Tiny bubbles of air sparkled inside Taehyung's glass, his fingers wrapped around the handle as he swished around the rose coloured wine. It was probably the most interesting thing to do at this party whilst others simply stood around in small groups chattering away.

Standing idly beside one of the many different buffet tables, Taehyung cast his eyes to the hall. It was grand to say the least. Tables took up most of the vast space, left with tablecloths and daring guests to ruin the perfectly polished shine of the cutlery and wine glasses with their fingerprints.

At the sides of the room were floor to ceiling french doors, left slightly ajar, but still guarded by built men none-the-less. Taehyung knew if he were to scope out the area or find any information he would have to find the right people or wait for the right moment.

Fixing up his suit tie, Taehyung let out a small huff of annoyance as a familiar blonde female strut his way, hips moving side to side as her heels clicked along the polished marble floor. Her hair was once again lightly curled as it fell softly over her shoulders, dress tight fitting against her slender form.

"Taehyung!" she chirped happily, finally locating the male in the crowd.

Quick to bring a fake smile to his lips, Taehyung straightened up his posture, "Summer." he greeted her, bringing his glass of champagne to his lips as he downed the rose coloured liquid in one shot.

Tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, Summer pursed her lips, "Sorry for leaving you on your own for so long..." she apologised, eyes locking with Taehyung's as she moved in closer.

Taehyung turned his head a little, "Don't worry about it." he paused, drawing in a deep breath of air as he channeled out his displeasure, "I can get by just fine." he winked, turning to the side momentarily as he placed down his empty wine glass on a waiter tray passing by.

Summer gave a nod of approval, "Good, because I've got a couple more guests to greet." she explained, eyes momentarily flickering over to the small group of people approaching her. Quickly, she patted down her fitted dress, straightening herself up as she plastered a smile across her face. "If you'll excuse me for one more moment, I'll meet you back at our table soon, okay?"

Taehyung gave a tight lipped smile, "Sure."

And just like that, Summer waved him off, quickly strutting her way over to the next group of guests. Frowning, Taehyung had his suspicions that this girl was related to the inner networkings of this group. From the way she was escorted out from the streets just the other day, to the way she danced from group to group greeting each and every person in the dinning hall.

Taehyung turned to head back over to the buffet but flinched at the sound of crackling through his earpiece. After subtly placing a hand against his ear, the crackling subsided and Hoseok's voice rang through the other end of the line,"Tae, now's your chance." Hoseok communicated, watching through the camera planted on Taehyung's suit, "There's two men heading out past the dinning hall doors, the guards have moved aside for the time being." he announced.

Taehyung dropped his hand back to his side, eyes narrowing in determination as he spotted the now unguarded door. "Got it." he replied, taking long steps in his powerful stride as he wasted no time in making his way towards the doors.

A voice emerged through the earpiece once again, "Jungkook's sitting with me in the van." Hoseok began, pausing before he continued, "He had a quick look at the monitors whilst you were roaming around earlier... he says he recognises a couple of people from a local gang, but most people are unknown."

Taehyung didn't speak a word, instead giving a nod of acknowledgement as he continued making his way towards the entrance of the hallway, making it in almost no time thanks to his long legs and graceful stride.

Swiftly, Taehyung slipped his way down the hallway. Unlike the dinning hall, the floor was now carpeted in an almost velvet red, polished door handles matching the small golden chandelier hanging in the centre of the hallway. It seemed to almost continue for miles all until Taehyung caught wind of two males communicating around the final bend.

With footsteps almost as light as a feather, Taehyung made it to the end of the hall, resting his back up against the wall as he slightly peered around the corner. He drew in a large breath as he kept silent, gaze falling over the two figures.

The two men wore a typical suit and tie, and Taehyung couldn't help but notice the slight ink of a tattoo appearing out from one of the men's sleeve as he reached inside his suit jacket. Taehyung watched on with furrowed brows as the first man slipped a few pages of documents out from his jacket, quickly handing them over to the second man with no further words exchanged.

Narrowing his eyes, Taehyung was quick to recognise the symbol printed on one of the sheets of paper, "Jeon documents?" he uttered to himself, leaning slightly further around the corner to try and take a better look. He frowned, "Why would the Jeons be here-"

Out of the blue, Taehyung felt a small tap against his shoulder. His heart leapt into a racing fit as he turned on his feet, eyes growing wide as Summer arrived unannounced behind him. He watched as the girl plastered a fake smile across her face, and for a second, Taehyung almost forgot how to breathe. Oh God, he prayed to not let this all go down hill, don't let that happen, not now... not when some members of the Jeon syndicate are possibly attending this gathering.

Taehyung was frozen, eyes wide open in an expression of stunned surprise, and although he was staring straight at Summer, he appeared to almost not register her presence at all.

"Taehyung!" she chirped, a slight hint of annoyance in her tone, "Fancy running into you here! You do know the party is that way, right?" she spoke through gritted teeth, gesturing back down the hall as she began to tug him back towards the main room.

Her words took Taehyung by surprise, and before he knew it, he was once again standing in the dinning hall. Brushing down his suit and nervously straightening his tie, Taehyung's lips contorted into an awkward smile. He had mastered faking expressions, but for the first time, he felt exposed, like his acting just wasn't good enough.

It was obvious to him... probably even Hoseok at this stage knew that this mission had gone bust.

Taking in a breath of air, Taehyung tried to maintain his composure as Summer was quick to call over one of the waiters. The man swiftly strode over to her side, balancing a polished silver tray carrying a couple of empty wine glasses. In the man's other hand was a small bottle of wine, slightly glistening under the overhead light of the chandelier.

The man began to pour a glass, the bubbles sparkling as the glass began to fill. Taehyung wasn't thrilled though, adams apple bobbing in his throat as he realised what this most likely was.

Summer wrapped her dainty fingers around the wine glass before holding it out towards Taehyung, "You simply must try this wine," she swished the liquid around inside the glass, "I tried it earlier and it's divine."

Before Taehyung could even part his lips to speak, Hoseok's voice erupted through his earpiece, "Taehyung don't. It's not from the place, it's a set up."

Taehyung froze, hesitating before he reached out to take the glass. This was one big dilemma. He could either drink the wine and possibly get drugged, or flee the scene. He let out a sigh, there was no way he could expose himself, Bangtan were a neutral group and he didn't want anyone to suddenly view them as hostile or a potential threat. If he did that, everyone in the gang could be put in serious danger. Especially now that the Jeons were possibly involved.

So straightening himself up, Taehyung regained his composure. His smile no longer appeared fake, his movements no longer stiff, "Don't mind if I do." he grinned, slipping the glass from Summer's hand before bringing it to his lips.

Watching on with a stunned expression, Summer couldn't help but gawk as Taehyung downed the entire glass of wine. She didn't know whether he was smart, or just plain stupid.

With his hands resting under the back of his head, Jungkook had lay himself down over the backseats of the van. His eyes remained glued to the roof as he let out a huff, some of his hair falling away from his forehead as he did so.

Jungkook let out a sigh, "Hoseok how long until we-"

"Dammit!" Hoseok exclaimed from the front seat, his panicked voice causing Jungkook to shoot up in his seat.

The brunette snapped his attention over to the male, "Hoseok... don't tell me-"

"He took it." Hoseok spoke frantically, voice no longer raised but still alarmed none the less. With jittery movements, Hoseok threw his headphones off from his head, fingers typing away at the keyboard of his laptop as his eyes scanned the screen. "The bloody idiot." he began to curse under his breath, "I'm tracking him... and the girl's being pushy."

From the back of the van, Jungkook shot forwards as he grabbed ahold of the back of Hoseok's seat, leaning over the male's shoulder as he took a look at the screen. With a few different tabs open, it was clear that Hoseok had managed to hack into the security cameras of the dinning hall, closely monitoring Taehyung's figure.

Jungkook's expression fell, "He doesn't look too good." It was obvious to the both of them that Taehyung didn't have much time before he passed out. Even though Taehyung was still walking fine on his own, Jungkook didn't fail to notice the slight falter in the male's steps. "This is bad."

Hands freezing over the keyboard, Hoseok clicked his tongue against his cheek, shaking his head in annoyance, "Taehyung... this is an order." he spoke lowly, surprising Jungkook with his unusually stern expression. And then, Hoseok spoke the words, "Abandon mission."

Watching over the cameras, Jungkook noticed how Taehyung immediately pulled himself away from Summer's side, quickly making his way towards the only open exit of the dinning hall. His steps were becoming more awkward, the male slowly loosing his composed stance. Jungkook found himself holding his breath as Summer re-approached him, latching onto his arm and leaning into his side almost like a couple, but to his surprise, Taehyung was able to casually pry her off, even managing to slip past one security guard on his way out. It was nothing short of impressive.

"I'm going out to get him." Jungkook spoke quickly, not even waiting for Hoseok's response as he latched a hand around the door handle, sliding open the side of the van as he jumped out of the vehicle.

Feet landing heavily against the pavement, Jungkook dashed towards the front entrance of the venue. He came to a stop just outside, standing under the pools of light from the street lamps lining the paths. He tapped a foot impatiently against the ground, biting at his lower lip as he watched the venue, and finally, the glass doors swung open.

From the entrance emerged Taehyung. He dragged his feet over the pavement, beads of sweat littering at his forehead as he began to tremble. The male was almost breathless, eyes lifeless as his gaze weakly met with Jungkook's. Taehyung was surprised to say the least, that Jungkook was the one to meet him at the exit. All he could do was stare at the brunette as his vision began to speckle with black dots, focus becoming blurred as he felt his legs grow weak. And before Taehyung could even make it to Jungkook's side, he slipped into unconsciousness.

Jungkook sprint over to Taehyung's side as the male's legs gave out from underneath him, body crashing against the pavement. His breathing was shallow as Jungkook reached his side, falling to his knees as he brought Taehyung's head into his lap. With cautious movements, Jungkook swept Taehyung's hair from his face.

This is what Namjoon meant by skills and loyalty,

"This guy is truely trustworthy."
