I remember waiting for new year. My parents told me a band was playing for new year. I wasnt very excited. I was bored. Anyway, when it was time we switched the TV on and watched the concert.

My parents, their friends, and their friends kids, well, they had heard it all before. They grew up with it. But, I was on the edge of my seat. The lyrics, marvellous, the music, magnificent, the... Hair? The hair was amazing. The eyes were beautiful, the man at the front seemed odd though, like he wasn't supposed to be there, like an old, lovely painting, with one tiny part restored, the rest remaining original.

"It's hard to believe it's been twenty years since Freddie died" somebody said.

Freddie? Who was this Freddie? The name of the band was Queen + Adam Lambert. Hmm... Queen... Something was familiar.

then they played don't stop me now. I loved that song! i must have looked strange. Im sure my eyes were popping out of their sockets. This band did all my favourite songs!

At at the end of the concert I downloaded all the Queen songs I could find and googled the band. I found that the original singer, Freddie Mercury, died, sadly, and Adam Lambert was singing with the band now. I also found that their original bassist, John Deacon, retired. That explained a bit.
