"What do you mean by bad news?" I ask.

"Well, he's one of the most popular and careless guys in school. I don't really think he's dangerous because I haven't heard about him hurting any girl physically or anything like that but don't make a mistake of developing feelings for him because he will break your heart, then step on the pieces." She said as I wondered how true it was.

"But... Isn't he your boyfriend's friend." I ask

"Thank God you said my boyfriend's friend not mine. I don't necessarily like his friends but I love Seun so we have learned to meet each other halfway." She said

"Since when have you guys been dating?" I ask finally getting in the mood of gisting as I sipped my coke.

"4 months. I met him when I was processing my admission. He helped me." She said.

"ooh okay, that's cool." I said running out of replies as I kept looking back to check the guys but if I was being honest, I knew I was looking at only one particular guy. It was stupid since I didn't even know his name yet.

"So tell me, do you have a boyfriend?" She ask nodding her head to 2baba music "Oyi" which was playing from the loud speakers.

"Nope."I said popping the p.

"Hmm, really. A fine girl like you with that gorgeous figure." she said adding a wink.

"Really." I said raising an eyebrow not because I did not know I was a fine girl but because I didn't think I had a gorgeous figure. I mean I was not tall but not really short either, I had a big butt and a flat breast but thankfully padded bra's always came to my rescue.

"Lol, yes nah. Let's dance!" she said immediately the Dj changed to music to one of olamide's music that I didn't even know the title. Everyone jumped up at the jam and we started dancing. Some guys started showing off their Madu and shaku shaku while the girls started twerking, I did a few shaku shaku of my own as we continue dancing. After dancing for while, Seun joined us as i moved away from the dance floor to one of the empty couch.

"Hey." Someone said sliding beside me as I turned to face him since Dupzy was dancing with her boyfriend: Seun.

"Hi." I said almost losing my breath as I turned around to come face to face with "No name yet" guy.

"How are you doing." He said dragging a puff from his cigarette as I coughed at the smoke he released.

"Sorry." He said putting off the cigarette.

"It's alright." I said with watery eyes.

"I'm Tolu. What's your name?" he ask now drinking God knows what from a red cup.

"Sarah." I said starting to think that I should run as far as I can from this guy. He certainly didn't look like someone I would want to be seen with. "He even smoke." I thought to myself.

"Such a churchy name but I guess it's cool." He commented.

"Yea." I muttered not sure what to say to his comment.

"You are Dupe's Friend, right?" He said confirming it.

"Yes." I said running my hands through my head nervously.

"Well I will get to the point. I think you are a fine girl and I would like to get close with you." He said smoothly.

"Ooh really." I said not knowing what to say.

"Yes, can you give me your number?" He ask.

"Hmm." I said thinking about it as he said.

"Doesn't matter, I'm going to get it anyways." He said smugly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I said Irritated.

"I meant if you don't give me the number, I'm going to get it from someone else. It's not so hard to get contacts around here especially for someone like me." He said as he drank from his red cup again and it was obvious he was getting drunk it probably even drunk.

"Where's Dupzy when i need her." I thought as I realized I was scared of this guy. Thankfully, Dupzy came to my rescue just then.

"Hi." She simply said.

"Dupe." He said in acknowledgement as he stood up.

" See you around Sarah." He said standing up as he winked at me. I could sense the tense air between the three of us as he walked away.

"What happened?" She ask as I shook my head wearily before replying with a simple "I don't know."

"Are you ready to go?" She ask as I nodded my head, grateful for the change in discussion.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting." She said as we walked out but not before she kissed Seun goodnight.

"It's no problem." I said checking my time since it was already dark outside but since it was a school environment, It was still bubbly with student walking around. Some taking night walks with friends or boyfriends, some out to get dinner, some just out strolling and some getting to their hostels like I.

"Thanks for coming. Bye." Dupe said as I got into a cab that would get me to my hostel in a few minutes.

"I had fun. Thanks for the invite." I said smiling at her as she smiled back in response.

"You are welcome, goodnight." She said as the cab driver started the car. She waved before walking away.

Throughout the short ride to my hostel, all I could think of was Tolu. It was absolutely stupid since I just met him a few days ago but It was impossible to deny that I was attracted to him. It was impossible not to with his handsome face and perfect stature. He was tall, not the thin skinny type of tall but that kind of tall with a good build. If there was to be a player, he had the perfect looks to be and I had no excuse to say I didn't know he was one.

He had the looks, he sat with 3 girls at the party. Girls who didn't look like his friends with the way they roamed their hands over him, sat on his laps and I even saw him kiss one. His flow as he sat with me as if he had done it thousands of time.

I was very insightful and I knew things. "I know a player when I see one. You are going to stay away from him." I told myself as I began an internal battle with myself.

"You should stay away from him, it shouldn't be difficult. You are not in the same year or even department so you won't do same course." I thought.

"Yes. I know but if I do come across him, I can say hi. I mean it's just friendship nah." I told myself.

"Sure but you have to be careful because this guy just wants to get into your pants. He doesn't look like someone who needs Friends. He has more than enough." The logical me thought.

"But what's so bad In that. It just means that he's actually attracted to me. Isn't that a good thing?" I ask myself.

"It is if he actually wanted a relationship with you but its obvious this guy isn't. He just wants sex and besides why am I thinking about this, I haven't even know him for a month. Remember,you are here in school for 3 purposes: Learn, have good grades and have fun but that fun should be limited and I don't think it includes getting close to a player with an attractive face because we won't want you to start catching feelings and getting heartbroken at the end of it all." The logical part of me said.

"True." I muttered as I alighted from the cab, paid my fare and walked into the hostel.

"I would stay away from him, he doesn't look like someone I would want to be seen with anyways." I told myself as I shivered at what my mom would think if she knew I was thinking of being friends with someone who smokes, was involved in premarital sex and God knows what else.

"It would be in my best interest to stay away from him." I muttered to myself as I walked into my room but deep down I knew that It would be hard.

"I'm back!!" I screamed playfully as I entered the room.

A'N: This is just a filler chapter. I really hope none of you judge Sarah. She was born and raised in a christian home, she saw those things as bad and even though we all try to think it's okay to do those stuff's. Some of us are still judgemental even if we don't say it out loud.

I'm so excited to write this book because I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. I'm writing something entirely different from what I'm used to. Tighten your seat belt for the exciting ride.
