobbing quietly. The young Omega, Mitch and Jessi included, never really understood the concept of suicide until the Betas and Alphas explained it to them. Since then, Ben rarely smiled. He lost all the happiness he had before Jeremy passing away. He wants his brother back, even though he hurt him.

"So why he is here?" Jessi asked, looking up at Tori. The female Beta raised as eyebrow as she fed Jordyn some baby food. "Something seems suspicious about him."

"No need to make assumptions, Jess. If there is, we'll do smelting about it," Tori promised, smiling when Jordyn finished up the baby food. "You're finished, baby? Are you finished?"

Jordyn nodded as she began to babble something, causing Tori to widen her eyes. Avi came back downstairs with Mitch hugging him on his side, dried tear tracks on his cheeks. Scott looked back at Tori and allowed Alex in, King next to Mitch. Kevin and Ben came home in that moment too, Ariel and Erik in front of them. Jordyn babbled once more, causing everyone besides Alex to freak out.

"JORDYN IS GOING TO SAY HER FIRST WORD!"

"See, I'm not the only one who yells."

Tori shushed her husband as Jordyn finally said her first word, a smile on her face.

"Scömìche."

"MY IMPACT!"

"Avi, you idiot!"

Tori slapped the back of Avi's head lovingly, shaking her head. Avi smiled as he kissed the too of her head, happy that his child was following in his footsteps. Jessi smiled at Ben then frowned when they noticed the teary brown eyes. They walked up to their Mate and kissed him gently, taking his hand and lead him upstairs, wanting to talk to him personally.

"Well, I need to see how Alyssa is doing. She's probably hungry."

Scott nodded as he watched Kevin going upstairs, wanting Alyssa to be okay. She threw up a couple times in the past couple hours before Alex came here. He really hopes that she isn't stressed.

"Avi and I need to go to the store for a couple of things," Tori told Scott, picking up Jordyn. She kissed her baby, shaking her head. "Hopefully she'll lean how to say Mama or Dada on the way there."

"Mitchy."

Mitch smiled as he heard Jordyn's sweet voice call him. He waved to her as the couple walked off, stopping when the door closed. Alex waved to him once, wondering what was wrong with Melody.

"So, what does Melody have?"

"She has Down Syndrome," Mitch replied, frowning a bit. Scott wanted nothing more than to smack some sense into his old Mate, but he has his eight month old baby in his arms. "She's a Beta too."

"Oh, okay. That's cool I guess."

"Why did you hesitate?" Scott asked, his voice full of anger. Mitch quickly walked up to him and took Melody in his arms, not wanting her to get hurt. "Tell me, now."

"Oh, it's nothing," Alex defended, shaking his head. He sighed as he looked at his fingers, shrugging his shoulders. "Your baby has Down Syndrome and is a Beta."

"So? Why should that matter?!"

"Aren't Betas supposed to be smart?"

A/N: Just for a precaution, I really love Alex. I'm just making him like this for the story. Also, just because someone has D.S doesn't make them unintelligent.
