Ah yes, one of the more well-known Studio Ghibli films has been officially eliminated from the competition. That's right, Ponyo has been eliminated from the Studio Ghibli competition. And guys, let me share with you a little secret: This was the very first Studio Ghibli movie I saw. That's right, Ponyo was the very movie that sparked my interest in Studio Ghibli and I am very disappointed to see it eliminated.
