ISOLATED?
It's a mask I wear each day,
I take it off when night fades away
,and when the morning light does gleam,
it's back again, part of my scheme.
Not knowing what to say,
I stay quiet, words decay
,wanting to scream, but no one hears,
they might think I hide my fears.
When I speak, I don't look at you,
don't worry, it's normal, I'm just passing through,
because everything can feel this way,
no labels, no need to say.
You're nervous, I see your hands,
maybe I need to step away from the plans,
just for a while, to feel the air,
to let go of stress, to be aware.
