Hiro's POV

I had a great night with Tadashi and Aunt Cass eating her special hot wings that make our faces numb. After that mouth burning meal, Tadashi and I headed upstairs to watch a movie for the night. At 11, we went to bed but I didn't go to sleep, although it was tempting to.

My eyelids drooped as I scanned my phone when I got a text from Penny:
I'm really nervous about tonight.

When I read the text, I felt bad for her, but I couldn't help but feel the same way. Sure we've done this same thing before..but Leila was almost stronger than Pitch. She..manipulated my thoughts and the things I held captive to others she spilled them all out and exposed them.

All I wrote back was:
Me too.

After an hour of torture, keeping myself awake, the clock struck midnight and I knew it was time to go. I went into the closet and grabbed my purple metal suit and put it on. I couldn't have done it earlier since Tadashi had no idea I was doing this whole thing tonight. I placed the helmet on my head and and stared into the mirror. It's go time. I turn towards the window and slowly push it open when suddenly a voice came from the other side of the room, "Hiro?"

My body slammed on the brakes and turned around to see Tadashi looking right at me, "What are you doing?" I wasn't sure what to do, "Uh..nothing I was just-" Then there was an annoying caw of some sort coming from the window. It sounded a lot like Wilbur. I winced. Ugh, they're here. I put my face out the window and see them all looking at me. I shush them, "Guys, keep it down!" I turn back to Tadashi and he looked worried. I sigh, "Tadashi, we found who was hiding Jamie who was missing for the past two days. It's that Leila girl who we were trying to stay awake from last night. This is our only chance to find him and they need my help."

I wasn't sure how he'd react or become a mother hen, till I felt his body wrap around me in a hug. He spoke quietly, "PLEASE be careful. I can't lose you too." I hugged him back sighing that he wasn't upset, "You won't." We parted and I climbed out the window and down the ladder.

No One's POV

Hiro came down the ladder in his suit as the rest of them watched. The genius was fully down and looked around at them. Violet was in her super suit, Penny had her scooter which honestly was only useful for the escape, and Wilbur had a button. Tip and Riley didn't have anything and well the ice powered college couple were just fine. Hiro groaned, "Really Wilbur? A button??" Violet looked just as annoyed, "That's what we said until he pressed the button."

Then to demonstrate, Wilbur did to reveal a Time Machine sitting behind them. Wilbur explained, with hand motions, "There's a cloaking device on it that my dad installed to make sure no one stole the time machine and we can use this to have a easy passage to go find Jamie without suspicion and for the getaway."

Everyone nodded as he repeated everything from 3 minutes prior. Hiro smiled a little, "That's actually smart.." Penny was shocked, "Did you just say Wilbur was SMART?" Tip agreed with Penny, "I was just gonna say, like that's sort of far out from usual.." Wilbur pouted, "Hey, I am smart other times too." Violet rubbed his back, "Yes you are, sweetie."

After that sappy moment, Riley asked anxiously, "Well, are we ready to go?" Hiro called out to her, "Yeah, let me just get Baymax while you guys get in the time machine." Everyone obeyed and one by one, they all managed to get in the time machine even though there may have had limited seating. As they were getting in, Jack felt another wrenching pain but now it spread to his head, receiving a shrill screech fill his mind. He grunted slightly but tried to keep it hidden, not wanting to worry anyone. Jack shook it off and hopped into the vehicle.

Hiro came back and hopped into the time machine. Tip questioned, "Uh, who's flying Baymax?" Hiro answered, "Oh, I programmed Baymax to follow the shuttle with his scanner." Everyone oohed and then Wilbur cloaked the device and went to start up the engine. He asked, "Uh, Tip, can you search up Jamie's location with your phone app?"

"Absolutely," she said, searching it on her phone and finally giving it to Wilbur. Elsa spoke out from her quietness, "So what's the plan, Hiro?" The fifteen year old turned to her and spoke to everyone, "Well, from what I heard from Violet from her last fight with Leila is that all she wants is Jack Frost. So Jack will lead in most of the fight since it's his battle, while everyone else is there to outnumber her. Elsa will use her ice powers on the ground, Violet with her invisibility and force fields, me with Baymax, and the rest of you.." He paused trying to think, "do whatever you can to help." Then he looked at one specific person, "As for you, Riley, you'll go and retrieve Jamie from where he is and get him to the pod and wait till further instruction. Are we clear?" Everyone exclaimed and cheered in their own way. Jack silenced them, "Let's not cheer yet till we know we won the battle." That made everyone nodded but still ready to fight.

Finally, after two minutes of high speed flying from the time machine, they had arrived at where Jamie was located. Everyone got out of the vehicle and stared at an old abandoned apartment. Violet breathed out, "This is where Jamie is?" Tip looked down at her phone with a red dot blinking on the screen, "That's what it says.." Jack held his staff close to him, "Let's move in." Everyone followed behind Jack through the door and inside they saw how abandoned the place really was. There were cobwebs everywhere, the wood was rickety, and it was as dead as a doornail silent. Once everyone was in, the door suddenly slammed shut. Everyone turned around nervously.. Did the door just shut on its own? There was a wry chill of a laugh filling the room and the team went in their fighting stance.

"Looks like I have visitors.." Leila? Soon she revealed herself through a cloud of smoke looking as evil as ever. Her black lips turned up at the sight of the frosty boy, "Ah, well if it isn't Jack Frost. I've been waiting for you for quite some time," she turned to the ice queen, "And Elsa. My apologize for scaring you yesterday, I was trying to find Jack, but you wouldn't have known that."

Leila was flying above them, "Hiro Hamada, Wilbur Robinson, Violet Parr, Penny Forester, Tip Tucci and Riley Anderson. Wow, this is such a big crowd! What are you guys here for?" Violet groaned at her sarcasticness, "You know why we're here." Penny yelled, "Give us back Jamie!" Leila smirked, "You mean that boy? He's so worthless, he barely did anything for me." Tip gave Riley her phone and whispered, "Go get Jamie. Hurry!" Riley held the phone and ran toward the hall. Leila saw and aimed her hand at her, "Where are you going runt?"

She fired at her but Baymax 's flying fist block her shot. The fist came back and attached itself in place. Jack couldn't take the loitering, "Ok, enough fooling around, Leila. You wanted a fight, let's fight." The princess of darkness smiled, "Okay, you asked for it." She snapped her fingers and suddenly they all appeared in a different setting. Everyone was outside now standing on a open platform that was 15 stories high. It started to get windy and rain above them. Leila flew above them and Jack did as well. Hiro got on Baymax and went up while Violet turned invisible. The others well..grabbed any piece of debre that they could use as a weapon.

The teens were ready and all stared at their foe, and she had eyes on all them. Leila made the first attack throwing a dark slash at Jack. He blocked the throw with an ice beam with his staff. Elsa and Baymax shot at Leila, but she dodged them and smashed on the ground by Penny and Wilbur. The villain laughed evilly, "Is that all you guys can do?" She conjured a big amount of power and flung it all around her. Some of them blocked it, others were hit and fell over. Leila laughed again.

Riley breathed in and out looking for the room where Jamie was held. She longed to find him and was getting more and more scared, "Jamie! Jamie! It's me Riley! We're here to save you!" Then she heard a faint voice call back. Her breath shook and ran to the sound of the voice. She heard it again and yelled to it, "I'm coming!" Then the voice of Jamie came closer and Riley turned to a new hallway and it was louder and louder now. Then she came to a door and opened it with Jamie tied up to a chair staring right at her. A smile broke across Riley's face, "Jamie!"

"Riley!" Se walked over to him, putting the phone in her pocket, "I'm so glad I found you! We've been worried about you." He let out some air, "I'm glad you found me. How did you know where I was?" She got on her knees in front of him, "Tip had a phone tracker on her phone and we tracked your phone." Jamie grinned, "God bless technology!"

"Amen!" The two laughed and Riley started to untie his feet and arms. When doing so, something came out of her crush's mouth, "You burn so bright, I see stars; The way that you laugh, it's like a heavenly choir; You made me feel invincible; When you're with me, I can take on the world.." Riley just stared at him as he said those words directed to her, "Was that another poem?" Jamie blushed as she undid one of the ropes on his wrist, "I've written more poems than the one I gave you." Riley turned red as well, "I loved what you wrote for me in the poem you slipped into my hand..was it all true?"

Riley finished getting him free and he stood up and rubbed his wrists. Jamie took her hands and Riley felt like she was burning, "Riley, everything I wrote in that poem was what I felt in my heart. And it sure helps when I think about you 24/7. I even tried to make myself look cool to impress you..but it didn't make me feel like myself." Riley shook her head, "You didn't have to do that-"

"That's just it, Riley. I didn't feel comfortable, but all my efforts were to find a way to win you.. I finally had the guts to give you the card and tell you the truth. I'm glad I did because..," he stopped unsure if he should say it but forced himself to anyway, "I think I'm in love with you." Riley felt a tear trickle down and she hugged him, "I think I'm in love with you too."

They held each other for the longest time as they slightly pulled their heads away and looked at each other with a smile. Then, they leaned close to each other and kissed softly on the lips. It felt like sparks flying once again and they were so happy finally united again. They pulled fully away and giggled at their kiss. Riley refocused at the task again, "We have to get out of here and back to the Wilbur's time machine." Jamie nodded and they started to go towards the door, "What about that others?" Riley gave him a reassuring smile, "They'll be fine. Leila will be defeated in no time." She hopes.
