.PREFACE.
This story has been through a lot. A lot of changes, crappy writing, mood swings, lack of motivation, —dating from 2019. There are days where I felt the same burst of energy to write that I did when I first started working with this plot and others where I regret starting such a long story in the first place. When I go back to re-read, there are times where I wonder why I was feeling this way. Disturbia Dulce or originally named Young Blood and then changed to The Blood of My Moon was written during a time of stagnancy, happiness, pain, melancholy, and loneliness. What I want to say is, I hope you're able to feel what I once felt through my characters. And yes, this is technically considered a Fanfiction (perhaps one day I might change the names), but it's a story I created on my own, with my own characters. And so I ask, treat it as one. Treat it with the same respect and harshness you'd treat an original work. I'd like to finish this story before the end of summer 2021, I hope I can.

.AUTHOR'S NOTE.
This story has many drafts waiting to be rewritten and proofread for the second and third time. What is currently up now is not true "perfection" but work that has my full effort and love and that I'm happy to share with you. That also means, please feel free to give it feedback/constructive criticism because a writer must always be willing to grow. I expect this story to be around 60-70 chapters so be prepared for a long ride. And just to say it: yes I understand the names used here are of real people. What I show here is not meant to represent or portray the artists at all. Nor in any way meant to disrespect the artists' images, it is simply a novel. So treat this as a work of fiction- fabrication as opposed to fact. Casually here and there I will add some similarities of the artists to my characters.

.SYNOPSIS.
Throughout the span of a night, Kim Taehyung, one of the modeling industry's top runway models, has his world pulled from beneath his feet when a murder happens right before his eyes. He finds himself crossing paths with Jeon Jungkook, a ruthless assassin who walks the tightrope between life and death. Fate has them right by one another when Jungkook's mission is to use Taehyung, without giving away his true identity, to catch the Min's biggest enemy.

Jungkook develops a dangerous attraction to Taehyung and unintentionally pulls him into the dirty, darker world of Seoul where mafias and illegal activity run amok. What began as using him for his own benefit becomes into a fight to protect Taehyung from harm's way. But Taehyung finds himself sinking deeper into this world as a frightening, needy obsessive like love festers within his heart.

While Jungkook tries to get them out, Taehyung pushes them in deeper into the darkness until all around them is filthy betrayal, death, secrets, guilt, and drugs.

Taehyung becomes faceless like the moon, losing himself to insanity. While Jungkook burns like the sun from all the lies and secrets he must carry. Will they make it out alive to reach their happy ending?

.CONTENTS AND WARNINGS.
There will only be one warning, which is this blanket warning right here. The following will have mentions of blood, semi-descriptive gore, psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual innuendos, suicidal thoughts/actions, borderline explicit violence, everlasting chaos, and 2-3 occurrences of smut. There will be a whole bunch of angst cause I'm a sadist, funny or unfunny situational jokes, major character deaths, cute fluff, and no happy endings.
