Hiro's POV

I woke up that morning feeling refreshed and ready for school. It's sort of weird remembering how I felt after school yesterday. I turned to my brothers bed and I saw he wasn't there. Strange.. Well not really because Tadashi loves helping out with aunt Cass in the morning. He's definitely not like other guys his age. So I got dressed and raced down the steps for breakfast, checking my feed, liking a picture Tip posted, and commenting on Penny's text. I went around the bend and saw Tadashi helping set stuff out as usual for the cafe. But something was different, Honey Lemon was there to help him. He stared off at her, placing a strawberry cake on the stand. Honey looked at him with a smirk, "What?" Tadashi continued to stare with practically hearts in his eyes, "I just can't believe how I ended up having a special girl like you." She blushed red smiling at him, "Tadashi..I can't imagine having anyone but you." I just continued to poke my head looking at them, forcing myself to not make a sound.

My brother took her hand and spun her around. She giggled and started dancing to the low tune of the speakers, the song "Thinking Out Loud" playing on the radio. Tadashi leaned in and kissed her cheek softly and tenderly. I looked away and thought about what I saw. He truly loves her..he really does. Honey held her gaze in her boyfriend's eyes, "Tadashi..there's no one else..in this whole world I want in my life but you." They stared in silence for a long time, "Me too." They kissed and that's when I came out of the shadows. The two didn't notice at first and held their positions. I spoke in a timid way, "Good morning." My voice cracked and that made me sound even more like a child. They pulled away quickly and nervously laughed. Honey smiled, "Good morning, Hirro." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and Tadashi turned away, covering his blush. He looked back and smiled, "You want some breakfast?" I grinned, "Totally!" Honey squeezed my brothers hand, "I'll go get Hirro a honey bun." Tadashi laughed, "Okay, my 'Honey Bun'."

She giggled and pulled away her grasp and went into the kitchen. He sighed, on cloud 9. I crossed my arms, "Dude, you're so in love." Dashi swayed, "I am, Hiro. I really am!" He sat down and rubbed his arm looking away, "I need to tell you something, Hiro...something important." I agreed seeing that it may be something serious, "Sure, anything, Tadashi." My brother hesitantly moved closer to me, pulling my head close to him. He looked around himself before whispering what he had to say into my ear. It was a lengthy, intriguing message going into my brain to process. I was immediately shocked but not a surprised shock, more like a this-can't-be-real feeling. I look at him and he seemed to have been keeping that in and hidden for awhile, and glad to get it off his chest. He suppressed what he had to say, "So, you're gonna keep this between us, right?" I nodded still trying to envision what he told me. My brother waited patiently for me to respond and I finally got it out, "Keep what between us?"

I smirked at him and we did our handshake. Tadashi has grown so much and I can honestly say, not being full of myself, I look up to him and say he's one of the most 100% real man in the world. He was loyal, honest, kind, hardworking, and such a dork sometimes. I can't imagine my life without him. So Honey Lemon soon came back bringing me a bagel and some milk, "So, there are no more honey buns..and I wasn't sure what you wanted, but I made it out of love." I took it from her and smiled cheerfully, "It's great, thank you Honey Lemon." She gave a bright smile wrapping her arm around Tadashi as he did the same, giving me a wink. I gave him the okay sign with my fingers and sat down to eat, pretty quickly, then I headed out the door to meet up with Wilbur.

Tip's POV

I was dropped off by my mom at the school. I was by myself because Riley wasn't with me and she's who I pretty much hang out with. I went over to the school gate and leaned against it. I was going to pull out my phone until-

"Hey." I jumped looking at who was beside me. It was Leila. I tried to smile the best I could for her, "Hi." She asked, "Tip Tucci, right?" I slowly answered with a raised eyebrow, "..How did you-"

"I know people." She swished her hair from her eyes. Leila was a creepy kind of character, but there was no arguing she was pretty. She had a mystical look to her, slightly pale, but her dark hair made up for it. I can see how Jamie would like her, although I know he has feelings for Riley. Suddenly, I recognized a laugh from across the way. Hiro and Wilbur were walking towards the school joking about something. His smile gave me butterflies up my body and his eyes tickled my heart. Ugh, why was he so hot?! "So you like Hiro Hamada, huh?" Soon chills went up my spine as Leila spoke those words, giving me a sneaky grin. I looked at her, then Hiro, then back again whispering, "How did you know that??" She crossed her arms, "I can just tell. And I know what you're thinking, 'But I can't do that to Penny Forester! She will hate me!' I say who cares what she thinks. You had just as much chance as she did, maybe even more. I wouldn't blame you if you kissed him right there."

I felt uneasy about what she was saying, "I don't know.." Leila frowned, "Don't you like him?" I paused for a moment and turned toward his direction and his eyes made contact with mine, "Of course." Leila shoved me starting to walk away, "Then I see no issue." She was gone. I continued to look at Hiro and my heart started to beat faster. He is so cute! Hiro was walking to me and I wasn't sure what to do. Should I kiss him and go behind Penny's back? Soon he was in front of me and smiled, "Hey Tip!" I didn't answer as I stared at him. He looked concerned, "Tip?" I shook out of my daze, "Sorry, I was...just thinking about something. I'm good though." Hiro grabbed his smile again, "Ok, good." Wilbur patted his bookbag, "Hey Hiro, you coming?" He grinned, "Yeah I'm coming," he waved at me, "I'll see ya later?" I nodded, "Definitely."

Soon he walked away and I heaved out a sigh. Man, it's hard to like a guy that's dating a person in our friend group. I can't believe I almost kissed him, I would've regretted it. Leila had some twisted stuff up her sleeve. Her motives are a little off, hopefully I can talk to others about this.

No One's POV

"Don't worry Jamie. All you have to do is walk up to her, give her the poem, and walk away." Jamie held the poem standing on the sidewalk staring at the school, "Are you sure this will work? I mean, what if she doesn't like it?" Jack Frost made a face, "Are you kidding me? She'll love it! Now get to school young man." He pushed Jamie forward and smiled. The sophomore gulped and breathed in feeling more comfortable. Then he saw her, she looked so pretty. The thought of her made him smile and he held the note softly. Just as he was about to call her name, someone came in front of him, "Hey Jamie." He found quickly it was Leila. She gave him a thoughtful grin and he tried to smile back, "Oh, hey Leila, what's up?" She batted her eyelashes, "I just wanted to see you, and what's that?" She pointed at the note for Riley and Jamie immediately got nervous, "Oh this? Um, that's just some dumb thing I wrote."

"A love poem! Aw you shouldn't have!" She leaned closer to him and went to reach the note. Jamie quickly put it in his back pocket, "Heh heh, well Leila," moving away from her, "I have to get to class, okay? Maybe I'll see you later." He started to walk away and Leila crossed her arms, "Maybe you will." Finally, Jamie got away from her. He didn't know what her deal was, but he didn't like it. Now he just had to find where Riley was. He scoured the area and couldn't find her anywhere. Then he saw her again, she was with Tip walking into the school. "Dang it!" Jamie exclaimed and he raced over to the schools doors, trying to catch up. His lungs burned as he reached the doors, his feet ached, but his mind was focused. He wiped his palm sweat on his jeans, taking in deep breaths standing inside the entryway of the school.

"So, where were we?" Jamie looked over with a gasp at who appeared next to him. He was utterly frightened, "What?! How did you-?" Leila was leaning on the wall holding a straight face, "I was on the track team. Anyways, who was that guy you were with across the street this morning?" Jamie wasn't sure why she was asking that question but answered, "You mean Jack Frost?" She nodded solemnly, "Jack Frost...was he here at this school before?"

"He was but he graduated last year." Leila uncrossed her arms, "Oh, that's cool.." Jamie wanted to get out of there and maybe catch up to Riley, "Uh, it was nice chatting with you Leila, but I have to go." Leila replied back casually, "Riley is not going to be there. She'll be off to class once you arrive." He stopped in his tracks puzzled. Jamie couldn't believe it. How did she know this stuff?? He argued trying to hide his blush, "How do you know that I-" She stopped him and walked toward Jamie giving a persuasive look, "Listen Jamie, Riley does not deserve what you have to offer for her. She's just some shy girl that doesn't know what to do with herself," she laid her arms on his shoulders moving closer to him, "I'm the one you should give that letter to, because...you want me, and we both know it." She battered her eyes at him like she had done before.

"Alright kids, enough is enough." They both turned and saw one of the hall monitors standing behind them, "Time for you kids to get to class, or you're gonna be marked down late." Jamie made that his chance to escape, pulling Leila's arms off him, "Well, you heard him. I gotta go or I'm gonna be late. See ya." He quickly walked off to class glad to get out of there, while Leila stood there watching...

Dash's POV

I stared off at the school as the car rolled into a parking spot. I unbuckled my seatbelt as my parents told me to have a great day. My sister whispered into my year, "Good luck with Vanellope." She gave me a wink and I said, "Thanks, Vi." I hopped out of the car and shut the door as I saw them drive away. I turned around and smiled seeing some of my bros calling me over. I fist bumped them and received some high fives. We walked onto the field just standing there acting like goofballs. The Sugar Rush Girls were watching us from afar waving. I heard Astro, my friend say, "They're so hot! I loved to date one of them." Chet, also in our group comments, "Well, I heard that Taffyta has the hots for Dashie boy here." My eyes widened at his statement. Taffyta, into me? She's pretty I guess, but I'd never date her. Astro looked over at them, "Yeah, it's kind of obvious how she puts herself out there."
I turned my head in that direction as well, but I wasn't looking at Taffyta. Vanellope was leaning against the wall outside the school, beautiful as ever, all alone. My heart leaped out to her, and I looked at the boys and said, "Hey guys, I'll be right back..I have to do something real quick." They didn't argue, however; they teased me saying, "He's gonna go talk to his GIRLFRIEND." I rolled my eyes, ignoring their comments and sped over to V. I sprinted over to her with my quick agility and reached her, casually rested my arm on the wall facing my love, "Hey!" Shoot! That came out too needy! Just smile to charm her, I told myself instead of trying to scold what I had done. I grinned at her and she smiled at me, noticing I was there. Vanellope replied back, "Hey Dash, what's up?" My heart fluttered when she said my name. I answered her question staring into her eyes, "Well, you know, trying to survive the next day of school." She groaned, "Same! I can't believe summer is already over!"

"I know right? It just flew by so quick." Vanellope sighed, "Yeah." It was silent for a moment as she looked towards the sky and I concentrated on her complexion, her beauty.. She continued on, looking a little more serious, "It's kinda nice to really talk to you without sports being our only topic. You know..just getting to know you," when I didn't respond, she shook her head, "Never mind, that was dumb." I grab her hand to get her attention, "No way, I get it." V breathed in shock turning back to me with a form of blush filling her face. Seeing it, my face grew red and I pulled my arm away, quickly adding to what I said, "W-What you said about we should talk less about sports stuff all the time." She nodded with a smile, "Y-Yeah, definitely." Suddenly, I heard from behind me my friends awwing and oohing at the two of us. I groan at them playfully knowing that they were just being funny. The Sugar Rush Girls however looked upset, especially Taffyta. Knowing she may have a crush on me, I knew her jealousy could become unstable. I don't want her bullying like she did to V in 5th grade.. It was after a hard hockey practice during winter break....

Vanellope went over to her bench to take her skates off. As she was taking them off, a shadow came above her. She looked up and saw it was Dash holding a cup of water out to her, "Good job out there, V." She smiled, receiving the cup. He sat down next to her while she replied, "Thanks, you did great too." She took a sip from the cup when Dash continued, "If it wasn't a boys only hockey team, you'd definitely be a great fit in our group. You are pretty fast." Vanellope faintly blushed, but then Dash added quickly, "Well, you know, for a girl." Vanellope rolled her eyes playfully and slugged him in the arm, who was grinning, "Well says the guy who is genetically fast!"

"Hey, hey! I was only kidding!" They both laughed and looked at each other.

"Hey Glitch! That was a pretty good run but just wait until next time." It was Taffyta. Vanellope looked away, her earlier happiness slowly fading, "What do you want?" Taffyta smirked, "Just to congratulate you for your good effort and CHEATING with your stupid illness!" She stood now, "It's not an illness, Taffyta! I was born this way." Crumbelina replied back, "Then it's a birth mutation. Something from your mom made you turn into a freak!" Vanellope didn't respond closing her eyes. Taffyta laughed, "Oh! That's right, you don't have a mom, or a dad! You live in that crummy orphanage where you should belong." Dash stepped in front of Vanellope, "Ok, that's enough! Leave her alone, or I'll send my dad to teach you girls a lesson." That made them shut up. Candlehead peeped out, "I'm sorry!" They walked away quickly. Dash watched them go and turned around, "You okay, V?" Vanellope smiled at him, "Yeah, thanks Dash." Dash high fived her, "Anytime."

Watching her smile at me, my heart pitter pattered as I smiled like a dork at her. Hopefully I can get the chance to ask her out, or I might just die of lovesickness.
