The sun hit Ally's eyes as it was melting the snow in the crowded town of Aftermore. Across the snowy fields was a more joyful town, Evermore. Ally sighed at the sight of the merry lights taken down by the people of the town. Only one, store still had the lights. She put her face across the glass walls. "Look at all those people!" Ally ran inside, to see what the crowd of people were looking at. A skinny young man was at the counter. "Okay! Settle down everyone!" He started. "Okay, whoever guesses how many jelly beans are in the jar, gets a magical phone." The crowd of people ooohed and aaaahd. Except for Jesslyn, Sarah, and Annabell. The all walked away with their noses in their air, like the aristocrats they are.

Jesslyn scoffed at the sight of Ally.
"It's not 'magical'." Jesslyn said. "Yes it is!" Ally argued. "And I'm going to try to get the magical phone!" Jesslyn turned around with a evil smile. "No, we're going to win." Ally turned around to see that she was the first in line now. She went up to the man. "Hi, I'm Ally." Ally said, stalling and counting the jellybeans. The man looked at her with a confused expression. "Okaaaay. I'm Joe." Ally nodded. "Okay, so what's your number. Ally just sat there and nodded. Jesslyn have her a push. "GO AHEAD WASTE MY TIME!!!" Jesslyn yelled. "Cut it out." Said a security guard, giving Jesslyn a nasty look. "Why should I listen to you? Jesslyn said in a bratty tone. "That's it." The security guard took the girls out. Ally stuck out her tounge. "692 jellybeans." Said Ally. "Yes, right!" Said the man.

Ally took the phone to her house.
