Now, as mentioned before, there are eight districts, each with their own deities and way of life. No matter where you go, crime is usually rife and the threat of disease still lurks around every corner. Each district is actually named after the deity they worship. Let's start with the first District, shall we?

The Hybreios District - Pride

Now, in Hybreios, there is no sense of humility. The family name is what's important, and keeping it pure and untained is their goal. Personal gain is all that matters, who needs others?

In Hybreios, the families who live here are most often well-off. They have good jobs like business owners, the best in their opinion, and expect their family to do whatever they can to keep their family name pristine and at the top because they're the best, obviously.

Here in Hybreios, someone might do the right thing but for the wrong reason. Like, they'd make sure a member of their family with a mental disability has the upmost care, but mainly to quell them as to not bring shame upon their family. Being part of the LGBTQ+ Community is 50/50 for them, it depends on the family. As long as you don't taint the family name, most might not care.

The crime in this area is usually to do with politics and trade, for your own gain. They're above petty crimes on the street, who do you take them for? And although shielded from the public eye, everyone knows they like to dabble in 'nose candy' and the most expensive of wine.

If you hadn't guessed, Hybreios is worshipped here. In almost every house, you'll find a shrine for her, each trying to out-do the others. She's the most powerful Goddess around and will bless those she deems as superior with power, wealth and even beauty. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

Ah, did I not mention that earlier? Whoops! Each religious district has someone they call their 'Blessed One' who can communicate with the Deities and is the Head of the Church. Now, what's next?

The Dedun District - Greed

Ah, Dedun. If you're an adrenaline junkie or want to get wealthy, this is the place to be. There's practically a split in this district between the ultra-rich and extremely poor, both desperate to get more.

Everything in Dedun is expensive so backstreet trading of goods has become more commonplace in the poorer regions but like Hybreios, big businesses are very, if not more, prevalent here.

Around here, gambling is the biggest crime. Gambling dens are found all throughout the District regardless of wealth, although you'll find more in richer areas. Along with this, loan sharks with unfairly high insurance rates are commonplace, mainly in poorer areas. And of course, with those wealthy business owners comes their affinity for that same 'nose candy' and whatever drink they choose, you best believe it's served in a large glass.

Dedun is the deity those worship here. The shrines are no match for those in Hybreios, depending on the area, but Dedun appreciates whatever gifts he's given. He's the wealthiest God and blesses those he deems fit with riches and an excess of what they desire. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

Hm, now where should we head?

The Invidia District - Envy

Oh, Invidia. A district full of jealousy, even for those closest to them. Here, everyone is extremely competitive, almost like Hybreios, as they're desperately trying to outdo others and get what they want.

Here, families could be completely normal and be well-off but that's not enough. They need what their neighbors have, because its better and it isn't fair that they don't have it.

What about crime? Well, thievery. Muggings in the street, although not usually resulting in casualty, are highly common as well as home break-ins. Does anyone try to stop these? Not really, if a looter comes across a burglary site then they'll have a turn. These people don't typically use drugs but if someone else has them, they want them, just whatever it is but stronger.

The deity worshipped here is Invidia, who wouldn't even look into the district if her shrines weren't perfect, so you can bet that they are. She's both beautiful and wealthy but not as much as the others which angers her greatly. If she deems someone worthy, she grants them whatever she thinks they deserve, although it's usually money or power. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

Ah, one of my favourite Districts is up next.

The Qadesh District - Lust

Lust. In these parts the most important thing is beauty and, well, sex. Brothels and clubs are open at all hours of the day and night and that's just the way they like it.

This district is average wealth-wise but most of the money is typically spent on the typical 'night life'. These places are open all the time, but as soon as the night hits, that's when those places are the busiest. The porn industry is very respected here as well.

The crimes that most plagues this area is prostitution and most people partake in the services provided but the chances of being assaulted or trafficked are much higher. Aphrodisiacs and drugs like GHB are big in this district, as well as fruity drinks and cocktails.

Here, they worship Qadesh. They adore her that much that there are even shrines in certain rooms of the clubs and brothels. She's definitely the most beautiful goddess and blesses those she chooses with beauty and luck with their sexual exploits. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says

Now... Where to next?

The Sekhmet District - Wrath

The Sekhmet District. This place is probably the most dangerous district, violence-wise. Everyone here? They're always angry. Tensions are high, so is fear. One little mistake and you could end up with a black eye, or worse. They fight a lot.

Families around her aren't.. Exactly friendly with their neighbors or even their own family members. They've been known to disown or even kill those in their family that are deemed as 'too weak', these disowned members often join or start up gangs.

Crime in this district was to be expected, especially violent crime. Gang violence, shootings, stabbings, assault are all incredibly common and public safety is practically non-existent. Heavy drinking of beer as well steroid use typically takes place around her.

The Diety celebrated and worshipped here is Sekhmet. By far, the most phsycially strong of the deities and the one with the shortest temper. Her shrines are minimal but she doesn't mind, as long as she's provided her sacrifices. She blesses those she deems as worthy with strength and victory in their battles. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

Which district should we head to now?

The Adephagia District - Gluttony

Around these parts, overindulgence and those who partake in it are highly respected, be it overeating or consumption of drugs, it doesn't matter.

While not the most wealthy of districts, the prices aren't the highest, especially on things like honey or sugar but things that the body needs more off are much more expensive. Most of the food is taken by those higher-up and wealthier so the poorer people end up usually fighting for food.

The most prevalent crimes here typically involve food, like poisonings or the production of illegal foods, although the sale and production of drugs is quite high here too. Party drugs, although any and all are consumed here, are a favourite and alcoholic beverages are always enjoyed, especially if they're sugary.

Worshipped around here is Adephagia, a goddess fond of overindulgence and pleasure, like her people. She requires a lot to please her in her shrines but when she is satisfied, she gladly blesses her worshippers with all the worldly pleasures they could desire. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

Oh, look. The last of the religious districts.

The Camazotz District - Sloth

In this district, barely anyone works and many are well off enough to do so. All they want to do is party and sleep, and they're held up purely by those at the bottom of the class system who are forced to work long hours, often with multiple jobs.

While this district has many wealthy citizens, the poor almost outnumber them at this point and are used as servants and almost slave labor in some areas. The entertainment industry is also quite big here.

Aside from the treatment of it's citizens, the main crimes that take place here piracy and selling illegal copies of TV shows and films. Like the Adephagia District, party drugs are commonly used as well as relaxants and hallucinogenics.

The deity worshipped here is Camazotz, a god who is fond of peace and quiet, unlike the unrest found around the city, so this is the best he can get. His shrines are the most minimal of the deities and those who get his attention are blessed with the feeling of pure relaxation and happiness. At least, that's what the 'Blessed One' says.

And now, we have reached the final district.

The Teresi District - Heretics

This district is the least respected of the others with them not believing in the deities and most of the infection seems to remain here, especially in the poorest of areas.

This area is the least wealthy, with even the richest members being nowhere near as wealthy as those in any of the other districts. Other districts, while able to trade with each other, refuse to trade with this district entirely, leaving them self-sufficient but without many items found commonly elsewhere.

The crimes you may find here are, well, relatively normal things but crime rates aren't as high as other districts. Many don't leave their homes in fear of getting sick, while others might turn to stealing to get their hands on necessities.

Here, no deity or god is worshipped. These people have no time to believe in those little stories. They have faith that the government will save them and fix this mess despite the corruption that many refuse to see.

Sacrifices

Depending on the deity you want to bless you, the sacrifice or sacrifices you must make vary.

Hybreios:

- For power, you must give her blood and valuable incense
- For beauty, she requires precious jewels and again, more incense
- For wealth, you must give her gold coins and incense. (These coins are said to be doubled, if not tripled)
- For just her blessing, a mix of incense and burning an object that brings you shame should do the trick

Dedun:

- For riches, provide him with pieces of jewelery and burn some sage since he enjoys the smell
- For your desires to be met, give him one thing that you want and burn it
- For just his blessing, provide him with gold and some food, preferably meat

Invidia:

- Due to her fickleness, not many know what she even likes or deems as worthy.
- A mix of incense and precious metals is said to have the best results

Qadesh:

- For beauty, give her many different perfumes and flowers
- For luck in your exploits, burn an object that reminds you of your desire and provide her with more perfumes
- For just her blessing, provide her with wine and rose petals

Sekhmet:

- For strength, she demands blood and beer
- For victory in battle, she requires more blood and in most cases, a body or two
- For just her blessing, provide her with some of all three of these and she will be pleased. (Blood, beer and a dead body)

Adephagia:

- For worldly pleasures, provide her with, at least one, jar of honey, sugar and add in some alcohol. For better results, provide more
- For just her blessing, provide her with an excess of some of your favourite things to indulge in

Camazotz:

- For relaxation, burn lavender and provide him with a warm cup of tea
- For just his blessing, provide him with incense and more lavender as well as some red wine
